Are you a pillow-luster? I don’t pine over buff male celebrities. I don’t even notice fancy cars. I lust over pillows. Some of my favorites are the following…
(first row – 1, 2, 3 second row – 1, 2, 3 third row – 1, 2, 3)
First thing you should know…because I know I am gonna get this same questions 1.3 billion times….they are all from Lulu & Georgia.
And secondly…did you notice a trend there?
It’s a pattern. The first column of pillows are all organic shapes or designs. The second column is all linear or geometric. The third are smaller scale patterns. Each row goes together in a really fun and easy way. That my friends is how I mix and match patterns pillows. You can also remove any one of the pillows and pop in a plain one. It just works. And I don’t question whether it all works together because I did the scientific method and proved it…they always do.
(neya pillow, homemade pillow, tangled branch pillow)
There again. Three pillows….all working together for the good of the people. It’s like the Three Musketeers…all for one and one for all!
Of course…just one little pillow looks good too. Especially when you put a modern pattern on a vintage looking chair. I have a soft spot for vintage chairs…it’s called my tush and it loves sitting down 🙂
But that isn’t all that Lulu & Georgia have to offer.
They also have great looking rugs, prints, lighting and gifts! Ok – now you get a sneak peek at my new office. It’s WHITE.
And the one thing that white walls absolutely need is ART. I scored all three of these prints at Lulu & Georgia and am OBSESSED with them. I have been following Anna Bond on instagram forever now and I love her work at Rifle Paper Company. The flower gal (who Will calls Nana! ha!) and the New York art are both from the talents of Anna. And I love the third quote. That one goes out to all my lady friends!

Love the chair! Is that new? Your office is looking great, too! The flower gal reminds me of Frida Kahlo 🙂 Also, I totally lol’d at your soft spot comment – too funny!

I LOVE the new office preview! I always want to attempt white walls in a room, but I just don’t seem to love them in my own house as much as my tried and true gray 🙂 I can’t wait for the full reveal!

Super cute stuff! I know I need to venture outside of Target and Home Goods for home decor items sometime but dang, major sticker shock 🙁 Everything looks lovely in your home though! Can’t wait to see the new office and playroom.

Thanks Katie for sharing your three pillow recipe! I love throw pillows and feel I have good taste when it comes to picking out nice pillows…I just don’t know how to arrange them and mix patterns. I also must mention that I love your antique chairs; especially the one you pictured in this post with the chevron pillow. If you are EVER to sell this chair, PRETTY please – sell it to me first! I will pay good money for it 😉 You have great taste!

It’s old. It was from my grandmother and I inherited after she passed.

Ditto to Jenn C. I too love pillows and appreciate that you took the time to scientifically test the ingredients for us. Fabulous! I also love the eclectic look of how the office is coming along, and can’t wait to see more.
