Do you know how to pronounce Ryobi? It’s Ree-Oh-Bee. It’s NOT Rye-Oh-Bee. I’ve been wrong for years. YEARS! So my deepest and sincerest apologies to the bright green power tool company….it’s like having a crush on Chris Hemsworth and calling him Liam. (Did you know those dudes WERE NOT THE SAME PERSON?! I thought they were forever. My brain exploded. And then I got mad because I felt like they were infringing on each other’s movie character market. Seriously. Twins.)
But ANYHOOO….
Today is all about Ryobi and a really great giveaway! You guys might know them as the people that we are obsessed with. Obviously. This is our garage….
Some people asked me if we had some kind of deal where we had to say that. Nope. Not even close. We bought Ryobi of our own accord because of the ONE+ system (it’s the single battery that fits all their different tools) and we have talked to a bunch of different professionals and tool reviewers and they all confirmed what we thought….the cost, line up of tools and the power for this brand makes it the best for any at-home DIYer. That’s us by the way. We are at-home DIYers. As are most of you!
And that is what makes today so exciting! We have an awesome giveaway for you from the generous folks over at Ryobi power tools and you can score the tool you need for your next DIY project. Here are the details….
- PRIZE: (1) $300 credit toward ANY Ryobi power tool of your choice
- NUMBER OF WINNERS : (1) ONE
- TO ENTER : Enter by telling me about your next DIY project and tell me what Ryobi power tool you want in the comments. Here is the site to check out the full Ryobi lineup.

We are adding a second garage and would love the opener!
Next DIY is to replace a few boards on our deck and then paint it!
My next project is remodeling our guest bathroom. I need a new drill!
I’m getting ready to finish our unfinished basement. I would love a new cordless drill, my current drill only lasts about a half hour before I need to recharge the battery.
Buying a new house and reno’ing the guest bath is first on our list! We need so many tools!
Our next project is to get our backyard in shape! We would love the 18V ONE+ LITHIUM+ BRUSHLESS STRING TRIMMER.
We are building a headboard bench with an old Jenny Lind bed that bit the dust last year. A table saw would come in handy!
Our next DIY is Shiplap wainscoting in our hallway. I would love a table saw!
Is there a Ryobi tool that will clean and organze my garage for me so I have a better space to work in? I don’t even know which tool I would choose because I want them all!
Wahoo!! We have literally about a million to-dos in our 100 year old fixer, but in the near future I will be re-doing our pantry including patching and skim-coating the plaster walls and ceiling, painting, and re-installing the old solid wood shelves. So…could definitely use a sander.
Our next home project is built in bunk beds for my girls! Thanks for the opportunity!
My husband’s drill went missing after the Easter play at church. Not sure that it was stolen but it might have been accidentally taken home by someone else during the deconstruction of the sets. Nevertheless we have no drill now, so we would definitely be buying a power drill. wehad to borrow his stepdad’s drill to hang curtains last week.
DUAL POWER STEREO WITH BLUETOOTH WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY!!! Talk about something that would make ANY DIY project better. A nice stereo. We recently redid the flooring and cabinets in 2 upstairs bathrooms. I had to use my TV to listen to music. Who would have thought I’d never have a nice portable stereo to use. Ipods and phones don’t cut it, this would be nice to own. We are working our way through the upstairs, painting our master bedroom is the last project then we will make our way to the lower levels to paint. So over the Johnson County Beige(if you are from KS you know what that means. LOL). Hoping to win! Thank you!
We have a lot of projects on our to-do list, and hopefully our next one will be to make a Murphy bed for our guest room that doubles as my sewing room.
Ryobi has so many great tools, and I’m sure my husband wants them all! Someday I want the garage door system you have, but that will have to wait until after my husband retires from the military. Another thing that caught my attention was the high power inflater, it would be perfect for camping trips.
We have various projects around the house to finish up from painting our master bedroom that got put on hold when we found out about our surprise twins to a few more custom storage solutions in the playroom my husband built after converting our covered porch. We also have a kitchen remodel on the to do list but it’s mainly cosmetic, painting cabinets, new counters and back splash. He will be rebuilding the drawers though since the current slides are just not working anymore. I’m loving the ryobi lights and speakers!! I’m sure though there are some tools we could add to our arsenal like one of the routers….I’ve been eyeing them for a while.
We had a wee little incident where a bath and body works wallflower bulb spilled all over our railing, trim and wall. Did you know that the liquid in there eats paint, stain and carpet? Me neither. Anyway, a random orbit sander is high on our wish list!
We would like to do a small bathroom remodel next month, fingers crossed! I think I would choose one of the combo kits to get our Ryobi collection going.
I’m moving to my first ever house (from a tiny apartment), and can’t wait for the possibilities that brings! My only power tool is a drill, and while I’d like to upgrade to a more powerful drill, I think I should also add a saw to my arsenal. What’s the best “starter” or first saw you’d recommend? That’s what I’d get!
I need a miter saw desperately!!!
the 18V ONE+ MITER SAW!!!!!!!!!!! we are slowly getting around to some remodeling in the laundry and bathroom which is going to include a variety of different projects. a nice saw would really speed things along 🙂
We’ve got so many projects at our new house it is hard to pick one! But, I’ve been eyeing a Ryobi hedge trimmer and edger to clean up outside and enhance our curb appeal.
Our current DIY is our wedding. We are DIYing a lot of the decorations by cutting up trees in our backyard. However, in order to cut those trees, we need a chainsaw. We’ve narrowed down a couple choices – including the Ryobi One+ Chainsaw. We love the versatility of the battery just like you guys – simplifies the tool shed!
We just added on a garage to our house. Our first need will be a miter saw so that we can get to building a nice work bench and some storage shelves!
Oh man! We have the nailer and love it! I really need a new sander for my next prpject–refinishing a headboard
We have a ton of yard work that is piling up! I would choose any of Ryobi’s yard tools.
Hi Katie, I would want the hand planer. We are building a brand new house and have lots of woodworking in our near future! Maria
My next DIY project (aka my FIRST Diy project): converting a Mercedes Sprinter van into a camper vacation mobile!
The Ryobi tool I need: Literally everything. I currently am embarking on my Sprinter van conversion journey with a hammer, a tape measurer, and an allen wrench. Really.
I have NEVER done anything DIY/Construction/used power tools. Every single person I’ve told about my plan to convert this van has put me down. But guess what, I’M DOING IT ANYWAYS. Following blogs like yours has really helped me realize that woman can use power tools and build anything! Really! I love your blog, and I’m super excited for you guys to start sharing progress photos on your camper!
Our next big project is a sliding barn door between our master bedroom and bathroom. If I won, I’d purchase a table saw.
18V ONE+ONE™ 10 in. Brushless Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw
Love the Ryobi ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit with Miter Saw (6-Tool)! My next project is definitely going to be shelves! I need storage!!
What a great giveaway! Yay! I am about to embark on my 1st time ever! flooring install. I would love to have the 7 1/4″ Miter Saw w/Laser; Model #P551. That would make my cuts soooo much easier! Thank you for the opportunity! Love Ryobi – your collection is something to aspire to 😀
We are currently in the process of completely gutting our master bath, and Ryobi tools have been in heavy rotation. My next project is redoing our fireplace surround and putting built in cabinetry in the living room, and I would love to have their cordless sander or router for that project!
We just moved out to a wooded lot and we have lots of trees and limbs to clean up. I’d say we need the one+ chain saw
My husband LOVES RYOBI tools and has gradually been buying them as we can afford them. I like them because I feel like in the long run it is saving us money since they all use the same battery. We are renting a home right now but hope to buy in a few months so tools are becoming more and more important to us. I think my husband wanted to buy the laser level next! I would love to surprise him with a giftcard for his first father’s day.
Hi Katie!
We just got finished building a farmhouse table, and now we are building a bench to go with. We would love a Ryobi sander to make our project go so much faster!
Misty Ross
We recently moved so we have lots of projects, but at the moment our power cord yard tools aren’t cutting it (literally) on our larger 150′ long extension cord requiring yard. So a cordless edger/trimmer and blower are needed so we can clean things up and start making some landscape improvements!
I’d love to tackle a re-do of our deck or try my hand at building a small end/coffee table–would love to get the sliding miter saw w/ stand to assist. We received a basic set of Ryobi tools as a housewarming gift and have used them extensively in our two years of homeownership, would love to add to the collection!
I built a huge arbor, and my husband likes it so much that now we’re soon building a huge (40’x14′!!) pergola! I need an impact driver and a new jigsaw, badly! And a new sawzall too. It’s huge huge undertaking!
My next DIY project is a Wheel of Fortune spinner for a game show themed picnic! I would love the Ryobi jig saw to help cut the circle for the wheel.
I have been getting into making wood art recently, having a table saw would make this much easier and more enjoyable. I live in a small space though so I think the portable table saw would help me out the most!
I have been in my 1900s house for 5 years, during that time I have completed renovated the interior of my home (including gutting my kitchen and bathroom). Unfortunately, my back yard is a completely different story! I’ve decided that 2017 is the year that I will add the 3rd living room to my home and reclaim my yard from the weeds and overgrown shrubs! The plans include a new deck, pergola, a chandelier, and lot of little white lights!! I have had my eye on the 18V ONE+™ BRUSHLESS HAMMER DRILL/DRIVER KIT – I even told Santa I would take an early Christmas gift – so that I could make my project happen!
I would probably get the drill set. We currently only have an electric drill. There are all kinds of projects it would be helpful with. Need to repair and paint the fence so could start there! Thanks for the opportunity 😉
We are organizing our garage and a new ultra-quiet garage door opener is at the top of our list!
I would love a cordless brad nailer!
I need to sand the metal railing that goes up to the loft (my office) over our living room. Which means mess!! You recommended their palm sander recently so I was looking at that. I thought no was ryobi. But I need advice on a good vacuum system to hook up to a sander for indoor use. I recently built bunk beds in the guest room closets (we have lots of grandkids), so I have lots of indoor sanding to do!
We have a lot of Ryobi tools for the same reason. They are definitely our fave! Our next project is the bathroom and mudroom area! I’ve been eager to remodel it for so long! My husband would love the wireless speakers, but we need a miter saw for a few projects.
My husband and I are still very much home improvement neophytes, and our tool collection is suuuuper basic. So basic that the portable table saw is something we desperately need if we’re ever to start DIY-ing in earnest!
Our next project is to build planters for our new patio (yay!!). I’ve been ogling the table saw for months now!
My next major DIY will be sanding and staining my deck and screened in porch as well as repairing some of the damaged boards. As for the tool it would be a tossup between a sander and that outdoor speaker – I know the sander would be most practical but a good outdoor speaker would help pass the time with some good music and podcasts!
Power drill…for everything around the house!!!
My son’s twin bed is our next project and I’d love to have the Ryobi nail gun! I’m so over using the air compressor!
I am falling more in love with Ryobi every day. I bought my house last year and have been tackling projects as my skills allow. While I can’t afford the whole line-up I have been choosing tools that will be used long term. I would get so much use out of a 18V ONE+™ JOBPLUS™ WITH MULTI-TOOL ATTACHMENT. Between running new electric and replacing the ceilings I have so many uses for it.
Thanks Katie and Ryobi
PS I’ve been saying it wrong too.
We are adding molding to our dining room so I would love a brad nailer!
Redoing our kitchen and dining room floors. We will need ALL THE THINGS!
Outdoor table has been on my list for a while and we are in need a new cordless drill. Ours is 30+ years old and has seen better days.
I want them all! But seriously the garage door opener is cool. We can always use a new saw. Or the pressure washer.
I already sent your last post of all the cool Home Depot Ryobi tools to my dad and husband!! My favorites were the handheld vacuum, the router and the speakers! It would be a tough choice! 🙂
I have an old navy blue Ryobi miter saw that needs replaced badly! This would really help us with all the trim work and quarter round we’ve been replacing.
We’re working on a bathroom remodel, but are then moving onto moldings throughout the entire house! Desperately need a pneumatic nail gun, but would love any and everything!
My husband recently picked up a large round hunk of tree and we’re ready to make it unto a coffee table. Just need a planer to finish it!
Oh my goodness! What I would do with a few new tools!
I have been slowly acquiring my own tools, but for the majority of my projects I have to borrow tools from my brother-in-law. It would be SO nice to have my own nail gun!
Maybe I can finally finish that corn hole set I started…
Great giveaway! Thanks!
We are going to tile our laundry room floors! It has peel and stick tile in there now, and it is just not cutting it. I would love to be able to purchase a tile saw to make this project easier as we have rented on for our last two projects.
My dad is retired now so his honey-do list has grown considerably longer. I’m a single mom to a son and he has been an amazing father figure to his grandson and I would love for him to be able win this gift. He is currently working on replacing the screens on their back porch. I don’t know for sure what tool he needs but all the screen is tacked up and then trim has been nailed over it to keep it in place and no matter how gentle he is trying to get the trim down to replace the screen it is splintering and breaking. Which sadly means this is turning into replacing all the screen and all the trim so I’m sure there is some tool that could help make his life easier 🙂
My next project will be building a privacy screen around the electrical boxes in my backyard. I really would like a router, though I’m not sure which one. Probably the palm router!
