What a rough weekend.
Like rougher than making out with a 20 grit sandpaper block. Let me tell ya…that ain’t fun.
First – moving is stressful. Second – no running water and a very dirty house is a bad combo. Third – a 10 month old with 103.5 degree temperature will land you in the ER at 2 in the morning to discover that bronchitis and double ear infections are no fun. We were just glad to not hear that P word. or the N word depending on how you look at it. That is pnemonia for the folks out there that have no idea what I am talking about.
Let’s just say that we have officially crossed the line into those crazy worried parents that literally would peel off their own skin if it would help their little ones feel better. It was a first for us…but one that we are glad is over and done with.
Speaking of firsts – today’s giveaway item is a great way to document the firsts in your life….and the lives of the little ones or loved ones around you. That’s right….Gadanke is a handcrafted journal shop created by a sweet girl named Katie.
Katie takes the journaling concept one step farther by creating prompts in some of her creations. They can help you in spurring along your creative process – perfect for those afflicted by writers block! Just check out the items that comes with the “SHE” personal journal (it’s a shmorgasboard of items perfect for those people that love scrapbooking and writing!):
Oh and those first ones – the vintage fabric covered ones? Those are my favorites….so beautiful!
They would be the best thing to add to a gift stash…for those just-in-case moments where you have a birthday but no gift…yeah…I have lots of those. And these would be just darling stuffers for easter baskets for those grown-up girls in your life.
Okay – so here is how you can win:
PRIZE : Gadanke Journal of your choice
NUMBER OF WINNERS : One (1)
DESCRIPTION:
TO ENTER : Leave a comment with the phrase “WRITE THAT DOWN” (name that movie!) and just for licorice sticks, tell me which one you would choose from the Gadanke site or your favorite journaling memory. I have one that I just vented about my mother for close to fifteen pages. I believe several of those pages were just me repeating “I WILL NEVER YELL AT MY KIDS” over and over again. Obviously I didn’t know what parenting was all about 🙂
PRIZE SHIPS : Anywhere to ANYONE! Wahoo!
NITTY GRITTY : This giveaway ends on Friday, February 25th at 8am EDT. Only one contest entry per email address. The winners will be chosen using Random.org and announced on Monday, February 28th.
Good luck and happy writing down those ‘firsts’ ya’ll! (check out the winner of last week’s giveaway at the bottom of this post!)
Congrats to Jamie at [email protected] – you are the winner of the Gadanke Journal! Email me to claim your prize!
“WRITE THAT DOWN” is from Van Wilder ! — and i absolutely adore the vintage floral fabric journals 🙂
Write That Down!! My favorite memory is getting my new journal from my hubby when we got married!
Write that down! I never kept a journal – blogging is the closest I have come. But I love the vintage fabric journals!
Write that down! I started a ‘quick journal’ this year. I just jot down a few things that happened that day. But, it’s just a plain ol blank book. I’d LOVE the pink & white striped book.
Write That Down! I found a journal from when I was in fourth grade. One entry said “I have a boyfriend. I’m not sure if he likes me or not, but we’ll see.” If only it worked that way 😉
I’m so glad Will is feeling better!!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I think this is such a good idea! While not a journal per se, my Dad’s Aunt wrote down her own memoir a few years ago, and her daughter printed it off and gave copies to members of the family. It was so special just to read what life was like for her growing up. Personally, I don’t have a favorite journal entry that I can think of–although I have to say, I thought that little sisters reading your diary was just a television myth…whoops, learned that lesson the hard way!
I’m sorry–the pretty journals distracted me so much! Lots of love going Will’s way (and yours!). Poor thing, I hope he is feeling much better!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I found a journal from 3rd grade full of reasons why I hated my teacher because she gave us homework on fridays!
Write that down! A favourite journal memory I have was saving up my money in grade four to buy a special journal with golden retrievers on the cover from the school book fair.
