This is such a good Idea and I loved your summer one two. If you don’t mind I’m going to steal this idea 😀 oh, and what programe do you use to make this? photoshop?
Pine cone bird feeder?! Do you have a tutorial, or maybe some pinned ideas?

This list is delicious!
My in-laws are dairy farmers and every year they create a 5-acre corn maze. It usually takes me hours to find my way out – but it’s so worth it! Enjoy all your autumn activities!! 🙂
Love your list, especially the leaf collection. We have been taking fantastic “leaf adventures” around our town and nearby lake lately and found a book at the library that inspires making leaf animals, called “Look What I Did With A Leaf”. Totally awesome and had to share!

I don’t know if Katie does a fancier version, but we just roll pine cones in peanut butter, then in bird seed, then hang them up. Super-easy, but my two-year-old loved doing it.
THIS is what I love about fall. No better time of the year! You had me at smores.

Hi Katie, I am also from Georgia and I had a question (or 2 haha). First, I assume you go to Cagles for the corn maze right? and also, where do you go for the Apple Barn?? I told the soon to be hubby that this season I wanted to make it a point to go to as many festivals as possible. So far we have missed the N. Ga State Fair (but we usually go to the Cumming fair just bc it isn’t as crowded and more rednecks haha). And I think we already missed the Greek festival. So we need to start soon!! anyway. I have never been to an apple barn or whatever it’s called and I would love to take my 5 year old soon-to-be-step-daughter.
haha – corn hole is a game. some folks call it bean bag toss. but when my mom awkwardly walked around announcing that she loves corn holeing (she heard us mention that as a name), well, it stuck in our family history as one of the funniest moments ever and the name is now official to us 🙂
oh and I made the list in photoshop.

I just used the generic shape settings on photoshop…then added a ‘stroke’ around it and drop shadow. The little bar and the leaves were also generic photoshop items.
xo – kb
Well the words are in Pea C-Squared…it’s a free handwriting font. And the title was Birch STD (which I believe is a built in font with CS4).
Happy fonting!

Well the Apple Barn is in Chattanooga – but we might actually go apple picking soon too. We’ll see. And the corn maze we go to is at CornDawgs which is closer to us and we can knock like ten things off our list with that one visit 🙂

Katie,
We are doing a little weekend getaway trip to Stone Mountain next weekend. Isn’t that close to your neck of the woods? I was wondering if you knew the area/address of the thrift store that You visited while Sherry was in town. I’d love to check it out… it looked like a pretty good one! thanks!
I know that it’s a Goodwill located at the intersection of Scenic Highway 124 and Bethany Church Road but I don’t have the particular address.

Love your fair photos, Katie! Such a fun family time! I was there Thursday with my momma and sister (we saw The Band Perry). It is almost an annual trek for us. My momma is in her 80’s and still loves to go to the fair.
I really wish I could figure out Photoshop. Because I have been sitting here for an hour playing around and just can’t figure it out. And I want to make my own list, lol.
are you going apple picking around north ga? I could use a reccomendation. I bought pie crust anticipating going apple picking but it hasnt happened yet. Hope this weekend.
You are so cute 😛 fall is AWESOME and you deserve every bit of flattery (if not more) then you get. There is only one Kate Bower and your it! 😀 Can’t wait to post our latest check-that-off-the-list blog and thank you for reading.

Hi Katie,
These pics are adorable, gotta love a good hometown fair. I have a question for ya. What kind of stroller do you have and do you like it? I have been wracking my brain trying to decided on a darn stroller for the new bebe and can’t make a decision. There are only about a million different options.
We do love our stroller – it’s not lightweight or a travel stroller by any means but it suits us because it is all-terrain (and we go off roading a lot). It’s called the Phil & Ted Sport 🙂

I checked out that one site that was going through the tutorial for beginners but then I got confused two seconds in and stopped. It’s due for picking back up again when I am caught up on photo editing!

Excellent list!! There are so many fun Fall activities!
Hi Katie,
If you’re wanting to learn to crochet, check out this website – http://www.craftyminx.com/crochet-school/
Dana is doing a “Learn to crochet” series and she’s only up to lesson 3, so you should be able to join in.
It’s a lovely website 🙂

Katie, I love your list.
Two quick questions: How do you make your lists so cute? and, more importantly, What is a corn hole??
This is such a good Idea and I loved your summer one two. If you don’t mind I’m going to steal this idea 😀 oh, and what programe do you use to make this? photoshop?
Corn Hole is a lawn game – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornhole
There are ‘other’ meanings, but I am pretty sure that Katie was referring to the lawn game!!
I agree with Lori…where did you get the list background?
I would like to make one just like that myself. 🙂
I love corn mazes. We have one by my parents’ house that scatters gold arrowheads throughout it. It’s always fun to find them!
I love the idea of an outdoor movie night! What a cute way to spend a fall evening… I love this list!
People also call it “bags,” but we’ve always called it corn hole.
I love fall! This is such a great way to make sure that you get in all your favorite fall activities!
Pine cone bird feeder?! Do you have a tutorial, or maybe some pinned ideas?

so did you make it to the North Georgia State Fair?

Humble suggestion: Try new (creamy) soup recipe in sourdough bread bowls! One of my favorite fall dinners.
I love this. Can’t wait to see how you pull off the outdoor movie night… mostly because i’m intrigued and also want to do it, but have no idea how.
hi katie,
thanks for posting your family fun list! like others here, i’m wondering how you made it. and what font did you use? i really love it!
ooohhh – thanks! I will be off to get my yarn on 🙂

I love “Monster Painting” – that was definitely my favorite 🙂
Thanks for flattering lil ole me…isn’t fall awesome?!

Laura, If you find out where you can go apple picking let me know. I would love to go somewhere like that with my family. 🙂
weird question, I know, but is that your handwriting, or if not, what font it is? I love it and all your ideas on the list!
It’s not my writing…I wish! It’s actually a font call Pea C-Squared and it’s one of my favorites 🙂