We’re finishing our basement. Looking at the cordless finishing nailer!
A built in wine rack….and my current drill just won’t cut it!
I just moved and am planning to make a console table for behind my sofa. A Ryobi circular saw would be awesome!
I’m new to the DIY game and want to build my tool supple, My newest project is a basement shelving, organization structure and I would love the 18V ONE+™ BRUSHLESS HAMMER DRILL/DRIVER KIT
So many tools, so little money – haha! Ryobi’s 12 in. Sliding Miter Saw with Laser, definitely! Working on Crown moulding and baseboard and a outside table thrown in for good measure.
I have been mis-pronouncing Ree-oh-bee as well as these years. Good to know!
thank you
We have to do our basement stairs so we need one of their sanders!
We live in MA so have lots of ticks & mosquitos (amongst other bugs) this time of year. Would love the outdoor sprayer!
We bought our first house about a year ago and keep borrowing tools from our friends and neighbors. I’d love to finally get a drill set of my own!
I would definitely get a nailer! I”ll be building some shelves and sliding doors to insert into a wall cavity to make sure of a TON was wasted space and get rid of alot of open storage.
Our next project is finishing our basement (we’re halfway done!) and we could really use the cordless finish nailer
My next project is building a king bed frame, I’ve been dying to get my hands on the Ryobi Airstrike
I’m working on making some photo back drops and a miter saw would come in pretty handy!
I’m getting ready for make a name sign for the nursery. I would love one of the combo kits!
We are gearing up to do a lawn / garden overhaul once the weather cools down after summer (FL humidity is no joke), so we’d love the trimmer. The grass is encroaching on the driveway and sidewalks!
I have fond memories of playing in the playhouse my parents built for us as kids and really want to build one for my kids this summer. I would love to have a table saw!
We are renovating an entire house, so we could use a lot of tools, but I’d love a tile saw or a brad nailer.
I’d love a finish nailer to help with all the crown molding we will be installing later this year!
My husband and i are buying our first home and we build a lot of our own furniture using our Ryobi drill, Ryobi jigsaw and a hand me down circular saw. I would love to get a more permanent set up with the Ryobi table saw and a cordless nail gun so we can knock out many more projects to come!
OMG YES YES YES! I was just saying this weekend we need more Ryobi. After mowing the lawn I realized I need a weed wacker to get some areas and don’t have one. I want one from Ryobi because I hate my father’s gas powered one. Also, I’ve been eyeing their Compound Miter Saws. I’d like to build a few pieces of furniture – TV Stand and Master bed. I just haven’t figured out which one is the best for my needs.
My next project is finishing my master bath ( I’ve already replaced the floor, the vanity the closet door and the toilet) but I need to tackle the 30+ year old tub and the water damaged drywall around it. I would love to be able to get the cordless brad nailer to finish installing the molding I pulled out (I’ve had my eye on that puppy for quite a while) or the 4″ tile saw (it’d be great for the subway tile I’m planning to do around the tub).
My deck is in serious need of repair and help, so is my kitchen floor.
Our next DIY plan is to build an outdoor kids picnic table for our kiddos and friends to have alongside ours. I’d love the disc/belt sander to make joinery work go much smoother and faster! (Pun intended)
I totally want the 18V ONE+ LITHIUM+ CORDLESS LAWN MOWER! I have the leaf blower and the hedge trimmer and nnnnnnneeeeeeedddd the mower!
The next project we are making for the house are several obelisks for our climbing plants. We have a nice honeysuckle that has some old fence poles holding it up. Not attractive at all. What I really want is the One+ 18v hedge trimmer . This would really help us with all the trimming we have to do around here. We bought our first (and hopefully final) home last year and the place is full of shrubs and bushes that all need trimming a few times a year.
Refinishing the cabinetry of our built in shelves (doors and shelving). I would love the cordless nailer to beef up the trim work!
We just recently bought our very first house and have been hard at work to improve the look of the lawn that had been destroyed by a dog that lived in the yard previously (re: no grass in half of it..) Thanks to your recommendation, we already purchased a Ryobi Mower and String Trimmer. Next on the list are the Blower and Hedge Trimmer! We love our Ryobi lawn tools!
We are working on maximizing our garage space. We would love to have some of the garage tech pieces!
is anything an answer? we just bought our first home and there is a super old kitchen, a wall whose existence mocks me, and faux wainscoting literally …LITERALLY… everywhere.
Our next DYI project is rebuilding and expanding our deck! Would love to have the 18V ONE+™ 3-SPEED ¼ IN. IMPACT DRIVER to help us get the job done!
We literally just found out our offer was accepted on our first home!! I don’t have a DIY bone in my body but my hubby better start learning quick:) I think we would benefit from any tool at this point to be honest, since we are moving from a 400 foot square apartment in NYC! 🙂
I just finished a potting bench and raised garden beds and want to build some outdoor furniture so we have a place to sit and enjoy the yard. I would love a Cordless Finish Nailer to finish the project.
Hey Katie! We just moved into our new home, and could really use a brad nailer for the molding and trim projects we have planned! 🙂
Thanks!
Our garage needs a total redo. Starting with the garage door opener would be awesome. Thanks for the chance.
We’re going to tackle some Ana white table plans and would love the circular saw and sander.
We are doing some minor upgrades to the house in hopes of moving soon to make room for another little babe. Top on the list is a new deck and I think the Sliding Compound Miter Saw would be a huge help with the deck. Also, I’ve always wanted to try my hand at making some furniture, so if I had one I might just give it a shot!
Our next project is to convert our coat closet into an open drop zone with a bench. We need a table saw to make our bigger cuts. We love Ryobi products!
I really want a Ryobi garage door opener. Not really a “tool” per se, but they are awesome.
The garage door opener! We already have a decent number of Ryobi tools, but the garage opener would be awesome!
I want to plank a wall in our house but my husband wont agree unless we get him a nail gun. I am looking at the 18V ONE+™ ANGLED 15 GA FINISH NAILER 🙂
My husband and I are wanting to add some wainscotting and crown molding so we’re definitely a miter saw.
I want to build a wood countertop for our laundry room (similar to what you did for your friends’ home) and would love to use the 10” Sliding Miter with Stand. Would make the project so much easier!
We are about to tackle built-ins in our formal living room. We definitely need to add a router to our list of tools! I love that you can use one battery for everything!
We are getting ready to build a countertop to go over our washer and dryer. Ryobi’s 10″ Portable Table Saw With Quickstand, would sure be nice.
Next project is our second daughters nursery! I think our due dates are about a week apart, Katie!! 🙂 I would love to add the RYOBI 10 in. Portable Table Saw with Quick stand to our tool line up! There’s a sliding barn door on the ‘project nursery #2’ list and it would help tremendously!! Straight clean cuts that we don’t have to rely on the hardware store to do for us, or stand in line and wait for, or potentially not get accurate… Yeeeesssss Please! Thank you!
I’ll be painting my kitchen cabinets this summer! As soon as my sweet baby boy starts sleeping all night I’ll start tackling it in the evenings. Can’t wait!
But . . . my husband might win out and we’ll start our upstairs reno. And for that we need a Miter Saw!
My dad is helping me build a kitchen island and he made a joke about me getting him a Table Saw – well that is the item I would want for my dad (so he can help me with my projects 😉 )
fingers crossed
My husband just finished building twin beds for our girls – now they need a dresser so that’s next on the list. A sander or finish nailer would be AWESOME. Or a radio – that would be great too!!
We have to finish our main floor bathroom
I’d totally posh up my dining room by using the 18V ONE+™ 16GA CORDLESS FINISH NAILER to create some wonderfully intricate molding detail under my chair rail.
We are going to build a built in desk/bookshelf unit in our office. So many new tools I would love, but the ryobi laser circular saw and a router are at the top of the list!
We’re currently updating our 80s kitchen, then have plans to install crown molding throughout the living/kitchen/dining areas. We would REALLY love to have a compound miter saw before starting that!
My son and I love to build furniture together so we would love a RYOBI AirStrike cordless finish nailer.
We are moving into a new house and are looking at adding moulding and putting together a farmhouse kids table in the new space! We redid most everything in our old house by borrowing tools from our parents as we needed them so to have a few things on hand (specifically a nail gun and/or a sander) would be SO helpful!
My husband and father in law spent countless hours and weekends completely re-building the back deck on our 60 year old ranch last summer(in the ATL Georgia heat! Whew!), and we have yet to stain it because it first needs a good pressure wash(as well as our driveway and brick on the back side of our house!). We are Ryobi lovers too, so I think we would go for the pressure washer!
Our next project is re-doing our bathroom. A tile saw would be amazing!
I need to build fences to keep the bunnies out of my raised beds!
Miter saw and finish nailer. I DESPERATELY want to do some crown!
Although, truthfully, my next project is probably going to be a square foot gardening box, but I got the necessary tools for that already covered :~)
We are building some furniture for our new nursery. We really need a table saw to help with the process!
We have lots of trim projects going on in our house! So, a miter saw would be awesome!
My wife said a pressure washer, but I’d like to add quieter garage door openers. Ours sounds like an old wooden roller coaster going up the hill!
Tiling our shower
We are getting ready to build a huge detached garage. I would love to have the ultra quiet garage door opener like you have. I know it’s technically not a power tool, but I’ve wanted one since you posted about it!
Weather has wreaked havoc on our exteriors…. could really use a pressure washer!
This summer our focus is on our curb appeal/yard! We would love to try a battery powered hedge trimmer. Our corded hedge trimmer tends to lop off it’s own power source. 😉
I’m getting ready to make cedar window boxes for the front of my house – I don’t have a circular saw or a miter saw but could definitely use either one for this project!
18V ONE+ONE™ 10 IN. BRUSHLESS DUAL BEVEL SLIDING MITER SAW to tackle all of my upcoming garage organization and storage projects. A miter saw would make the work go so much faster than the handsaw!
We just bought a historical 200 yr old house and I am in the process of getting rid of layer upon layer of paint from the fireplaces and woodwork. My sander just took a dive so I would start with the 1/4 Sheet Finish Sander Kit, then drool my way through the rest of the tools to find the ones that will make my job easier.
We might be taking on a pergola, so a finish nailer would be nice!
Our wimpy cheap drill just knocked out so we’d love a new drill to finish up a lot of little projects– installing a baby gate, adding a pantry etc!
What a great giveaway! My husband has been dying for a new impact driver and I think that would be the perfect gift for his first father’s day (so he can do some nursery projects before our first babe arrives in October – due 3 weeks before you are!)
Our next project will be building a pergola for our patio! There are so many ryobi tools we want and need ha! Anything from the Ryobi 18v one+ line: A cordless nailer, the speakers, law tools, the high power inflator would help when camping and setting up our waterslide 🙂 Yay!
Hi Katie! We are adding board and batten to our hallway. We would love to have the Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw so we wouldn’t have to keep borrowing my dad’s. 🙂
We are finishing up the remodel of our 103 year old home and not sure which one I’d choose! So many projects. 🙂
Our next project is to build a storage bench to hold baskets of shows that will look like a built-in in our mudroom. I can’t decide on a tool…maybe a table saw or jig saw. Eek…I want both!
The cat corner sander is something I would use to sand my kitchen cabinets and paint them. Thanks!
We love our Ryobi tools! We are redoing our garage right now and would love their garage door opener (does that count as a tool?). We also would love a paint sprayer so we can paint the garage!
For all of the indoor projects a cordless nailer would be awesome!
18V ONE+ LITHIUM-ION HAMMER DRILL AND IMPACT COMBO
We are going to build a cover for a deck.
We’ve got 20 railroad ties and 1500lbs of gravel being delivered on Wednesday to build a new retaining wall with French drain for our sad/collapsing/washing-away back garden. Would love the ONE+ hammer drill, to go with our other (favourite) ONE+ tools! Also secretly coveting the 16ga nail gun to go with our 18ga one. Keep up the good work, Ryobi!
We would love a hand-held planer for all of our woodworking projects! My husband is currently building a dining room table out of reclaimed wood, so this would be the best!
Sander for furniture building!
Since your post about a finishing nailer for Valentine’s Day, I keep wishing I had got one (I hintes hard). I’m in the process of tearing down one shed to build a new one. A nailer would be great for the projects ahead.
Im really wanting to work on our curb appeal (and enjoyed your recent post about it!) We have a Ree-Oh-Bee palm sander and jigsaw, and love them both. A table saw would really help with the cuts on the bench, planters (your big ones! 🙂 ) and some window shutters i’m hoping to make this summer!
thanks for the giveaway!!
Would love to add a buffer to our lineup to really make those hand applied wax finishes sing. My next project is a little reading bunk for my classroom.
I want to make a picture ledge shelf! Would love to have a cordless nailer for that!
I’m building a combo leaning bookcase/blanket ladder. So I’m thinking the 18V ONE+™ 16GA CORDLESS FINISH NAILER might be just what I need.
