Target and TopShop are both carriers of maternity lines. Maybe I am just living under a rock because I didn’t know about TopShop’s wares. I wasn’t missing a whole lot I guess. I could only pick out a couple items that I thought were both cute and looked like they might actually fit someone with a pregnant belly. But that bathing suit is ADORABLE. I would wear that grocery shopping if it was socially acceptable. And Target it my go-to source for maternity items just simply because it is the closest place for me to buy them…although I do wish they would be a little bit more generous with their patterns, textures and scoopnecks. Is it really too much to ask?
Well, that wraps up our maternity clothing extravaganza! It was a full week of online shopping for those with a bun in the oven. I personally loved sharing what I was diggin’…especially since it was like window shopping with friends that have great taste and experience with all these different brands. Plus…shopping with imaginary money is just plain fun.

Is it weird that I can’t wait to get preggers with my second now that I *finally* have an idea of where to pick up stuff that doesn’t give me dreaded “saggy bottom” or “too fat top”?? Probably a little. 😉

I have the not maternity version of the mint dress from Target and would wear it every day if I could. It is so comfortable! It is enough to make me want to snatch up the maternity one while they carry it even though I’m definitely not pregnant!

“That’s one killer hood” Plus…When I was a teenager, I drove a car off a bridge into a dry creek bed. It landed upside down, and I walked away with bruises. And my little dog was fine. Although she didn’t come home for three days.

I was driving home from college on a 4-lane interstate when an a**hole in a huge pickup truck cut me off, going 100 mph. A split second later, a deer went hurtling through his windshield, basically totaling his truck. That would have been MY deer, hurtling into my Civic, with much deadlier results, had he not pulled in front of me. Thanks, a**hole!

hi! I’m a new fan of your blog. I want to read back through your old posts, but I don’t want to keep clicking “older posts.” Is there a way to find your older posts? I’m new to blog reading altogether!

I loooooooooooooooooooooved my Target maternity jeans. I was still wearing them 6 months post-baby until my husband said (very kindly), “Honey, you look great. Can we put the maternity jeans away?” I grudgingly did- they were THE most comfortable jeans I’ve ever had.

There is a little sidebar pop-down menu called ARCHIVES. You can pick the older months and see the posts without quite so much clicking.
