The boyfriend and I are almost at our 1 year anniversary – I know, it’s crazy! The wedding was a frenzy, the planning for it was out-of-hand – and it all began two years ago in a little town called Orlando.
Naturally, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to revisit where it all began. So before we headed back to the good-ole-A.T.L. – we headed over to the Portofino Bay Hotel.
This Italian inspired hotel is dropdead gorgeous – so the pics don’t do it justice.
We dined here one evening and hands-down the best food we have ever tasted.
I got a photo in front of this main garden – I remember how I had tens of thousands of knots in my stomach last time we were there.
Still makes my heart flutter!
So after a little engagement reenactment, we jumped on the ferry & enjoyed the ride to CityWalk.
This picture just makes me laugh!
We stopped in Hard Rock for lunch. Hard Rock holds special memories for us. We went there for dessert the night he slipped the ring on my finger…we went to one on the honeymoon and we also try to visit each H.R. in each new city we visit.

Personally – I am glad to get back to blogging about house decor and renovations – oh, and just you wait – I have a special basement project that the boyfriend and I have started – and I will need your help, so stay tuned peeps…
I love virtual vacations…one of my favorite trips is to Orlando (Disney World) at Christmas time!