We are building a back porch, and varies projects this summer and the sliding miter saw would be awesome to have! Thank you!
Our next DIY is replacing our wood rotted door frame. I know nothing about tools but husband will do anything to not pay someone else to do work around the house! This one will be a huge undertaking!
Love the cordless nailer, would make residing the house a breeze.
I want the ONE+ lawn mower! Does that count as a power tool?
That belt sander or band saw are next up on our purchase list!
We have a handful of Ryobi One tools already but we would LOVE their belt, sheet, and finish sanders. Just put in our playset and want to polish up any rough spots. But now that I looked through their whole line, the Power Inflator sounds pretty awesome and the Cultivator would be perfect for fall planting!!!!
Our next big project is our laundry room! Would love to purchase a Ryobi table saw for shelves and trim!
I just finished a sofa table and am starting on building a farmhouse table and bench. I would love their table saw. I have their leaf blower, weed eater, drill and impact driver and wouldn’t use any other brand. They are amazing!!!
I am practically a power-tool virgin. I would buy a miter saw or a new drill. I’ll be hacking our IKEA Besta unit and could use some tools for that!
We are finishing up a garage makeover. My next project on my list is a garden for the backyard. I want to build a few different planter boxes! My son would also love a clubhouse in the backyard
We are just finishing up with a new house build, and we have tons of trees we need to cut down so the chainsaw would be a good starting point so we can actually enjoy the yard when we move into our new house!
We will be moving in the near future, so I’m sure we’ll have a ton of projects to tackle soon. I have been eying a new miter saw and stand, so the sliding miter saw would be perfect for all of the future projects coming our way!
I’m working on transforming a desk into two side tables! A jigsaw would come in handy right about now.
We are in the never ending process of finishing our basement. I have an old headboard and dresser for the guestroom down there that I want to refinish. A new Ryobi sander would be awesome!
What a great giveaway!
We have a couple projects coming up on the horizon, that would make a tablesaw really come in handy ! However my husband is currently working on a closet redo for me, and he was talking about how having a new drill or impact driver would be really helpful because ours is getting really old .
Guess I forgot to say I would love a table saw to build the planter beds!!
We are working on our backyard, and our Bose Bluetooth speaker finally took its last breath so the ONE+ Score Wireless Speaker Set would be amazing!
We are getting ready to build a house! Our floor plan has an attached garage (I’ve never had one of those in my life). The thought of being able to load up/unload all of our kids in our car and stay dry even in the rain gets me super excited. The Ultra-Quiet Garage Door Opener sounds AMAZING! If I was the lucky winner, that’s totally what I would buy.
Thanks for the giveaway!
We need to sand down our deck railing before priming and painting it. Would love a cordless sander!
My next project is currently being worked on. We ate redoing our master bath and bedroom. I would really like a router to be able to put finishing touches on the edge of our new baseboard which we are putting up. We are using 1×4’s and a nice rounded on edge on the top using a router would add that finishing touch!
I have a dog that sheds, a lot. I want to pull up all of my carpet on my first floor and install the wood-look ceramic tile. Makes the fur tumbleweeds easier to manage. To do this, I need the tabletop tile saw with stand. 😉
Hi there!
Our next project is likely going to be either a patio table or putting in laminate floors on our first floor. We just bought our house in January, and have ENDLESS projects, so picking just one is tough.
The Ryobi tool that I want most (aside from ALL OF THEM) is the Air Strike. Oh, how easy projects would be to not have to take out the compressor!!!
Home Heart and Life on Facebook
Our next DIY project is a queen size bed with built in drawers! But we need a new garage door opener first #homeownerproblems haha
Next project is a tv stand for the office and we would need the ryobi miter saw.
I have too many future products to list them all. I will be adding some quarter round trim to my baseboards within the next couple of months so a miter saw would definitely come in hand. I would also love to own a nail gun. Oh and a jig saw. I could keep going and going…
I’ve been wanting to make a couple outdoor benches! A nail gun would be so nice and make a diy project so much easier!
Oh! I would love to have the 10” PORTABLE TABLE SAW!!! We are upgrading our builder-grade bathrooms throughout the house. This would be ah-mazing to have for those projects.
I’m building a bed for my sweet girl’s 5th birthday, and I’d really really love the Ryobi garage door opener with the fan and bluetooth speakers. Ours has seen better days and I’d love to be able to listen to music and be cool while I’m working in the garage!
With a baby on the way and summer coming up there are so many tools we would love to add to our collection for some DIY projects! Perhaps a new drill or a power sander or I know a router could come in handy for some fun nursery items!
Ha! What project AREN’T we working on? My husband is building an airplane in the garage (yes, really)- and I’m working on building an entertainment center in my living room. I’d love a band-saw to help with that. (and my husband wants a plane engine. Or a magic machine that can rivet an entire fuselage instantly. One of those. I don’t suppose Ryobi can do that? 😀 )
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen (YAY finally!!!!!) but during the process one of our drywall contractors (the only task we didn’t do ourselves) unfortunately hired a not so savory character who stole our weed wacker and his really awesome back pack blower. We get a ton of weeds and have more weed wackily than most and would love either of these items. We would really appreciate the help and my husband is a ryobi guy so I know he would be shocked and so excited!
I need to make a new table top for a desk! I would KILL for a table saw like the Ryobi portable one!
My first project will involve the sander. I had to pawn my ryobi sander but can’t wait to get another so I can make over a small table for my daughter. I love ryobi and used them all the time. Can’t wait to get more so I can do all the projects I need to. The list is long. Thanks.
We just bought a house with land for our four boys and have lots of projects going on. I would love a nail gun for the shiplap we are adding to our entryway.
My husband and I love Ryobi and would so appreciate adding to our collection to help with projects at our new house! We’d love the sander, the lawn trimmer, the chainsaw…anything really!
I want to build a table to hold my self healing mat for sewing products that has built in cubbies for storing supplies in the legs. I would buy the: PORTABLE TABLE SAW WITH QUICKSTAND.
My next project is a sofa table for my lamp and a blanket ladder to house all of the blankets we have! I really need a new cordless drill after I “lost” mine in my divorce—I have a beautiful Kreg jig that I have used to make things in the past and nothing to drill a hole with!
My husband and I would love the Ryobi lithium trimmer and blower. We bought a new house last year and have tons of landscaping to do!
Love Ryobi tools and I too have been pronouncing it wrong. I want to get into making more furniture and home decor like a new dining room table and some shelves. I think the cordless brad nailer would be awesome and I have the small miter saw but probably need the bigger one.
Thanks! Nicole
We are building a built-in bench. I’d love a table saw!
I have a lot of tools and a lot of projects ahead of me (one of which will be new hardwood floors this summer) but the one tool we’ve never purchased is a table saw. I’m tired of creating a make-shift table saw by clamping guides and using my circular saw.
We are working on building gates for our deck to keep our dogs in the fences in yard. We would love to buy a new drill. The one we have is the starter drill with not a lot of power and we have problems all the time. We’d love to have a heavy duty one!
We are getting ready to start a half bath remodel. I would LOVE to have a miter saw!
My next diy project is building some cabinets for my laundry room. I need a Ryobi table saw in my life to rip down some plywood and mouldings.
We’re getting ready to tear out carpeting in our master bedroom and lay hard wood floor. Winning that Ryobi miter saw sure would help!
So many projects – new headboard, patio furniture – garage door opener, jigsaw, nailgun, powerwasher!
The cordless nailer!!
hopefully our next project is a pantry in the kitchen. I would love to have a sawzall, it just looks like a great all purpose tool.
We are working on a bathroom renovation and I would love the Ryobi worklight! We have a very old one that gets dangerously hot- like, burn your hand off hot! I always knock into it with my elbows and knees so not only do I have normal DIY bumps and bruises, I have burns from the worklight!
We are getting ready to start building a fence so our new puppy has a place to run around. A new circular saw would really come in handy!
My next project is installing crown and baseboard trim in my entire house. I could really use the cordless finish nailer!!!
I would absolutely LOVE a tile saw! We are going to be redoing our kid’s bathroom and there is some new tile in the plans!
We are thinking of tackling our master bathroom next. We’d love a tile saw to help make the process easier!
Table saw! We’re cleaning up from hail damage around here, so deck work, etc. And, we’re always building small tables and things for the kids’ rooms. Oh, and I complete agree with other folks on the Air Strike!
A miter saw would make my life complete! We’re wanting to build a kitchen table and some other furniture so that would help make things fun!
I am cleaning up my yard getting to sell, this 18V Lithium cordless trimmer/edger would be great since my old one just broke!!
We are going to start replacing our fence, so a nail gun would be the most handy tool to have right now!! If it were up to me though, I’d chose the garage door opener system like you have – I love it and certain that we “need” it! We love the Ryobi tools we already have, too 🙂
Girl, I can’t possibly choose between Chris or Liam. Oh, wait, you wanted to know what Ryobi tool I would choose. My bad 😉
I promised my son I would make him a loft bed for his 4th birthday – which was back in December. Oops. Having a compound miter saw would certainly make that project easier 🙂
We have a deck, fence, and garage makeover all lined up for this summer! Another drill or drill/driver would be so handy. And I’ve been eyeing a belt sander.
Revamping our laundry room and the little bathroom that’s attached to it. I also mispronounced the name! I just got their table saw which is the only one I’m not afraid of using. I’d love to have the compound miter saw.
I would use new tools to build an armoire for our new house! And maybe some built ins.
We want to redo our bathroom and tile the floor…would love the Ryobi tabletop tile saw!
Our next project is a big one…hardwood floors!!! We have been debating on the table saw.
We’re on the last leg of a five (5) year remodel. By now we could probably use all new tools, but up next is the new farmhouse table and built-in seating. We could really use the sander to help make the project run smoothly!
Id love to make a doll house for my daughter next. We would definitely get either a sander or a circular saw next. We have the drill and it’s amazing.
Pallet art and framing out my builder basic mirrors. So basically any tool that helps me do that!
My husband does most of the DIY at our house, and has been trying to build a few furniture pieces we need. I think he would love a router (and that would be such a fun Father’s Day present!)
My husband just built a fence around our garden and only has the gates and making all the posts the same height left. (Plus adding to fancy tops I bought to look good on each post!) We’re also in the middle of organizing the garage. Your garage pictures leave me !! I would love to get him another saw or other tool to beef up his collection! He works so hard, and it’s perfect timing with Father’s Day just around the corner!
We’re finishing up a shade structure for the backyard so that’s the next/current project. I think I’d love to get one of the 10” table saws…
We are in the middle of DIYing a shed and our drill is dying.
Our backyard is up next the workshop blower would be awesome to have for cleaning up.
I am refinishing the cabinets in my kitchen and would lover a new router and stand.
I really want the automatic garage door opener for our new garage my husband built.
OMG!! Awesome!! We doing our master bathroom. I REALLY ant there Brad nailer!!
My husband and I have really been upping our DIY game these last few years – so far we’ve built a stand for our fish tank, a dining table, a headboard, and a few nightstands. This summer we’re hoping to construct a bench for our table and a deck storage unit to hold all of our patio furniture cushions. The 10″ portable table saw with quickstand would be SO helpful!
We love Ryobi! I would love the Ultra Quiet Garage Door Opener because ours sounds like it is struggling every time I click that button! I hope it doesn’t fall on me one of these days. 🙂
Hi Katie!
Beyond excited about this! You had me hooked on Ryobi ever since your garage post.
We just bought a house, so the project possibilities seem endless! However, building our own dining room table and adding more crown molding are pretty high priority for us. We need a Ryobi miter saw stat!!
LOVE Ryobi! I have quite a few projects lined up, but I think the next one that I’m going to do is to work on my closet… paint, build shelves, etc. Right now it is just full of boxes.
Next on my tool wish list is an orbital jig saw.
I will be finishing off my “built-in” Ikea Pax closet, so a new miter saw and nail gun would be great!
We’re going to be doing crown molding and base boards in the next month or so and I want a gun to save my life 🙂 I have no clue which gauge and I’m assuming I want brad nails and not staples right??
What a great giveaway! My husband and I love Ryobi tools too! We’re making a shiplap style fireplace next, and could really use the Ryobi table saw.
I have 2 projects! I am redoing my garage and the Ryobi garage door opener is ON MY LIST!! That thing Is AMAZING and I need it!! In the garage redo I am going trough all my project furniture that I have been hoarding – I mean adding to my to do list and its just sitting there because i HATE my sander. I have my eye on the Ryobi 5in orbit sander – that will for sure motivate me on my furniture projects!
You say “next project” like we have a plan? LOL. Still, would love a nail gun – so much more efficient!
I’m building new play table chairs this weekend, but I’m also eyeing an attempt at a bed (or 2) soon. I’ve been dreaming about the Ryobi One Brad nailer for ages!
Our next DIY project is rebuilding our front steps. We’d love a circular saw!
I want to put built in bookcases and a window bench in my office! I’d love a table saw!
I’ve been eyeing up that garage opener that you guys put in your garage with a pull down extension cord!those suckers are always so hard to find!
I am making a picnic table for grandkids. I would love the Ryobi Miter Saw!
