With breast cancer awareness month in full swing, I was completely honored to be able to offer up a GROHE showerhead in their limited-time PINK color. Not only is it a beautiful thing but completely functional as a shower head (duh) and as a reminder to all us sportin’ a pair of hooters that we need to check them regularly to aide in breast cancer early detection. Since self-exams are the number one way we can find lumpage…especially those of us too young for mammograms…this lovely feminine showerhead can literally be a life-saver.
So without further ado, join me in congratulating Megan – our lucky winner of the Pink Rainshower® Icon hand shower and accompanying adapter and hose curtesy of ABP and GROHE! Be on the lookout for an email from me to claim your prize.
And for those of you looking to get a new showerhead, or just would like a daily reminder to check your tah-tahs, remember that the sale of every GROHE’s showerhead supports breast cancer research through donating $25 to the BCRF for every GROHE Ladylux3 Café and Ladylux3 Plus faucet sold in participating showrooms, and $10 to the BCRF for every Rainshower® Icon Hand Shower sold during the month of October. Each donation sponsors 30 minutes of research time and GROHE aims to support a research project for a full year through a $250,000 donation to the BCRF. So you can help yourself while helping others. DOUBLE the winners! (or should I say millions of winners – since breast cancer affects many more people!)

I like the design of the pink showerhead. However besides looking good, do they save water, too? Once, I purchased a low-pressure showerhead which did not have a very stylish design but it saves water, which is my concern.
Here my other questions. Are your showerheads suitable for any shower or does it fit to any shower? thx.
Katie says
Hi Sam,
Yes – they do have a water-saving option. It’s the little switch below the actual shower head that you can flip to low-flow. Also, most showerheads are suitable for any shower (with the proper fittings) so I imagine this one wouldn’t have any problem fitting onto your shower pipe!
