You all know Honest Co.
You know their adorable diapers.
You know their hypoallergenic laundry detergent and baby products.
But did you know they have bath products that are perfect for you ladies as well?! And that they are all updated to BIGGER sizes at the same price? Well…it’s true. And the best part is that now you can pick your favorite scent – Lavender, Sweet Orange Vanilla, or Apricot Kiss. Each scent can enhance your mood whether you are looking for ultra calming, perfectly gentle or deeply nourishing and they are just as clean and satisfying as you have come to expect from Honest.
They asked me to try some of their products out and I was like “SPA DAY! HAPPY FACE HAPPY FACE HAPPY FACE!”
No seriously don’t mess with spa day. I have four boys under the age of six….I need my bubble bath.
When I got the package in the mail I told Jeremy that he had roughly one hour to tie up any loose ends because he would be on diaper duty while I got my spa on. I don’t have a fancy bathroom….the wood paint is chipping and I really need to re-caulk the tiles but it’s got a big ole tub and it feels great filled with hot water so I consider it completely spa-label-worthy.
The first thing I did to make spa-day happen was to grab some flowers and a chair. I piled up some fluffy white towels on it and hung my robe on the side so that it would be ready to go when I was done.
Also – if you attempt spa-day at home, I highly recommend a big tray with your bath products and a few lighted candles. It makes a big difference to know everything is right there on hand when you go to pamper yourself.
I chose the lavender scent bubble bath and body wash because 1. I love that fragrance and 2. anything with ultra-calming is really appealing to me. Did I mention that I have four boys under six? Yeah. Ultra Calming is my best friend, my spouse, my everything 🙂
I also had a cup of my favorite tea ready to go. To make it a little more fancy, I even put a little squeeze of fresh lemon in it. #yolo
When it came time to get in, I made sure to put on some relaxing tunes on the iPad….I just used Pandora to search for spa instrumentals. It was amazing how relaxed I could get when you drown out the sounds of crashing monster trucks and crying kids from downstairs.
I also make sure to tie my hair up because let’s face it – at any moment I might need to jump outta the tub and drop a kid at baseball or fix dinner and these quick nap time spa moments usually don’t extend into time for hair.
I really was excited about the bubble bath. I mean – what girl isn’t?!
And yes, I wore a bathing suit for this because nobody wants to see all that. I guarantee someone would email me and say I pulled an Elaine. And I didn’t want Jeremy to get the wrong idea 🙂
The great thing about the Honest product is that it’s gentle for babies skin too!
My little bath buddy joined me and he was SO excited to play with the bubbles.
My gosh isn’t he just the cutest thing?! And the scent could not be more perfect for him too because he definitely has a hard time being calm for his second nap with his big brothers producing all the action.
Yup….the kid is definitely a fan. I totally see bath time being more fun with this product because it’s great for us both!
After the bath time was over, I broke out the lotion that I received and I am happy to say that I really like it!
It’s thin enough to spread easily but not in a greasy way and it smells great. My heels especially needed attention so I think I might put this on my bed side table for nightly heel-management!
Overall, I am so happy that I tried these out and I can’t wait till my next spa-day. I think I might even get LJ in on the action next time because that kid LOVES being pampered 🙂
The best part about this is that right now Honest Co is offering a discount for you guys! The first 50 readers to use the code BP35OFF can get 35% off their first bundle when you click HERE.(See full details at the end of this post)
I know you are really gonna love it! And for all you mama’s out there….I truly hope that you find someone to come over for one hour one afternoon just so you can do your own spa-day in your tub. Just make sure you take out the toy sharks first….they are very pokey. Trust me. I speak from experience on that one 🙂

Who’s taking the pictures if Jeremy is on diaper duty?

I love Honest 🙂 It smells amazing and my sensitive, eczema prone skin loves it too!

Going off topic (sorry!), I just want to know where you got the iPad stand from.

Well, Jeremy was on dual duty…diaper and picture – the little kids were napping and Will was at school 🙂

Actually it was a gift from my mom but it was too big so I chopped it down and spray painted the whole thing and now I have this tweaked version. I actually DIYed an iPad stand and it would look adorable in that color too! Here is the post about it!

Off topic, but I love your bathing suit! Just had our second baby boy and am coming to terms with the end of my bikini days. Where did you get it? Thanks!’

Old Navy a few years ago. I always look for something that ruches in the middle and has easy nursing access 🙂

I agree, you have to take time for yourself. Life is busy with lots of little ones, but by taking care of you, you can better take care of them. I love my spa days and don’t get enough of them. Once a year for my birthday, my mom treats my sister and I to a spa day – massages, shopping and lunch. I look forward to it every year and it makes getting older fun! Thanks for sharing ways to enjoy a spa day at home. I have a big whirlpool tub that’s been neglected. I might have to start having spa days at home after the kids go to bed.