I would absolutely love to pick up a 10″ compound miter saw to help build by boys beds and a step stool to help them out. Ryobi has definitely hit my radar because of you guys and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of their tools.
Yeah!! Love Ryobi tools. Started using tmem 2yrs ago and love the convience of interchangeable batteries but the best part is their size. They fit a woman’s smaller grip. I can now change batteries using one hand. I am currently adding door trim then plan on moving to outside projects. Thinking of dining table, chairs and lounges. Using Ana Whites plans of course. If I won I would purchase the table saw or the garage door opener. Either of these would be a great help about now.
My daughter has a 4-H project that will require a lot of sanding, so the sander would be amazing! I also would love a nail gun, there are so many things I could use that for. Thanks for sharing!
I like the noise-suppressing ear buds. Or the glue gun. Or the rechargeable vacuum…too many possibilities! 🙂
I have a huge 2 car garage that is begging for a makeover similar to yours! Honestly, I could use any Ryobi tools as my current tools are old. I love the idea of the ONE system. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would provide a happy home for any of these tools! Next projects include flooring in the master bedroom, potentially a new roof (woof $), and some outdoor updates.
I’ve been wanting to do some wall words but need a bandsaw. This would be perfect!
I would love to get a table saw and a router to help with making some furniture pieces for my house!
My plan is to start woodworking to raise money for our next adoption! I would use the money to invest in a miter saw!
My husband and I just moved across the country to Chattanooga and have a laundry list of new project! Our deck has zero stairs to the yard, we have no storage closets, and our newly one year old girl needs some outdoor play equipment! I would LOVE the chainsaw or sander!
It’s pronounced “Ree” and not “Rye”?! All these years. I had no idea. I wonder how many times the home improvement store guys laughed at me… 🙂 Anyway, I would love to build some cedar planters this summer for our patio. We have a miter saw, but the circular saw would sure be helpful too!
I think we’ll be tackling installing some wainscoting underneath our breakfast bar and into the kitchen. It’d be really helpful to have a cordless nail gun from Ryobi!
I just finished up a faux brick wall with German Schmear in our bedroom and I’m thinking about planking the trey ceiling in there with reclaimed fence boards I found in the trash! Pretty sure the next tool I want to add to my Ryobi collection is the plunge router.
My husband and I are about to tackle our sunroom and without a doubt he could use a new table saw! We hope to convert part of the room into a mud area with built-in cabinets and the poor ole table saw we’ve got now just doesn’t cut it anymore. See what I did there. The tools make all the difference!
the tile saw! we have a leak in our bathtub drain so down come all the 70’s tiles and my hubby and I will be putting up the new tile…a first for us
My wonderful fiance has a pre-wedding project to build our marital bed. We will be married on July 15th so he feels the clock ticking! He is using the Ana White farmhouse bed tutorial, and as we currently do not live together, this will be a very special project indeed! He has his eye on the Ryobi miter saw. It would be a great gift to get him with his birthday coming up June 10th!
As soon as I have our 4th child sometime this week 🙂 and I recover, we are taking on our huge deck! Needs cleaned and restained and sealed- similar to yours- it’s going to be a huge, long job! Power washer is probably the number one thing we need to start the job so we’ll start there!!
OOOH! So many choices! We are working on a fun outdoor playhouse for our boys– so probably a nail gun to help the job go faster! Crossing my fingers!
Husband is into woodworking and he’d love a table saw.r
I would love a compound mitre saw, because I have been building furniture! Also, did you know that Liam and Chris are not twins, and that there is a third Hemsworth actor brother, Luke, but he doesn’t look quite as similar as the other two! I use too many exclamation points!
Building beds for our young boys will probably be the next project. Both kiddos are in cribs right now and I am not looking forward to this transition. A new tool will make me feel better **wink wink**.
Seriously, don’t ask me to choose. A cordless nail gun would be a game changer. I also want to try a band saw; although, I have no idea what I would use it for. More practically, a nice garage fan (Las Vegas summers are brutal) or a cordless blower is top of our list. Leaf blowers are like lawn mowers here: essential. It’s the best way to clean up our xeriscaped yard of rocks.
Our next BIG project is a master bathroom remodel. I think we’ve got all the tools we need for that covered… so I’d be interested in the garage door opener. Our is SO LOUD.
We’re anticipating our first baby and we’d love the circular saw to help build his/her crib!
Oh my gosh, I want their miter saw baddddd. I’ve been drooling over it since we moved into your house. I’ve got a project list for it already. 😉
I want a new sander to upcycle an old coffee table!
So many great options! I’d get a One Corner Sander, a One Compact Drill, a One Brad Nailer, a worklight, maybe the wireless speakers… sooooo many options! Thanks for the opportunity to dream…
We’re new to the DIY game. Until we bought our first house, we were simply bystanders 🙂 My husband got his first Ryobi tools for Christmas and he is in love! (I think he was hooked after reading about your garage opener.) Being a teacher, most of our projects happen in the summer, and we’ve got a list. My first project? Refinishing our wooden coffee table. A sander (though I don’t know which – belt vs. orbit??) would really come in handy. I just finished hand sanding (ouch!) And spray painting our dining chairs. Also, we want to create a built-in look in our living room using pre-made bookshelves. But a finish nailer would help with all the finishing touches. And to finish up our little curb appeal project, we need to update our mailbox and the multitool attachment sounds like the perfect tool for that job. Can you tell we’re still building our tool aresnal?? #first time home buyers #diynewbies
The next Ryobi tool I want is the router. I would like to take our split level island down to one level.
I would love a pressure washer! We have had lots of good projects and I also believe in the power of everything just being clean making you like it better 🙂
We’ve been renters for the past two years, so when we buy a house again I would like a drill set for hanging everything, in particular those pesky curtain rods! Or a hand sander (like the Quarter Sheet Sander) so I can refinish some old pieces of furniture I have been hanging onto.
My next diy is our shoe moulding! our flooring guys out new down when we replaced our floors and it is hideous! So needless to say I’d love a Ryobi air strike brad nailer so I don’t have to lug an air compressor around my house! Love, love your blog!
I want to add crown molding to basically every inch of my house, so the RYOBI cordless finish nailer would make that task so much easier.
We need to patch and fix some walls in our home to get ready to put it on the market. My husband loves tools and working in the garage. Not sure what he needs but I know he would be excited to receive this!!
We just moved in to the tiniest of houses with our FIRST YARD. I’m obviously so excited but we definitely need to build some custom storage options to maximize potential. First up are some yard projects, we want a shed to store our tools safely. I’m eyeing the 10″ mitre saw with stand as a possible prize! https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/products/details/10-sliding-miter-with-stand
The last project I did was sand and stain all the cabinets in my house. My next project is to paint my daughter’s full espresso colored bed frame white. Our garage space is constantly dusty and full of dog hair so I would love a blower but that would only just be the beginning. Anything Ryohi is amazing. My husband thinks I’m nuts.
This would be amazing for finishing our son’s playhouse! Our old table saw is done for, so that’s where this money would probably go! Gotta get that siding and walls up!
We want to DIY a patio table and a pantry in our kitchen. We need all the saws for this 🙂
I would get the 10” PORTABLE TABLE SAW WITH QUICKSTAND. We just purchased an old Victorian house and I have the perfect place to build floor to ceiling library shelves.
Reeeeee-oh-bee?! It can’t be!
I’d loooove to add to my RYOBI collection! Next on our purchase list are garage door openers. And I think I’d have to get those outdoor speakers for our patio…. can’t wait to see those at my Home Depot!
Our new garage would LOVE the garage door opener!
My fiance and I just bought our first house, so it’s house projects galore! We’ll probably start with a few basic paint makeovers, but we need ALL the tools – especially a drill and stud finder for those basic “make it feel like ours” projects.
The table saw, for sure! Although, the 18V ONE+ HYBRID lawn mower looks good too!
Next project is building my son a desk because he likes to draw and play with Play-doh. Will see!
We have many little projects ahead to get the house ready for possible move. I can’t decide if the Combo kit or outdoor tools would be best but all 70 of these tools look amazingly useful. 🙂 thanks for the opportunity.
Guest bath is next and i want a brad nailer
We are working on maintaining our back yard full of old growth trees and would pick a chainsaw so I stop driving two towns over to my dads house to steal his!
We are tackling a mini bathroom remodel and a brad nailer would come in handy!!
As far as projects, I have so many started or about to start there are too many to list. About to start a deck around our pool would be the next big project. A new miter saw would make this project much quicker considering my current saw is on its last leg and doesn’t like to cut anything thicker than a un-pressure treated 1×4.
I need to spruce up my front porch, and the first thing I need is a power washer!
I want to put up some built in bookshelves around my fireplace and I need the Ryobi Miter Saw to do it!
Building a kitchen island! Neeeeed the miter saw.
A router/planer! I own their chainsaw, nail gun, circular saw and drill. (All hand me downs) and I love them to death! Best tool line ever
We are tackling the outside so the Sprayer would be perfect.
https://www.ryobitools.com/outdoor/products/details/ryobi-one-plus-18-volt-chemical-sprayer
My step-son will be moving in with us in the summer so we’re ready to finish our basement! Hello! We officially need a kid zone! A 18V ONE+™ ORBITAL JIG SAW would definitely come in handy!
I am going to decorate our bedrooms this summer, and I have visions of refinishing our entryway floors with a whitewashed scandivian look. I would love the 5 in orbit sander (and it’s not necessarily a tool, but the garage door opener would be awesome!).
Hi Katie! My husband and I just finished building an outdoor table and benches. We learned lots, chief being we both like using the saw, ha! So I’d love the 12 inch sliding miter saw to call my own and to build a firepit bench with! Thanks so much
I would pick a table saw. Ours recently bit the dust and I have several projects that I want to build soon. It would make it really easy to get good accurate cuts.
Our next DIY projects include a bathroom remodel and (hopefully!) building a new bed frame!
We are in the middle of a huge renovation on the first floor of our house – almost everything is going or being redone! Right off the bat: the sander with the bag attached would be super!
Moving next month, so everything is a DIY.
I want the 10″ portable table saw! My husband has been talking about wanting a table saw for years, and being portable will (hopefully) help with storage!
We have a lot of DIY projects in the works but I am most looking forward to redoing the kids’ bathroom. The tabletop tile saw would greatly help with it! I can picture the marble tiles already!
Our next project is some raised garden beds. A circular saw would make it so much easier!
We just finished a big project for our girls and my husband was wishing for a better saw so I think that’s what we would like. The next thing on our list is a folding shelf on top of our front loaders
We are finishing up a bathroom remodel and about to start building benches for our kitchen table. A nice belt sander or finishing gun would be amazing!
We just put in hardwood floors throughout our entire downstairs. But we haven’t put the baseboards and shoe moulding back on, because we’re intimidated by it. Crazy, right, after putting in floors by ourselves? So we would need one of the finish nailers.
We have many indoor and outdoor projects so its hard to nail down just one (see what I did there?!), but I’d like to finish up my son’s big boy room and make one of those big monogram letters because they are so expensive in stores. So a jig saw would be helpful.
Our next project is the back porch. I would love to start with adding a new table and some planters. I think the table saw would be very helpful!
We have so much yard work to do and don’t know where to start! The Ryobi HEdge Trimmer Combo would be so helpful.
I need to make a couple of side tables soon. I could just make it, but it might be more fun to make it.
My brother just bought a MAJOR fixer upper and the ONE+ Ultimate Combo Kit would be a great starter set for his projects!
I am hoping we can build up our kitchen cabinets to the ceiling before painting them! I also want to build side by side tilt out trash cans for both trash & recycling. The 10” TABLE SAW WITH STEEL STAND would be a dream for that!
I’ve been doing fun lamps from things I find at flea markets or putting together my own wood/metal combinations. 🙂 One of the tools missing from my Ryobi arsenal is a router. Why? Because they intimidate the poop out of me! Haha! I’ve tried using one in the long-distant past, and all I did was create burnt edges on a piece of wood. I think it’s time to get out of my fraidy-cat box and give it another go on some of the wooden lamp bases I’m cooking up!
Next project is enlarge closet! To complete the project, I’m going to need everything in the 18V 6 PC. LITHIUM+™ ULTIMATE COMBO KIT!!
Drill or sander. Need to hang a bunch of minor things. A sander to refinish flat surfaces.
We love Ryobi! Top on our list are the hedge trimmer and possibly a router. We already have several of their products and need more! Thanks for a great giveaway!
I was just eyeing the Ryobi line at Home Depot the other day! I love tools, so there are several I’d like to try. Our current project list includes a lot of outdoor items since the weather is finally decent here in western Pennsylvania. I think I’d start with some outdoor tools, like the pressure washer, trimmer or blower.
Does a trimmer count as a power tool? Because we definitely need one so we can tackle our yard full force! lol
our next project is a shiplap wall so I want an airmailed and a blower to blow out all the dust as well as a keg jig to make a farmhouse table.