First of all, I’m sorry to hear about the weeman! I don’t have any babies of my own, but when my niece and nephew are sicklings it’s heartbreaking – I can only imagine if they were my own. Hope he feels better soon!
Second – Great find, those journals are adorable!
Write that down!
I honestly think that my best journaling memory is yet to come. This weekend, for my 24th birthday, four of my best girlfriends from college came to my hometown to help me celebrate. One of the many conversations we had this weekend ended with us deciding to start a sisterhood of the traveling journal. We even made rules: Everyone gets the journal for one month and has to write in it at least four times. We then mail it to the next, and the next, and the next (six times over – one friend was MIA because she lives in NYC and we’re in Missouri). There are no rules about what we can write, but we started imagining revealing a first pregnancy, or engagement, or first date! I imagine this journal spanning decades – until we’re like Dorothy, Blanch and Rose (and Sophia of course).
I think that the SHE journal would be perfect because it’s expandable (and we’re talkers – or jotters rather)!
Wooee, just based on this post I bet you could imagine how much we’ll all write! Thanks for the opportunity Katie!
Write that down! I would love to have the love letter journal to fill in for my husband’s upcoming birthday. My favorite journaling memory was writing “MOM, DON’T READ THIS, I KNOW YOU DO!” In the front of my journal after I noticed that she had corrected the spelling of my middle name on the title page when I was 7. Nice one ma.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
My favorite journaling memory is the time I spent studying abroad and everything I wrote down while I was there. I wish I would have wrote more! I always think I’m going to remember things, but I don’t. I gotta write everything down!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I definitely love those “she” journals. Awesome!
I’ve never been a consistent journal-er (or blogger!) but I too have teenage diaries filled with pages of the “awful/terrible” things my parents did and what I would NEVER do as a parent…
Poor kiddo and poor mommy and daddy! We’re just getting through a cold that knocked us on our feet and into bed for a week. The idea of moving and not having running water on top of it? Forget about it! My son made it until he was two and we were out of town for Thanksgiving in the middle of nowhere to have his first illness ever. I know exactly how you feel — if I could suck the sick out of him to give it to myself I would. It makes me so thankful for the good health we and he normally has! Hope you all feel better real quick!
WRITE THAT DOWN – I was cleaning out my old bedroom in my mom’s house with my husband when we stumbled upon my old (fluffy purple) journal. I read him some of it including the list of boys I had a crush on at the time, it would have been embarassing had he known any of them.
Poor Will! Glad he’s better. 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN!
The “She” journal looks amazing!
While a writer at heart, journaling has always been tough for me. I get so critical of my own thoughts!
I’d buy the set of travel journals for me and my father. We like to travel a lot and journal about it.
write that down! love the baby book!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
My earliest journaling memory is when i was writing about a boy i like and i wrote ‘I really like him, he is so hot’ – a while later i found a note on the page from my MUM – saying ‘i think you need a paracetamol’
I could have died with embarressment! hahaa
WRITE THAT DOWN!
My favourite journaling memory would have to be when I was backpacking through Europe. Whenever I was on a train to my next destination I wrote down everything that I had just done in the previous city. It was a great way to remember little details from my trip.
I love the ‘Journey’ travel journals they have on the site!
Write that down! The ‘She’ journal is adorable. I write everything down, most days I have 3 different notebooks on me. It seems to help with the OCD!
write that down!! this journal is great – i’d use it to record all my everyday moments that i want to scrapbook! 🙂 thanks for this amazing opportunity!
WRITE THAT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love those vintage covered ones:)
so glad Will is feeling better!!! yeah:)
WRITE THAT DOWN! I love the summer sun or blue lagoon travel journal. I think it’s a great idea to journal on trips to remember your favorite spots and memories to go with your photos.
Thank goodness Will is feeling better! No fun to have a sick baby!
1> hope little man gets better soon, we would hate to find out that you guys are going skinless around the new house! I am also one of those parents, but am learning that if the doctor can “fix” my kids (ie know what they have and give medicine) not to worry, to take a deep breath and go home and snuggle.
