QVC and Philosophy graciously offered up a slew of bath products for you guys. 

Yeah…and they sent me some of the smell-goods too.  I’m telling myself that it isn’t because of my stank. 

These bath gels alone will be motivation enough to get me in the shower everyday (like getting a break from the baby wasn’t enough!).   Plus, they are gonna be my little way of getting in the holiday spirit…one pit at a time 🙂

The big bottle called the Snowman is filled with showergel/shampoo – just the kind of time saver a girl like me needs.  Plus, it smells like snow.  I didn’t really know what that meant…seeing as how I never sniffed snow before…but now that I popped open the bottle, let me tell you, it is reeeeal nice.

I love love love how each of the smaller bottles is named after a yummy winter beverage.  And the name is right above a recipe on how to make said drink. 

Yes, at our Christmas party you will hear me ask a friend to go to our shower to retrieve the shower gel.  Guaranteed.   And I will probably have to tell Jeremy to stop licking my arm.  IN PUBLIC.  And Will?  Well,  Will just doesn’t even know how much he is gonna like holiday breastfeeding 🙂

    Hands down addiction to Tazo Vanilla Rooibos (Organic Red Tea Latte Concentrate).
    Being that I am a new mom (to a 7 month old), this super easy box of liquid delight just gets added to equal parts of milk and heated up in the microwave..yah!
    Better yet, it is caffeine free (bonus for a breastfeeding mom!) 🙂

  18. GEL ME UP – I like hot cocoa any day of the year. For the holidays I suppose it depends on whether I’m with my family or my in-laws. Mine and I’ll have whatever. If I’m with the in-laws then it can be whatever as long as whatever has a lot of alcohol in it.

    My favorite holiday drink is homemade egg nog. It is something my father used to make every year and had me help him with, even as a little kid when all I could do was crack eggs or help with the immersion blender. Lots of fun and lots of good taste, especially with a sprinkle of freshly ground nutmeg!

    My favorite holiday drink is hot apple cider spiked with a generous amount of Firefly Sweet Tea vodka. Trust me, it’s so delicious that it’s dangerous!

    Ibarra Mexican hot chocolate, which I drink all winter long – if you have never tried this, get thyself to the nearest Mexican grocery store and buy a hexagonal yellow box!

    Eggnog with plenty of added liquor and nutmeg

    Mulled wine

One of those things you think you don’t need…but, oh, if you drink Hot chocolate more than once a year, you do! Mixes & heats in less than 10 minutes! My favorite part is when my boys start singing the “hot chocolate” song from the movie Polar Express!

    Egg nog! I scored some eggnog yogurt at the store yesterday… haven’t tried it, but I’m all for eggnog. I love eggnog icecream, egg nog in my coffee instead of my usual 1/2 & 1/2, spiked eggnog. Wherever! I’m sure the yogurt will be a hit. Sadly, my hubs despises eggnog so if I buy a carton, I’m responsible for downing it alone!

    My favorite drink is double spiced black chai tea (for some reason, it must be Stash brand). Love this with some milk and a little sugar. Mmmmm. It’s my dessert. As for a festive holiday grown-up beverage, I love a little concoction that my family calls “Sneaky Pete” though it’s not truly a Sneaky Pete we just call it that because my husband’s name is Pete. It’s a frozen alcoholic punch that is true to its name and completely hilarious when the Grandmas and Aunts who don’t drink have one or two cups and start laughing a little louder and a little harder. 🙂

    I really like mulled wine and hard spiced cider (tastes good warmed with a cinnamon flavored liquor like Goldschlaeger. I know it sounds funny bc I know I associate the Goldschlaeger with undergrad memories I’d like to forget about about, but it does actually taste quite good. If cinnamon isn’t your thing but bourbon is, I also recommend cider with bourbon and a few jarred cherries-Yum!)

And when I want something to cool me off from all the sweaters and burning fires, I love a glass of chilled eggnog (but the kind from the grocery without alcohol….I like the spiced creamy virgin variety)!

    I used to be OBSESSED with the peppermint mocha from Starbucks. When our son was born, I decided to be a stay at home mom, bringing us down to one income. I now make my own drink at home. I use Coffee Mate’s Peppermint Mocha, strongly brewed coffee, and a spoon full of cool whip to give it that “frothy” latte feel without having to buy an espresso machine. Knowing that we are saving money so I can stay home, makes it taste so much better than Starbucks!

    So, a local martini bar introduced me to the most fabulous holiday cocktail last year. I was so glad to replicate the recipe at home, because it’s so much cheaper! Anyhoo, it’s eggnog mixed with spiced rum and creme de cocoa, shaken with ice and strained into a martini glass. De-freakin-lish!

    PG-version would be half eggnog, half milk, in a mug, served steaming hot. Yum.

    I loooove mulled wine. (Red wine, heated – always below boiling! – on the stove for ~30 minutes with cinnamon, cloves, nutmug, honey, and a bit of orange slice. It’s the best. A lot of the alcohol cooks off so it’s not terribly boozy, though some people add brandy to theirs.)

  844. GEL ME UP! I love Philosophy! Hot chocolate is my favorite. I usually buy several bottles when I can find it as it seems to be a seasonal flavor.

  848. Gel me up! They do smell tasty enough to drink… I do love me some wassail this time of year. And apparently so does the family, they start hounding…I mean asking me to make it for every holiday get together…its some good stuff.

  873. Gel me up! My fave holiday drink is hot chocolate from the gas station.. I know it sounds gross but I find the cheaper the hot chocolate, the more I like it. I could care less for S-bux but I love it at the local gas station!

  878. GEL ME UP! My favorite beverage is hot chocolate after a cold winter day spent outside in Ohio. I was so quick to leave the snow behind me in Cleveland when I moved down to the Deep South, but I’m surprised at how much I miss it! Nothing warms you up after a day outside in the snow like a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows in it! 🙂 Oh, and I really want to smell this Snowman one!

  901. This season I’m loving anything in a Starbucks red cup, it just looks like the holidays are here! That’s a treat for me, being of the careful spender variety 😉 At home during the holiday season I like to make mulled wine for the fella and myself after the little one goes to sleep; easy, warming, and so, so delicious!

    I love the Godiva Cocoa. Half milk, half half&half, add cocoa, malted powder. It’s fun to top with some freshly whipped cream if you have it. And some chocolate shavings.

    I (stupidly) gave up coffee and my favorite holiday drink WAS peppermint mocha but now that I’m coffee-free, I’ll have to go with mint hot chocolate 🙂

    Gel me up! (Am I the only one who thinks that sounds a little dirty?) It’s hard to pick one favorite winter drink (salted caramel hot cocoa, espresso with a shot of kahlua and some whipped cream, egg nog with some spiced rum — I like ’em all!) but mostly I love the cozy feeling of holding a hot mug with both hands while curled up with my sweetie on the couch — pure bliss!

    I like almost everything…hot tea, mulled cider, hot cocoa, coffee with a little sumthin-sumthin in it to warm you up! I love fall!