I want them all. All the tools 🙂
Hi katie
About to have a new baby in 7 weeks. Redoing a playroom for our 4 year old son. Would love to get a miter saw to redo the baseboard and add crown molding to match the rest of the living areas.
Thanks,
Karla
Unfortunately, I don’t have an exciting project, but if you saw my backyard, you would know it’s a needed one!! I need to get a trimmer to tame the wild at our new house. 😀
Hey Katie! Thank you for the pronounciation lesson. I practiced throughout reading the post (and failed most times)!
I am in need of a replacement drill – the Ree-O-Bee would be a major upgrade! Next project is patio install – yippee!!
My son has some ideas for a castle for his Legos creations to explore…And he’s certain we can build it from wood. He’s even drawn up plans. He’s 4 years old 🙂
We definitely need a jig saw…Or a nailer…or many things! 🙂
I’m loving building frames for my daughters nursery. I would love to try a farmhouse table next
I’m getting ready to move to my first place so I’m guessing a miter saw and new drill will be super useful for some basic upgrades and maybe trying my hand at building furniture.
Would love to get my hands on a miter saw and a jig saw! I think they would open up some diy possibilities !!! Would love to create an entry table like the one you made your brother and refinish our dining table into something larger and more farmhouseish
We have a mullet yard. It’s business in front, backwoods-crazy-rat-tail in the back. The areas that people can see from the street are completely kept up…the back, not so much.
So many nooks and crannies that the mower just can’t get to and since we’ve put off making the unseen part of our yard nice for so long, it needs major help! I’d love the One+ trimmer/edger and blower combo as it would be perfect for this horrible project!
We love DIY projects and are delving into a bathroom update. Laying new flooring, baseboard trim, and tiling the tub surround, etc. A compound miter saw would be a perfect companion for that project (the flooring part).
I need everything Ryobi! We have a blower, trimmer and edger. Want the cool garage door thing!
We are in the middle of our ‘next’ DIY! We just moved in March and my husband tore down all of our grandma wallpaper in the master bedroom this weekend. I’ve been spraying all our doors and then I will be painting the trim, ceiling, and wall in there and the hallway! I’ve got my eye on that hedge trimmer and maybe one of their saws.
We have a leaky basement that we need to repair and we need soo many tools for that. Jack hammer, sheet rock tools, power drill. So many things we are coveting. Jigsaw. Impact driver. The list goes on.
I would love the miter saw to help with cuts for out bathroom baseboards and board and batten I want to install.
We love Ryobi! My husband would love a router… Is that, what it’s called? Our next project is to put wood around the playset to mulch it all out.
Hi! This summer we are working on building a playhouse for my daughters. The 6 piece ultimate kit would come in very handy!
We live in a fixer upper, and so are constantly in the middle of a project. At the moment, we’re finishing up a bathroom, moving a laundry room, and re-building our (dangerous and falling apart) deck. Up next is our kitchen and switching the location of a bedroom and bathroom. All on a very, very tight budget. Like, a you-better-love-spaghetti-budget. SO, I would like every tool. All of them.
I have an old square coffee table base and I want to put some cool new wood on top. So I’m pretty sure I will want a power saw (the skill type saw sorry, I know skil is a brand like kleenex but I don’t know what to call it) and maybe a router.
I have little grandboys and they are tool fiends. they are learning a lot of diy from their handy grampa
It’s a toss up for me. I want a tile saw to do my backsplash. I also want a table saw for wood projects, a Brad nailer for crown…. So many things.
I’m planning to DIY a hanging wine rack. I would love the Quarter sheet sander to upgrade a cheapo one i have.
We have bunk beds we are building this summer for our son and trim to hang in all the bedrooms. A bard nailer would help!
Hi Katie! Would love any Ryobi tool maybe a table saw or even a generator would be awesome too!!!!
We have lots of projects to do, but now that it’s almost summer, yard work is at the top of the list. One of the cordless trimmers would be awesome!
We are recent transplants to the ATL area – and we bought our selves a money pit, I mean fixer upper, so our DIY projects are seemingly endless at the moment. I’d like a mitre saw – we have one that belonged to my husband’s grandfather in the 60s and I am very much afraid that we are going to saw our hands off with it every time we use it!
Drat, I prefer Rye… I’m just gonna pretend that no one ever told me the correct prononciation. I’m dreaming of installing white breadboard on my grungy, unfinished basement ceiling. Would the 18GA CORDLESS BRAD NAILER help with that? Without researching how to install a panel ceiling, a cordless pneumatic nailer seems super necessary!
I want to get a saw. I have so many things I would like to try making! Maybe floating shelves.
My next project is a re-do of my bathroom vanity…taking off the doors, adding shelves and a sliding mini barn door, building a wood top and adding two vessel sinks. A Ryobi Airstrike is the tool I’m lusting after!
I want to add molding to our stairs and hallway so I need a nail gun and table saw!
I’m just starting bathroom vanity re-do. The Ryobi Airstrike is the tool of my dreams!
I’m building a Dutch door baby gate/stairway door. I am really needing the router,a drill press, or belt sander! Thanks for your blog, I really enjoy it. We have 4 boys and a little girl, so we can relate to a crazy life!
Our back patio… I’d love a tile saw or a sander! Thank you!
Definitely need this for our fence project!
We’re building shelves in our craft room! I’d love the outdoor tools though!
We are about to finish a room in our basement and would love the table saw!
Yes!!! We have several rooms we want to add trim to and crown molding. The miter saw would be awesome!
We currently in the process of buying our first house, and we don’t own any power tools, so the starter drill would be a great tool to start off with.
Our next project is cleaning out our garden (currently FULL of leaves and debris) so we can lay stone. The Ryobi blower would be a big help!
Next up in our whole house renovation is the stairs, ripping out the carpet and restraining the treads. I could definitely use a cordless sander for this project.
My next project? Well, it should be putting the baseboards back on in our laundry room. We retiled that room when my son was born and haven’t put the moulding back on yet. Also, my son is 5 now.
I’m planning on putting up shiplap in my laundry room. I don’t have many tools yet, but this would help me get started!
Wow first and foremost amazing garage!! My next diy project is an outdoor bench and table. I have a smaller garage so having a ryobi portable table saw would be great.
Thank you,
William
I would love to add some sconces and make use of the drill for that project:)
My next project is a padded headboard for my master bedroom. A jigsaw is on my wish list.
I would get the circular saw! I need to make my entry table since I don’t like anything out there (or can’t afford it!).
Miter Saw!!! We Recently moved into a new (to us) house & have LOTS of projects to make it our home including adding / replacing door & window trim and fixing up our VERY run-down screened porch.
I’m working on re-finishing my basement, so really, all of the tools would come in handy; however, one of the next projects is board and batten in the game room so the brad nailer would be awesome.
Our garage door has been on the outs for 6 months and I decided on day 1 the ryobi garage door was what dreams were made of, the amount of options for it is mind blowing!!
I want to build a free little library! We would probably want a saw (or 2)!
Would to have a cordless brad nailer. I am considering doing a board and batten wall and this would come in handy.
I am going to rip the awful carpet off of my stairs and beautify them with wood treads and a runner. I need that bandsaw for my artistic dreams.
I’d love the sander sO I can refinish the dresser in my baby’s nursery!
Building a toy chest/bookcase for our living room right now. Toys everywhere, it’s time! When the babes is napping we build. The garage door motor would be amazing. As you know building in a garage, in the Georgia heat is no joke. Having that and being able to attach a fan would be amazing!
Hand sander- been wanting to refinish our kitchen table to stain it a darker color.
Our next project is turning our laundry room closet into a mudroom! We would LOVE to get a nail gun, a miter saw, or a router…basically all of the things Right now we borrow from other people but it would be awesome to have the tools in our own basement!
Definitely just blew my mind with the pronunciation!
Anywho…our next project is to build a loft bed for our soon to be high schooler! Let’s take a moment and cry about how kids grow up… ok, thank you. He is currently on a mattress on the floor, so we need to get this one done quickly! Loving the blog, Katie!
Redoing our guest bathroom so a tile saw would be helpful as our master will follow!
hi, We always have a ton of projects going on at our house, and our power drill just died, so we defiantly replace that! Thanks, love your blog!!!
This is tough but I finally narrowed it down to either a miter saw or nail gun. I just finished my daughter’s bathroom and her new little condo still needs a lot of work … crown molding, base molding … bookcases … floating shelves … I could go on and on.
My next project is updating our exterior. This is our first spring and summer in a new home. There is a lot of old landscaping that needs removal and updating. The tool I would be interested in is the outdoor trimmer edger. And the right angle driver (that would totally come in handy). PS I love your blog. My oldest son is Weston’s age. So life is somewhat similar for us.
Next diy project is a new roof. Get to try my hand at being my own general contractor. My tool of choice would most likely be the sliding compound miter saw, though the hand planer would be a nice addition as well.
We are redoing our garage and I would love to throw our existing garage door openers in the trash (we have 2 garage doors). They are slow and loud and the doors shudder so badly when they’re being opened or closed. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have Ryobi garage door openers. I think the “add ons” are such a genius idea, I know my husband would love having the speaker so that he can blast his music while working on his car.
Kind of bummed that I didn’t realize the ONE line existed when I started buying tools. I am a beginner DIYer so I have a jigsaw, sander, and drill. I would LOVE a full circular saw though. May as well get the One + 18 volt one, so maybe I can start collecting those tools instead!
Lots of DIY projects going on right now! The next is working with my mom on finishing her basement. We are planning on putting on trim for the walls. Looking at purchasing the Ryobi miter saw!
We just bought a house so I am ready for ALL the projects. Probably a desk first though. So a new circular saw and a better drill would be nice.
I’d love to get the cordless finish nailer. No lugging around the air compressor! It’d be great to work on all my arts and crafts projects I’ve got pinned. I’ve been wanting to make some outdoor signs lately…
I’m about to tackle new baseboards so I’m dying for a good nail gun!
We just bought a house and are currently trying to fix ALL THE THINGS! A miter saw would be awesome!
Cordless Nail Finisher for crown molding in ALL the rooms!
I’ve been making heart eyes at the cordless brad nailer for some time! We’ve been collecting the supplies to retrofit all of our kitchen shelves into drawers so I can finally reach the things in the back corners.
The Orbit Sander and 10″ Miter Saw + Laser to make a bench for our very blank and sad front porch.
The 18V One+One 10 in. brushless dual bevel sliding miter saw looks amazing. Thanks for sharing this site. I’ve never heard of them before.
Definitely a drill, without a doubt. I have never had a drill that I can count on. I like the idea of the interchangeable battery power. I need to do everything tho, so a drill seems like a great starting point.
I would love to put up wainscoting in my office. I’d love a cordless bradnailer!
I’m still jealous of your Ryobi garage door openers and would love to tackle that at our house as soon as we can – ours are so loud that they wake our children up in the morning when my husband leaves for work! 🙂
We need a wet saw for a tiling project!
Laundry room…that you have to walk through to enter our home…we have 4 boys…and all the stuff of a family of six…plus a dog. Our drill keeled over and died at the thought of the potential work involved so that’s what we’ll be needing!
Thanks!
My next big project is painting my kitchen cabinets. I would choose a sander because I am not looking forward to sanding them all by hand!
Building a sectional for my new covered back patio! A new nail gun would be awesome!!
We love our Ryobi one+ tools for both our yard and home improvement projects. I would love to use the ryobi brad nailer with hanging some faux shiplap in our bathroom.
A pressure washer to clean our patio and the outside of our house!
My next project will probably be making over a dresser since mine is falling apart and I cringe at the price of furniture these days! And since my parents are moving out of state, I need a sander of my own since I won’t be able to borrow theirs anymore, as well as any other tool that my Dad is taking with him. He has everything!
Our next project is to make a king size platform bed! I’m really excited about getting the belt sander, to make the boards as smooth as butter!
How to choose? I think we would get a One+ chainsaw because we live in an area with a lot of huge trees (gorgeous) but sometimes they fall and the chainsaw would help out immensely. Thank you!
Next project is closet shelving, so I’d love to get a Ryobi brad/finish nailer.
We need to put back our basement bedroom that was flooded last June! A framing nailer would be awesome. Thanks for the pronounciation correction! I was saying it wrong too!
Re-doing our garage now. The Ryobi garage door opener for sure!
I want to do custom shelving for my master bedroom closet! I would buy the Ryobi Miter Saw, ryobi sander, and anything else needed for the project. I can’t wait! ❤️
I’m a loyal Ryobi fan as well! ✋ I’ll be tackling floor tile soon, something I’ve never done before, so I have my eyes on one of their wet saws!
Ha! I’ve been saying it all wrong also. When .y mom passed in 03 she, I inherited a few handy tools including a Ree-Oh-Bee drill. I’ve used that thing on everything from hanging a heavy mirror to installing blinds, even helped a friend hang a beautiful Pottery Barn Kids Monique Lhuillier Daux Crown Cornice for her daughter. But, somewhere along the way, the cord was lost. So, I would replace mom’s drill with a new 2017 version!
Hello!
My next project will be an X style base farmhouse table that my son and I will be building together! The tool I would like to see/use would be the 18v palm sander, would make the sanding process easier since 2 of us will be in a small shop!