2>WRITE THAT DOWN!I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to try the SHE journal!
Thanks for the giveaway and as always you guys are awesome!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I love the travel journals.
Write that down!
I’m sorry you’re little guy isn’t feeling well 🙁
He’ll be better in no time 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN!
In about 4th grade a friend and I wrote back and forth to each other in my journal, while we were both sitting right there… why? I have no idea.
Write that down!! Sorry, I don’t know what movie that is from though..haha.
I lovelovelovelovelove the prayer journal, as well as the cream travel one.
I was quite the writer when I was younger (think 4th-7th grade) and I recently came across one of my old “story journals” yeah..it was nice to look through it and then hide it once again!
WRITE THAT DOWN! Definitely loving the vintage fabric ones, too!
“WRITE THAT DOWN”
I would definitely get the She one. I love those due date cards!
Write that Down! I love the fabric covered ones. So pretty.
Write that down! I have had journals since I was a teenager, but I did the best at writing when I was serving a mission for my church. Now I mostly blog, but I have printed those pages out before to put with a scrapbook and when my son is one year old I will print out those pages to make a book for him!
Write that down! I love Katie from Gadanke, and I love the vintage fabric-covered journal with pink stripes! I have been journaling every day since my senior year in high school, and sporadically before then. I have a whole bookshelf of my journals. It’s always nice to have more onhand!
WRITE THAT DOWN
Definitely agree with those vintage fabric covered journals!
Write that down! I’m loving the fabric covered floral journals!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
My brothers used to pick the lock on my journal, so I gave up at an early age. The day before he left for Afghanistan my husband gave me a beautiful leatherbound journal – he’s a very thoughtful guy and I’m blessed to be married to him.
Thanks for hosting so many great giveaways!
“Write that Down!” The “She” journal looks so great. I always want to start a journal so that I will have something to look back on later on but never know how to start- this would totally remedy that problem!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
when my 16-year old “true love” broke up with me, i made a dramatic list of qualities i wanted in the man i married. they included: likes to ride horses, doesn’t make fun of me and loves Jesus. not bad, eh?
WRITE THAT DOWN! Those vintage fabric ones are awesomeness embodied.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I would definitely go with the “You Are Loved” baby book. My husband and I are expecting our first child later this year and I have been on the hunt for the perfect baby book. I think I may have found it!
Write that down!! When I was in 6th grade my parents took me and my sisters to Africa and gave us each a journal to document it. It’s so fun to look at the way I described my experiences there, from the amazing safaris to the devastating poverty we sat.
Write that down! I love the vintage fabric-covered journals…
“Write that down”
I journal about how I miss my family so much! They’re over 4,000 miles away!
WRITE THAT DOWN!!!
I love the “Love letter” mini books! I’d love to fill one up for my hubby!
I’m sorry Will was so sick, but am SO glad he’s feeling better. One of the hardest things to handle is when the kids are down and out! Also, I feel your pain with the water being out- that seems to happen to us a lot here!
WRITE THAT DOWN
I absolutely love the “You Are Loved” baby book and even though I don’t have a baby (yet) I’ve started preparing and collecting for when the time comes so it’s not so shocking!
WRITE THAT DOWN
I’ve never written in a journal but would love to start.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I’d pick the “You are Loved” journal for a friend who has a wee one on the way! What a unique shower gift this would make.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
Although I never really “journaled”, I have always used a journal to write lists of things that people like. I’m talking things like types of flowers, candy, cakes, colors, lotions, candles… basically all the “favorites” of the people that I care about. This way I always had a choice when it came time to buy presents and could surprise them. I would just listen anytime they mentioned they liked something and jot it down later. It was a life saver!
My iphone has taken over for these lists, but I would love to have a nice fresh journal to start writing in! Plus my 6 year old daughter loves to write in her journal. She has already been through many. I have her very first one – it consist of scribbles throughout every single page… she was 2! She has always loved the idea of “writing”.
