  20. they’re so cute when they’re sleeping. cuz that’s when they’re quiet and squishy and cuddly. hopefully Will is a good baby and doesn’t spend every waking moment crying or screaming or anything.

    You son is absolutely adorable. It is making me extra crazy though…my due date was yesterday and I am just dying to meet our little person (we don’t know the sex). Any good waiting distractions? How about what you wished you would have packed in your hospital bag that you didn’t. I don’t know what to put in that darn thing!

    I feel your pain sistah. Good waiting distractions? Hmm…well, we did a lot of last minute projects like changing our doorbell, planting a tree in the babies honor, mulching the front yard, and writing the thousands of thank you notes that were well-overdue.
    As for your bag question – we packed two different sets of bags…one labor bag which had our cue cards for Jeremy, heating pads, slippers, our ipod speakers, a fan, a couple photos for disctraction and our camera. The other bag was deemed the overnight bag. In that one we had our changes of clothes, our toiletries, Jeremy’s pillow and full-sized blanket, our Boppy, our baby book, our favors for hospital visitors and of course the going-home outfit for the newest family addition.

    Yup! I did take it with my little ole camera…and warning – naked baby photos are not as glamorous as one would think…in fact, the one word to describe them would be “DANGEROUS”….all sorts of airborne liquids fire without warning!

  109. oh my… i’m in the neurotic stage of my pregnancy- you know ther “oh my goodness, what did i do/ am i ready for this/ does this mean my life is over/ will i be able to love this kiddo the way i’m supposed to” phase. that little picture can smooth over any such fears. thanks for sharing!