Best Regards,
Rick
A tile saw would really help with my bathroom remodel. Thanks for a great giveaway!
We’re building a retaining wall and stairs for our deck. The random orbital sander would be cool. So would the multi tool. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
We are in the process of putting a beadboard ceiling on our porch. We could use the finish nailer because the one we have is air powered and the air hose from the compressor doesn’t reach from the garage to the porch so I will have to stand and hold the portable tank while the nailer is being used! It would be amazing to have the cordless, battery operated Ryobi.
10in miter saw with stand!!! We are getting ready to build 2-45″ x 90″ tables and 8-2 person benches for our new outdoor patio area….aaannnnd we literally max our tool arsenal out at a power drill. We have family members who are generously letting us borrow the tools we need, but I would love to start collecting some of our own! Hoping this is the first of many builds!
My garage door is possessed by ghosts, so I would be over the moon about getting the ultra-quiet garage door opener! Hooray!
Awesome!! I am hoping to get a planer…..I have some 100 yr old barn wood I would love to put up on my wall, just not sure which one…LOL!!!
We are installing crown molding in our master bedroom and a cordless nailer would be sweet! 🙂
Maybe a sawzall…don’t have one of those yet! Just starting to build my tool collection.
We are finishing a small space in our basement for a playroom for the kids so any of these tools would be super helpful!! Especially the nail gun or screw driver!! Thanks for such an awesome giveaway Katie!
Hi! Our next DIY project is a farmhouse table and bench. The portable table saw would be a great help to us!
We also bought the garage door opener (with the help of your review) so the accessories are next on our list.
We are getting ready to tile a bathroom so I would love a Ryobi tile saw!
I want so badly to put up wainscoting in multiple areas in my house. And finish putting in the crown molding! I am so wanting a cordless brad nailer to help me with these projects. The thought of having to get an air compressor and cables and being attached to this loud running thing with limited reach is so unappealing. (Also a Miter saw would be mighty handy as well!)
I just recently moved into a new house and I have a huge screened in porch! My next project is to build an outdoor sectional couch. The 18V ONE+ONE™ 10 IN. BRUSHLESS DUAL BEVEL SLIDING MITER SAW would be great for this project!
We need a saw for deck building! 🙂
I am currently working on a pallet wall in my son’s room. (Borrowimg my dad’s miter saw…) I LOVE to decorate and build using my own hands and talents. However, it is sometimes hard when you don’t have all the correct tools. I am a Home Depot junkie and I have been salivating over Ryobi’s 12″ sliding laser compound miter saw. Oh the things I could do! Like a new bathroom vanity, a headboard and bed frame. The list is endless, we have a new house with a blank slate and I am changing my decor from traditional to coastal casual. Katie, I am inspired by you and eventually want a tool wall like yours one day!
I’ll really want to build a bar in my basement. If I won I’d get the belt sander and a circular saw so that I could make my own bar top.
I am tackling redoing the wood work in our home and would love to have a Ryobi sander for the project!
Lasy year we had our flooring replaced in our lower level and the crew discovered that all of our base mouldings are glued to the wall so they couldn’t take the flooringredients under it. Our budget barely allowed the flooring we didn’t have the cash to hire them to cut quarter rounds to fit to cover the gap. It’s been annoying me ever since and I don’t have the tools to complete the job. That’s where the. 18v ONE + ONE 10″ brushless dual bevel sliding mitre saw (I feel like I should bark like Tim Taylor after I say that) would be the tool of dreams…or even its less fancy 18v basic mitre saw. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would love a sander to help with my furniture redos!
We would love to add to our Ryobi collection (we have a drill drill from when they weren’t lime green that is still going strong!). We have recently gotten excited about building and could use some circular and jig saws!
Our projects are never-ending! Redoing our porch posts is next. I’d love to give my husband a router so he can add some finishing details to our projects.
Oops! I’ve been saying it wrong too. Oh well…..I still love Ryobi tools, no matter how it’s pronounced! I’m doing sooooo many projects around the house right now, plus I’m going to build my daughter and her family a farmhouse table, so a table saw, a miter saw or a sander would be the most handy tools I could use right now. What an awesome giveaway!
We are building step tools for our boys so the drill and sander would be perfect for this little project.
We are making a media console in the coming days, followed by a barn door for the bedroom/bathroom transition in our master. I just saw the cordless sander and am super jazzed about that!
We’re going to build a shed this summer (for ALL of our outdoor tools!) and that six tool kit would make it so much easier!!
We are replacing our deck and need a drill that can drill into concrete to attach the deck to our house.
I just finished installing new trim (with a newly purchased Ryobi brad nail gun and jigsaw for cutouts). I’d love the Bevel Sliding Miter Saw so that I don’t have to borrow one next time!
We are finishing up a new craft room. I would love one of the sanders!
I love working in my yard, but there are some brush and bushes that I can’t cut up with my hand saw. The ryobi hedge trimmer has been on my wish list!!
http://m.homedepot.com/b/Outdoors-Outdoor-Power-Equipment-Trimmers-Edgers-Hedge-Trimmers/Ryobi/N-5yc1vZbx9rZ1aw
I would like some cabinets over my washer and dryer. I think a router would be helpful with that project!
That garage door opener is the coolest thing!!! So, since our garage door opener has not worked for a year now, I think that would be a good choice for me.
I’d love to purchase their miter saw! Our next project will be updating our office and we will need to cut pieces of wood down to make our bookshelves in there look like built ins!
We are in need of the fixed base router, as we have plans to build out a vanity top, and some bedroom nightstands! a router would be perfect to give our wood a decorative edge!
My son is about to purchase his first house that needs LOTS of work, new kitchen tile, new floors, new bathroom – you name it! I’d love to give him some of the basic tools to get him started: drill, circular saw, recip saw, etc.
I need a sander, I’ve got old furniture to strip and refinish.
Re-build front porch and deck. I would love a cordless nailer.
We have a fixer-upper so basically I want ALL THE TOOLS… but a miter saw would be great for some fence repair projects we have coming up!
I’m about to start building a new camping drawer system for the back of my 4Runner (similar to: https://i.redd.it/zie7952mtdhx.jpg). My family loves to go camping, and I love to design and build things. This drawer system stays in the vehicle and holds: a fridge, stove, pots/pans, silverware, plates, water pump, and even the KITCHEN SINK! Everything we would need to go camping in luxury is always at the ready to satisfy any adventure whim we have. (There’s also a compartment for some tools=D).
I’ve had my eye on the 6pc kit for a long time now! The cordless circular saw would be great for breaking down large sheets of plywood, the multi-tool would be perfect for making precise plunge cuts, the reciprocating saw will slice through all the aluminum framing pieces, and the drill/impact driver will drive all the pocket holes I could ever need!
Our next project is replacing the vanity, countertop and sink in the master bath. We would love a right angle drill!
I didn’t even need to look at the web site. We’ve been thinking about adding horizontal planks (now called shiplap) to our master bedroom for a while and I’ve been checking out the nail guns in the store. We also would love the leaf blower for outside. Thanks for the giveaway Katie and Ryobi!!
Next project is a wood accent wall in my son’s playroom. Would love a Ryobi Airstrike for that project!
We already have some Ryobi tools and would love to add to our toolbox – specifically, we have some furniture that we’ve received from family/friends that need a little sprucing up. I think the 5 in. Random Orbit Sander could come in handy!! My husband would love the portable table saw as he helps out with everyone else’s projects!
My next project is a “shiplap” wall in our bathroom and I’d love to have the Ryobi AirStrike nail gun to use for it!
A power saw would suit me just fine! Planning several projects that will need wood pieces cut! Thanks Ryobi!
We just finished building a new laundry room and are getting ready to turn our old laundry closet into storage for all of my small appliances and baking supplies. We could really use a right angle drill.
I would love the scroll saw! I like to cut curves into wood for projects and that would make it sooo much easier!
Router? Reciprocating saw? Planer? Ack, I can’t decide! We are about to move, though, so I know any and all Ryobi tools would be a welcome addition to the starter kit we have!
I am halfway through with refinishing my stairs and the 18v corner cat finish sander would help me greatly.
I have been pronouncing it wrong too and I even attended their session at Haven! I would love any of the saws, because our next project is building a potting bench (I pinned yours for inspiration!) this summer.
Hi Katie!
My wife alerted me to this fancy giveaway (she loves your blog) and I am super stoked about it! We just moved into a house and our mower is about to bite the dust. We’d love to give the Ryobi battery powered lawn mower a try and go green! Thanks!
Boone Cowan
I would love one of their bench grinders!
I am just getting into lathe work, and the grinder would allow me to sharpen my chisels at home!
Thanks for the opportunity. We just finished a major remodel on our home and have to work on reclaiming our garage after it has been a storage unit. Our garage opener is on its last legs. Help us replace it with one of Ryobi’s fancy one that has accessories! Camera! Wow!
We are soon going to start building this bad mamajama – http://www.ana-white.com/2011/09/farmhouse-storage-bed-storage-drawers
and so we could really use anything Ryobi’s got to offer. Our tools are definitely due for an upgrade, but I’m ultimately thinking that we could use another 12V drill/driver so that we can both do things at the same time without passing the drill back and forth.
I would love a cordless drill, have some curtain rods that need to be hung!
My husband got me my Ryobi drill for Christmas and I would love to add the 18V ONE+™ 18GA CORDLESS BRAD NAILER to my tool kit. Our next project is turning our 1950’s outdated 3 season front porch into a year round front entry/foyer. It’s going to be a tear down and rebuild and the brad nailer will be a life saver with all of the trim work.
I have been thinking of buying a table saw for months now. Ryobi’s portable 10′ table saw would fit perfectly in my garage! I want to build some shelving units and maybe a cabinet or two.
Currently working on mudroom built ins and would love a miter saw for more projects!
We are starting to redo our kitchen and could definitely use a new table saw!
A nail gun. The trim in our whole house needs to be replaced.
We’re either going to replace the deck or replace some pieces of siding. Both are rot issues. As for the tool that I want. I just want ALL THE TOOLS! Is that possible???
We just moved into a new house and our basement storage room is in need of some shelving. It’s all brick so we need an hammer drill! I always love a good giveaway, but I’d really love to see who won and a follow-up on what they did! Thanks for hosting.
Adding crown molding – I’d love a miter saw or a brad nailer!
We are starting a garage redo, and plan to build cubbies/lockers. We also plan to extend the deck this summer. I would love a router and the garage opener.
We are getting ready to replace our wooden fence and decking and I would love to win the 18V ONE+™ ANGLED 15 GA FINISH NAILER to make our job a lot easier!!
I would love to replace the baseboards and door trim in our whole house. The cordless brad nailer would make that so much easier.
One tool we don’t own, but I think would make a great addition, would be the finish nailer. We’re going to try making a king size bed and dining room table this year, as well as adding wainscoting to our hallway. I think this would be a handy tool for those jobs.
We just moved into a new house so there are countless projects! But I love woodworking so I’d probably put it towards a planer. Thanks!
Would like to install some molding in our bathroom, and a Ryobi miter saw would be just the thing. Thanks!
Headboard! Jigsaw!
Hi Katie! We love working on old cars so the sander or those LED cable lights sure would come in handy!
I would love the orbital sander to refinish my daughter’s bedroom furniture!
My husband, two daughters and I will be helping to build sets for the fall musical with our high school’s theatre department. We’re big fans of the Ryobi One+ system – my husband would love the new palm router, and he owes my younger daughter the drill/driver/battery starter kit.
We moved into our house 15 years ago and it has required lots of renovations! No wonder it was sold to us at such a good price!!! We are in the middle of replacing our wooden floors and have been borrowing a miter saw and a table saw from my boss. These are definitely 2 tools we need to own!
I’m planning a tv console next, and that compound miter saw with the stand would be a lifesaver!
I too have been saying it wrong for YEARS!
I am begging my husband to get a jigsaw so we can make your paint-it-pink growth chart you did a while back…but he just keeps obsessing over your garage opener so we would have to wrestle to make the final call!!!!
Hello! We are going to be building my daughter a new bed! We have a few Ryobi tools, but would love a ryobi sander! Our old one just quit on us. ☹️
We finished building a farmhouse table, and are going to be making a barn door for the laundry room. It would be great to have the ryobi brad nailer!
I would definitely want the miter saw. I have an old corner display cabinet type thing I pulled off the street and it needs a new base. Right now, I have no way to cut wood to make one! 🙂
Or I’d like a power washer to clean off my grandma’s back porch and lawn furniture! 🙂
I’d love a cordless drill. I’m installing French doors into my patio!
I’m looking at adding a small deck onto my house and would love to get one of the Ryobi circular saws!
A reciprocating saw would be awesome to disassemble pallets to make a potting bench.
Although there are several we could use, I would like the blower/trimmer. It looks like it would make yard work much less painful!
I REALLY want to build a sofa table and outdoor potting bench. When I do anything now, I have to take it over to my parents to use their miter saw, make all the cuts, then bring it back home to build. I would LOVE to have the 18V 10 in Brushless Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw. I would have it at my beck and call!
