I got a chance to meet up with my girlfriend Stephanie this past weekend. And she brought that bundle o lovin’ she calls a daughter with her.
Hello Willow.
So it got my tractor wheels a-turnin.
A long, long time ago (I can still remember, how the music made me smile….name that song!) I wrote a post about baby wardrobes. I did a whole slew of clothes all for the grand total of $200. Now that is something that even MC Hammer can handle. So now is time for BABY WARDROBE part duece. Best part is that your baby can be dressed to the nines for the same price as one of those expensive diaper bags.
1. Pink Short-Sleeve Pieced Tee $4.18
2. Crossback Apron Top $8
3. Pintucked Top $14.50
4. Short-Sleeve Polo $7
5. Pleated Faux-Suede Ballet Shoes $16.50
6. Cable Knit Cap $7.50
7. Glitter Ballet Shoes $13
8. Fleece Peacoat $19.50
9. Knit Ruffle Jacket $25
10. Ruffled Cardigan $16.50
11. Converse Oxford $18
12. Bow-Trim Straight Leg Jeans $12.50
13. Rosette-Belted Twill Pants $12
14. Denim Skirt-Alls $8
15. Back Button Leggings $8
16. Polka Dot Dress $9.08
And because I like dreaming about dressing (not bearing, carrying, changing or birthing) a child….here is a few outfits that I deem pretty darn cute.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
WEEKEND OUTFIT
BIRTHDAY PARTY OUTFIT
PLAYDATE OUTFIT
CHURCH OUTFIT
Isn’t virtually playing Barbie with other people’s kids and virtual money and having a virtual budget with virtual events to attend with your friend’s babies so much fun?
I know. It almost makes me wanna steal that little bundle of cuteness. Oh and Willow too 🙂
And for past tot wardrobes – check out this post I did a year ago dedicated to my neice Clara.

Those are so cute!! I dream of pretty much everything involved with babies 🙂 I’ve had lots of fun this week – my boyfriend’s sister arrived with her two year old and nine week old. It was really fun….till my babysitting offer turned into mixing formula at 1:30am

Love this post! ‘Course since I have a two-year-old daughter, I know just how fun baby clothes shopping is! And we just found out she’s going to be a big sister!!

Congrats LauraC! Wow – what a fun time for you and your family! I bet your daughter is gonna be a really great big sis!

And I knew if I had my chance, that I could make those people dance…and maybe they’d be happy, for a while.
Great song!

I agree. However, I’m still much too selfish to think of babies (although I do admit that others are cute to dress!), so I like to “play barbie” for myself, hence the post I just did of all things J.Crew that I am currently lusting after! I die at what their new catalog just contained, seriously… heart wrenching stuff! Haha!

That would definitely be American Pie! And your outfit choices are darlin’ for any little girl (which I NEVER had … 3 boys are good too).
Megan says
Love the baby clothes! You have such good tastes!
Taryn says
Wow- that is freaking adorable.
Alyssa says
How cute! Next up you’ll have to show some love for the boys. Like the little one I’ve got a growin’ in my belly 🙂
Di says
No babies here yet, but I love it!
dafarmer06 says
those would be cute on adults too! what a fun, creative idea!

So so cute!!! Willow is a doll and these outfits are fabulous!

ha ha – you are outrageous. I love virtual shopping, I must admit. It’s WAY more fun than actual shopping when you’ve got bills to pay. *sigh
Natalie says
umm does the fleece pea coat come in adult sizes? I want one!
stephanie hoffer says
Oh Dear Katie- someday you will have the best dressed, matchy-mathcy child on the planet. Will you still let him/her play with my mis-matchy ragamuffin Willow who is doomed to wear cheap clothes with mixed patterns and lots of orange and brown? Someday?
Ann says
What a cutie patootie! She’d look like a little fashionista in those duds. Cute!
Laura says
very sweet. Of course I have a little boy so I’m with you dreaming about little girl outfits for my neices.
Jennifer says
You should do this for us grown ups! 🙂 The outfit ideas are super cute and I have a 4 month old so I’m all over this. But seriously, consider showing us some for the hot mammas (and wives) too!