I would love to have a miter saw to add some more substantial crown molding to our living room!
I too have been mispronouncing. Thanks for helping me look like I know what I’m talking about I would ADORE new garage door openers. I have an old fixer upper and both garage door openers broke a week after closing…which was a year ago.
My next diy project will be building a farmhouse table. A brushless sander would be very helpful!!
Currently working on side tables and a coffee table for our living room. Would love a Ryobi table saw to make the project go quicker and smoother! Thanks for making this giveaway happen!
We’re creating a work room so that we can do our next big project. We’re also extending our laundry room to create a mud room section with built ins. The two things needed the most is a second drill (so I can help) and a Quietstrike would be awesome! A belt sander would also be helpful so I don’t need to sand things by hand anymore.
Our home is 110 years old, yhere is always a project looming! Although, in trying to prepare for the summer, we are making an outdoor table and some planters.
I would love a sander and plainer. The power inflater is pretty darn cool too!
Love the Ryobi One+ system! We have a tiny lakeside cottage with no electricity, and the cottage needs a ton of improvements. The One+ system lets us work on projects without having to turn on the generator. Love it! Right now, we’re in need of a sander to get the deck back in shape. Thanks Katie!
We will be building some built in shelves for our kitchen and living room. A miter saw would be fantastic
Hi Katie! My boyfriend and I are recently moved into a fixer upper, your blog is so inspirational to me for the whole process! Right now, we’re working on our second guest bedroom/my future home office. Hopefully our next project will be making me a beautiful new desk to work at! A nail gun would make life a lot easier so that we can stop borrowing my boyfriend’s dad’s 🙂 thank you so much for the opportunity and all the inspiration! xo
I want the power inflator!
We recently bought my grandmothers home, which we love and are excited to continue making family memories here; but the home needs some (ok a lot) of updating. The first big project we will be tackling is main bathroom. The Ryobi tile saw would come in handy as we re-tile the floor of that bathroom (and then of course sometime down the road, the other bathrooms!).
I would love a miter saw from Ryobi but the truth is, all their tools look amazing! My next project is to build some sort of frame/holder to display all of my kids’ karate belts.
Our next big project is our garage. We want to make a work bench and shelves. We already have some basic Ryobi tools, but a new garage opener with the retractable cord attachment would be amazing!
Belt sander for woodworking projects– like building an end table, which is in the plans!
We’re gonna get busy building our dream deck! A miter saw would be amazing so we don’t have to do as much renting!!
My next DIY project will be a new entryway table, once I find one I that I like. But, I also like to use my Ryobi tools for smaller projects and crafting. I would love to add a scroll saw or palm router to my collection!!
We just moved into a new-to-us home (and our first home as a married couple!) which is in desperate need of some personality, so I’m thinking some board and batten in one room and adding some fake ship lap around the sad 90’s black and gold fireplace insert in another. I’d love a nail gun to help me get through these projects!
I’d love to tackle a re-do of our deck and would love to get the sliding miter saw!
Our tool collection is very limited, but the thing that stands out the most is the portable table saw for a variety of projects.
This summer my husband and I are tackling the job of painting our kitchen cabinets. They’re decent maple cabinets, but have an orange hue with a glaze on them which will be a real challenge to sand off. We would love the Ryobi Corner Cat Finish Sander to help with all the sanding we’ll have to do.
I have a bunch of projects in mind for my hubby to build (don’t tell him haha). I would love for him to have a planer since I’m a sucker for nice and even surfaces <3
I need the Ryobi garage setup you have so I can have a super awesome workspace to do projects, and for all my neighbors to come hangout in our garage and drink 🙂
My next DIY project will be to make over our laundry closet. I would pick a saw to help make some shelves! Either a new circular or a jig saw!
Glad you sounded it out, I was also RYE-Oh-Bee! I would choose the brad nailer.
I’m working on making our closet spaces more useful, not a flashy project but a desperately needed one! Also, I’d love to have a miter saw!
I’m working on building some frames for artwork in our son’s new room. An orbital sander would be PERFECT to help me smooth out the wood without burning myself on sandpaper. I also would love to have my very own router. 😀
We are working on the living room! Had flood damage in there so we are now framing out the fireplace, trim, etc. A miter saw would be AMAZING!
We are attempting to build our own mid mod style wooden chairs and think we’ll need a new router to complete the project!
Oh man, I’ve been crushing hard on the Garage Door Opener since you featured it in your garage makeover last year! My husband just recently became self-employed, and our garage has turned into storage central. So anything we can do to make that space functional, organized, and cleaner is high on the priority list.
Our next DIY projects are building storage shelves in our garage and Murphy beds for the guest room. Our sander has sent better days so we would love a new one to speed up our projects. Maybe then I’ll even tackle refinishing our kitchen table.
We are in desperate need of a table saw!! Ours is 50 years old and super heavy.!! Each time I need to cut I have to drag that thing out and lift it up!
I would love the brad nailer (HATE using the air compressor – the noise makes a job so UNenjoyable) and a blower to clean up the garage after a project. Yes – I know I want a nailer and a blower – SO MANY INAPPROPRIATE JOKES!
I would LOVE a new Quietstrike Driver for all the DIY we’re doing for our new nursery! Our oldie (B&D) just isn’t cutting it these days.
weedeater.
a new garden bed. I’d love a new trimmer for the lawn!
My husband and I are about to take on a built in/recessed entertainment center! This will be the biggest project we have ever done and it does make me nervous! Wish us luck
Woops I forgot to addo that we need an extra drill. It makes project go by smoother when you have an extra!
A finish nailer so that I can do grid walls in the living room and bedroom.
Building hive stands for our growing apiary; a miter saw would really be the bee’s knees!!
My next project is refinishing some built in bookcases. I really need a nice hand sander.
We are getting ready to build a deck and so many of these tools would come in handy! it would be a dream to win!
HI! I would get the most use out of a narrow crown stapler like this: 18V ONE+™ 18GA CORDLESS NARROW CROWN STAPLER like this: 18V ONE+™ 18GA CORDLESS NARROW CROWN STAPLER Oh the things I could staple! 7 roman shades for our new house, 2 upholstered benches, 1 reupholstered couch, the list goes on and on…
We have lots of projects ahead. One is beadboard around the kitchen island. We’d love a Ryobi pneumatic finish nailer. I can’t even calculate the time it would save.
Circular saw! I am hoping to tackle rebuilding our side stairs this summer, and my hand saw just won’t cut it.
Well besides getting ready to complete the ultimate diy project (our first baby is due in three weeks!) We’ve been drooling over the garage door opener ever since you installed yours. Our motor and door are broken and using a pole to hold to door up isn’t really cutting it with the safety standards!
currently working on a dresser restaining it putting new hardware on it and then we are building a deck for the pool for us old guys to get in Ryobi table saw is something i need be very useful
My family (mom, sister, 2 daughters and me) went in together to buy an old house on the lake. I have several Ryobi tools for the same reason you do, but I have yet to get a brad nailer. There are MILES of base molding and quarter round to install – help a gal out, won’t you?
Our next project is building a mudroom bench with storage and hooks for hanging coats. We’d like to win a palm router.
My next DIY project is a hutch makeover… but if I have a miter saw, I’d have lots more projects to add to my list!
Just bought my first home and would love a electric drill to help me with my project of wainscotting my living room/dining area.
Our next diy project will probably be either painting our back deck or replacing our front porch! I would love to win a miter saw to help us cut the wood for the front porch!
Katie! Amazing work!
I have been working with a measly 3 gallon pancake compressor for my Brad Nailer, I see the Ryobi nailer and would love to put it to good use on an upcoming built in shelf and cabinet project! Keep up the great work!
Our next DIY is getting the nursery ready for our first baby but instead of a tool for that, I’d say the trimmer-edger/blower combo to speed up outdoor work so my hubby can get back inside to do nursery things!!
We just bought our first house (!) and could really use a good drill to replace my $18 Harbor Freight one that can hold a charge for all of 10 minutes. Lol. The 18V Lithium Ion Drill is a dream.
Our next DIY is building a shed to add some much needed storage space! The most helpful new tool would be the table saw! Thanks for the chance to win!
My wife and I have built quite a few home projects, thanks to Ryobi’s One+ tools! Our next project will be a set of cornhole boards, which we need the One+ Ryobi Jigsaw to do!
I would love to build a window seat for my bay window. I need a new saw, nail gun, and sander before I even begin to tackle this project!!
I’ve been wanting the cordless finish nailer to make replacing the old, ugly trim in my house a bit easier.
We just finished hacking some Ikea drawers to make a desk. And my awesome husband literally built our daughter’s bed based off a West Elm design. Up next, is probably replacing drywall that got wet in our last big storm. Sad face. He’d love to have the table saw!
Need a plunge router for new butcher block countertops!!
I have a lot of wood working projects on my to do list, and would love the power sander to help me out!
We have to install all new baseboards in our addition. I’d love a pneumatic nailer. It would make the job so much easier!
My next DIY project is turning the space under our stairs to the basement into a tiny little office corner. I am going to build some floating shelves–taking the tutorial from your sitting room shelves–so the drill and driver would be really helpful to have at home. Or one of their smaller circular saws.
The cordless brad nailer is definitely at the top if my list! We’ve been slowly re-doing our entire house over the last three years (built 1954 and was original owner. Pink carpet and brown/yellow/orange linoleum everywhere!) Our next project is what will be the family room, which currently houses a pool table. But a 10 month old finally convinced my husband that we need more living space more than we need a massive game haha.
My next projects involve redoing the deck and railings on our creek bridge…so nail gun!
This giveaway couldn’t have come at a better time! We just closed on a house and my list of projects is mounting! Poor Hubby… The first project has to be power washing the house… it is a sound house but it is in area where there is lot of construction so super dusty. Inside the house a new Farmhouse Table is up first, I am sure we need a new sander to complete that project!
A miter saw would be amazing! This summer we are going to redo our extremely outdated powder room and install new flooring.
An outdoor multi-level planter for the back porch. Lost access to the really good tools in the divorce – soooo I would spring for the Ultimate Combo Kit.
My next project is a set of shelves for the nursery! I am dying to get a mitre saw but it hasn’t been in the budget.
Any reason my comment says it’s still awaiting moderation? I didn’t see my comment posted, so I was going to leave another one.
I’d love a miter saw! My husband is hoping to create a huge built-in unit for our living room 🙂
We would like to build some furniture with salvaged wood and the hand planer would be a great addition to our toolkit!
Next up on our project list is adding a deck. Huge project and will need lots of tools. Top priority would maybe be the circular saw.
A pressure washer for the deck and siding. It’s been getting so gross and will need some love ASAP.
Would love to have a drill to create a frame to stretch some grass cloth art on for our Polynesian getaway spot aka the back porch.
Would love the 18-Volt ONE+ 3-speed Impact Driver. Planning on updating the tile surround in one of our bathrooms and will need the driver to install new Hardie board!
We’re working on getting our backyard under control. The reciprocating saw would help us take down the condemned tree house (when you push on it the whole thing sways).
Hi, Katie! My next project is a buffet for my dining room. I would love to get the router. I think it will add some nice touches to a newbies project
Thanks for the chance to win. Very generous of you!
Our DIY basement remodel is finally done so we are moving outside!! New raised cedar planters are next on the list 🙂
I’d love one of the airstrike brad nail guns. I would use it to build a herringbone bench.
Awesome!! I would LOVE their miter saw or a new drill. We are starting to remodel our bathroom..by ourselves..terrifying..
A new saw! We desperately need one for all the projects we have around the house!
I will be moving into a duplex at the beginning of next month and since I will be responsible for lawn care I have actually been looking at buying a Ryobi electric lawnmower! Not sure if that qualifies as a power tool but it is on my list! ☺
Would love the brad nailer, to make some cedar door mats.
We have had a horrible time finding a console table large enough to go under our 70″ TV. They usually are just slightly too short. I would like to build a farmhouse console with sliding doors. A new sander would be ideal to help finish this quickly. Your ideas are always so cute Katie.
My husband’s been dying for an impact drill, he’s a tool lover! Our next big project is a shed in our backyard! Cement is poured, waiting for the build to start!
Our next DIY is to finish off our basement. It was half finished when we bought the house 12 years ago, but we still haven’t touched the unfinished side. Our kids are now entering highschool and we need a place for them to hang out with friends. The brawn half of our DIY duo says he could use a new cordless drill as his old one bit the dust.
My husband does all the power tool DIYing around our house 😀 I just supply him with the honey- do list. Right now he’s working on a table for the playroom. As far as tool on his wish list, it’s longer than I can count.
Our next project is to replace our garage doors and I’ve got my eye on that fancy garage door opener!
Give me allllllll the tools! We moved into a house (7 years ago) that didn’t have trim around the windows and open doorways So I would love the cordless nailer and chop saw to complete those projects!
Would love to have a Ryobi table saw. We are slowly updating our 1912 craftsmen house and will be DIYing some open shelves in the kitchen and making some shelves look like built ins to hide a plumbing stack that needs to go in the middle of our dining room .
I have totally been pronouncing it wrong, oops!
We badly need to sand and restain our front door. Our sander died a couple of years ago and the door was probably due for it even back then, oops.
Thanks for the chance!
my next diy project is building a bed for our guest room. I would love to have a palm router to add some fancy moulding to it.
We are doing a sitting room just like you! I’d like a saw or a power sander. Tough choices!
I’m a high school drama teacher so we are building sets! We could use a sander!
My next DIY project is building a duck pen for my six Khaki Campbell ducklings. I don’t have any power tools of my own (I have to borrow them from my dad) so i think the ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Ultimate Combo Kit (6-Tool) would be a great starter set. We also have a lot of things to do around the house so a nice variety of tools would be greatly appreciated!
We’re taking down a wall of 70’s paneling and mirrors and going to do some strips of plywood to look like shiplap. I pretty much NEED the brad nailer for this project!
I’m entering for my husband, who is doing an amazing job on our rennovation house. Next project? It could be trim, board & batten in the dining room, tiling a shower, or cutting down a few trees…who knows. He’s always looking to add to his tool collection, but I know he needs a new table saw since the current handmedown is leaving burn marks on all of the new trim.
I am building a corner tv console for a friend. I would really love to have a Ryobi band saw!
The list of projects and list of power tools I want is endless!!! My hubby and I are big DIY-ers. I would love to build a new dining room table and would looove a table saw.
We just finished redoing our garage and would love the garage auto opener. Our next project is our backyard, gardening, redoing our pool (tiles) and rebricking. We are also planning on redoing the entire master bathroom. There are plenty of tools I could use for all projects, lawn mower, power washer, sander and saw.
Sorry girl! There were so many at once, I couldn’t approve them fast enough! It should be there now.

I want to make all the farmhouse signs! I would love a 12″ sliding compound miter saw.
We are remodeling our pantry, which now has an 18″ door. We are opening it completely up AND
putting in full width roll-outs and double doors. Would love to have the garage door opener.
I am buying a new house, some tools would definitely help me set-up the home. Keeping fingers crossed!
I would gift it to my son who is a DIYer.
Any new tool is welcome at my home as we like to DIY.
My next DIY project is to rip out a 65 year old bedroom window and replace it along with the framing, window sill, and all the trim.
A Ryobi 12 inch sliding miter saw would make the cuts easy!
I need to repair our deck and install some crown. I don’t think I ever do 1 project at at a time! Anyway, I would love the miter saw with a 10″ blade.
We are planning to sell our finally complete home, to move to a home in a better school district. The home were going to has colored trim, FOR DAYSSSSS. So the paint sprayer would be clutch to tackle alllll the doors and trim!
My next DIY project is building my son a big Lego table, but my next “big” project is to build cabinets for the kids playroom.
I really want to try the palm router. And the garage door opener.
per your page suggestion we bought the garage door opener, and loved it so much we got the ultimate combo kit of 6 tools. we are getting ready to make a play set (table and chairs and shelves) for our little one and would LOVE the Ryobi vacuum you featured in your garage makeover! now that my husbands new hobby is cutting anything and everything… needed or not… my new hobby (by default) has been sweeping up sawdust 🙁
I need to put some storage up on the basement walls so I’d love the hammer drill.
As our house reaches the 20 year mark, we have several spots of framing around our doors that need to replaced. I think the 18V ONE+™ MITER SAW KIT would be perfect for us especially because of it’s portability!
I am diy’ing all the time at my house, so it’s hard to say just one big project. But the biggest project of the year will be installing the rest of the trim, so I’d have to go with a brad nailer if I were to splurge on a tool. Or a circular saw, for the outside deck projects. Give me one of all of them!
Home owner for years and never did a project. Now I’m looking to finally Hand some pictures, refurbish some deck furniture, replace some deck boards and power wash the house and drive way!
Tile saw for some much needed home improvement at our house!
Table saw!!! We redid the staircase and railings in our house and I’m planning on adding paneling up the walls next. I need to rib down about 6 sheets of MDF into 4″ planks though and man would a table saw come in handy!
My next project is to build a tabletop for an existing base. I would love to have an impact driver!
I would start with a palm sander, I have a dresser with a ton of sheen that needs refinishing. I would also like to restain my fireplace mantle and I know a sander would make that process much faster! I would like to work my way to a table saw someday too 🙂
From the first day I showed my husband the Ryobi garage door opener, he has not stopped talking about it since. Same goes for the entire One+ system! We are going to be building a Murphy Bed in our office for guests and I know that we will be buying some tools for Ryobi!

We are covering our brick fireplace and wall mounting our television.
I’m currently working on fixing up an old storage shed into my she-shed! I have been dying for a table saw!

One of our next projects is shelving for garage organization. The 18V ONE+ONE 10 IN. BRUSHLESS DUAL BEVEL SLIDING MITER SAW would make the project much easier!
We would love to build a bunny hutch for our daughter’s new rabbit she got for Easter. The 18V LITHIUM-ION DRILL AND IMPACT DRIVER KIT would make driving the screws for this project much smoother. Our current battery powered drill no longer holds charge and was under powered when it did hold a charge.
I’d love a finish nailer to replace the trim on our first floor!
We’re closing on our second home in the next couple weeks and, although we went into the house hunting process saying we did not want another fixer upper, we ended up buying another fixer upper. Oops! This baby’s gonna need a full bathroom and kitchen redo, a wall knock down or two and the whole back patio needs to be jack hammered up. Yehaw! Not to mention we’ll need to put in a french drain. So pretty much any Ryobi tools would be a Godsend. <3
We need a miter saw! Our next project is a relatively easy one but I’m tired of putting it off. We need to replace some trim in our house and add crown molding. We somehow haven’t bought a miter saw yet.
I’d like a drill to hang some things in my new baby’s room 🙂
I would LOVE a power nail gun to finish up some molding projects (a bathroom in particular) that have been unfinished because it seems like a daunting task
We need a cordless finish nailer for some furniture building projects. I am so sick of dragging out the huge, heavy, loud compressor.
Too many to count! We close on our house next week!!!!!
We just bought a new house, so we have a lot of DIY projects in our future! We’ve been eyeing the garage door opener system, hedge trimmer, and weed eater. We love Ryobi products!

We are about to tackle some DIY projects so I would go with the super combo kit!
A walnut farm house table for my best man and his wife and daughter. The palm router would be pretty handy for it!
We have almost everything in Ryobi’s tool lineup. (insert monkey covering face emoji)
We’re building a new house & one thing we’re planning to DIY is all the baseboards. We’ve had our eye on the 18GA nailer for a while. Awesome giveaway Katie!
I would like a table saw! So I could surely use that $300! to help build the desktop I’m working on!
DIY picture frames (because the custom store ones are RIDICULOUSLY expensive!). I’d chose a brad nailer.
We bought a foreclosure and have been busy fixing it up and making it ours. Our next project is to finish the basement, complete with built-ins. I use my Ryobi ONE+ tools all the time and would love to have the new Score Wireless speaker system, this would be very handy to have while working throughout the house.
I would probably get the miter saw or the table saw! I just put an offer in on a house (!!) and would like to make some built-in bookshelves in the living room.
I would use the gift card for a garage door opener because it is on our summer to-do list. Our garage door opener has not worked right for over a year!!!
We are ripping out the kitchen next week! Saw zaw would be great!
Our Ryobi (been saying it wrong too!) electric mower just died and we liked it so much we want the same one again! Does that count?!
My next project is to add a mantle and hopefully some built ins to the side of our bedroom fireplace. I would love to have an orbital sander to help speed up the sanding process. Thanks.
One of the cordless drills. I like the hammer one but not sure if that’s the best one for me. May be too much power!
We are going to make a new chandelier for our dining room! So a new drill would be great!
We close on our first house TOMORROW. This is huge for us. We need a stud finder and a laser level. Ya know, so we don’t ruin all the pretty new walls.
LOVE Ryobi tools! Project next up is a remodel of the guest bath. I use a lot of reclaimed wood, so the planer would be nice. I’m also drooling over the router table, so it’s a toss up. But in all reality, I’d love to buy my son an air nailer. He and his wife just moved into a fixer upper, and my nailer is probably my favorite tool. I’d love to win and buy one for him.
On a side note, I had to smile at your pronunciation intro. A couple of years ago I wondered the same thing and tweeted Ryobi asking for the correct pronunciation. Most every time I would say REE-obi, I got corrected (usually by a man ;-P) telling me it’s RYE-obi. Now I can stand confident in REE not RYE camp because I got it from the horse’s mouth!
Thanks for the giveaway!
We are working on a major renovation to our 1950’s ranch house. To be able to do everything we wanted to do we have to DIY a good amount of it. It would be a toss-up between the portable table saw and the tile saw (or both?). We still have ALL the trim work to do throughout the WHOLE house, kitchen back splash to install, flooring install, an outdoor island to build, etc., etc., etc.!
We are working on finishing our basement and the last thing on my list is to repaint the stairs. I’d love an orbital sander to help me out!
I would like to finish part of our basement as our next DIY project.
Power washer for our siding and patio refresh!!
The proper Ryobi pronunciation is news to me!
My next project is doing some board and batten shutters for my front windows. My husband laughs because he says I’m more handy than he is. He’s just the financier 😀
Old house = numerous projects. Plan to paint exterior and have to replace some trim so a table saw, miter saw or sander would come in handy. I have the weed trimmer and love it!

I’d love to build a new kitchen table! Or a million other projects. A table saw would be helpful
My next project is to make a table for behind our sofa. We do not have room in our living room for a fun coffee table, so we are going to put one behind. I have technically had the wood for this project for over a year now. Life has been busy with a new baby! I love the AirStrike nailers and would love one of those in my tool collection! My husband has been eyeing the blower and trimmer for our yardwork.
We are trying to make a teen friendly space in the basement. The paint sprayer would be so helpful for this!

My husband and I are in the process of adding a deck to our tiny house and would LOVE the 12” sliding compound miter saw!
We will be attempting yo paint the outside of our house. Not sure if we are crazy, but we will definitely need a pressure washer and Ryobi has a great one I have had my eye on!
Impact Drill/Driver would be great working on a new garden gate.
I’m refinishing a rocking chair. We need a new drill!
I know it’s pretty basic but I want a cordless drill with a lot of oomph. I have a little girly one that I got when I was poor and I couldn’t use it to hang my gate. Had to drag an extension cord all the way across the yard to use my father in laws 40 year old powerhouse hammer drill. And extra batteries! They’re the most expensive part! Our next DIY project is adding a built in around the window in the office with lots of shelves for plants that the cats can’t reach!
Currently trying to build a dining room table for my broth and his wife as a wedding present…but they got married last November..Realizing how useful a table saw would be right now, that is what I would get!

Would love a new circular saw to finish some raised garden beds!!
My next project is painting a bedroom set! I want the belt sander!
After living in our house for 15 years, our master bathroom and bedroom are finally on the “to-do” list of household projects. The first step in the remodeling process is to install a much needed window in our master bathroom. A cordless RYOBI 18 volt hammer drill would definitely come in handy when we start construction over Memorial Day weekend to put screws in the concrete.
Building out the entryway closet with custom built for no I so need a new circular saw for the cross cuts of the big bench seat/ shoe cubbies.
I am in the process of completely doing my bathroom and will be the first time I DIY after constantly watching all the pros! I would love to have the time saw!
Our next and immediate DYI is repainting the kitchen cabinets and new hardware so I really need a sander and a drill. Thanks for your amazing blog. I really enjoy it!
I built a wooden playhouse (4`x 6`) for my daughter with two hand saws. Now I am hooked on woodworking and have a huge list of projects. With my hand saws it will take ages to do just a couple of them. Therefore I need a circular saw very soon.
It would be awesome to get a nail gun. Gotta lay some quarter round so bugs will stop grossing up our future guest room in the basement. What’s more awesome is not having a futon in the office/current-nursery-but-only-for-a-month-more-till-he-stops-feeding-in-the-middle-of-the-night-and-moves-upstairs-with-his-brothers room (that’s an official room name- you’ll see it all over realty websites). Awesome blog btw, you’re hilarious!
My husband and I are DIY newbies working on our first home together. We’ve already torn the garage off and our plans are to fix up the curb appeal and replace the old metal shed out back. I’d totally splurge on the combo kit to give us a nice foundation of tools!

Our next project is to refinish our kitchen table. We would love a new sander or cordless nail gun!
This would be fantastic!
GAH so many projects!! Bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel and fireplace surround remodel. I’d say a saw or a nail gun would help with these projects most.
A cordless saw thing. 😉
So many projects, but the one I would love to tackle first is building a true workbench area in the garage, which would make it so much easier to tackle the others. The 12″ sliding compound mater saw with laser would fit into my life perfectly. 🙂
Our next project is a chicken coop and I’d love a jigsaw in this brand!
I’ve got an old Ryobi drill that doesn’t hold its charge anymore, so I’d love to upgrade to a One+ version. Every DIY project needs a drill!