PS… Hope Will is fully recovered. I HATE it when the babies are sick. There is not a more helpless feeling than watching them ache and be sad.
“WRITE THAT DOWN” Grease! and i loved writing in my closet with a night light or in my tent in my journal when i was wayyy younger!!
WRITE THAT DOWN! Love all the journals!
WRITE THAT DOWN – I’d probably pick the mini love journal – would go great with the new husband I got 4+ months ago 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN!
Love the vintage covered journals!
“WRITE THAT DOWN”…I adore the floral ones…beautiful!
WRITE THAT DOWN! Love the “she” journals.
WRITE THAT DOWN! I love the pink and white vintage striped journal. It would have been oh so fun to use that when writing about how much I loved my high school boyfriend (and he’s now my husband!).
I hope Will feels better!
WRITE THAT DOWN, please
I would LOVE the vintage journal! My 5th grade diary is full of ramblings about the boys I thought I liked.
Write that DOWN!
I love the “she” journals! So awesome!
I used to write down everything in my journal as a little….but most had to do with cute boys in my class 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN! Great journals! I especially love the Something Serious with Something Silly journal as well as the Love Where we Live one!
WRITE THAT DOWN
My best journaling memory was from two years ago when I had just moved to ATL. I went with my (then) fiance to a photoshoot he was doing for a play and the So You Think You Can Dance auditions happened to be taking place at the same building.
I was sitting out in the lobby watching all the dancers to interviews and specialty footage, journaling about the whole experience when I noticed a group of them were staring back at me. When I looked up at them they immediately started stretching and doing “technical” tricks. I then realized that because I was dressed in business attire (had an interview later that day) that the dancers thought I was actually taking notes on them.
I played it up and would blatantly look at their numbers then nod and jot down a few things. It was too funny!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I’m liking the doodle journal. 🙂
Write that down!
One of my dearest friends is having her first baby in just a few weeks, and I have had my eye on the You Are Loved baby book for a while. Of course, I would love the vintage fabric journals or the She journal for myself! 🙂

Write that down! I need start journaling so I can remember all the little things about my kids! I’m THAT mom who doesn’t have a traditional baby book for any of my kids. No good.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I’ve always been sporadic with journaling…so my favorite are the journals that cover 5 – 10 years of my life in bits and pieces. I would write when I felt like it and/or uncovered the journal from whatever hiding place it was in and decided to try it again. 🙂
Write that down!
The vintage fabric ones are my fav!

WRITE THAT DOWN. In college i journaled all of my boy troubles in hopes that it would someday be something my own daughter would want to read. Now that I am a mom to a son instead of a daughter I am thinking maybe I should burn it.
WRITE THAT DOWN – I love the SHE journals. So cute!
Write that down! My fav would be the letter i wrote in my sons baby book when he was first born
WRITE THAT DOWN!
The She joiurnal is very cool!
I hope Will is feeling better 🙁 Mine are older now and we haven’t had to spend the wee hours of the morning in the Emergency Room for a while (touch wood) but I remember holding a sick little one in my arms for hours on end in a waiting room all too well, its heartbreaking.
Write That Down!

WRITE THAT DOWN.
I’d like to start( a little late) journaling aobut our daughter. I keep things here and there, but it would be great to consistently write about what she’s doing.

WRITE THAT DOWN
I love the little things journal.
WRITE THAT DOWN
Love letter! I used to write in a journal every day. My thoughts, feeling, things going on in my life, good things, bad things. I really miss doing that. It’s nice to read something you wrote 15 yrs ago and remember extactly how you were feeling at that moment. It nice to sometimes be able to cry over it all again too. But I really like to look back and see how much I’ve grown as a person. The things in my life that have made me who I am, that changed me for the better. I really need to start writting again. I need that, for me.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
Write that down! I LOVE the “you are loved” journal, but I’m already doing something similar for my baby boy, so I’d choose the “love letter” journal for my “boyfriend.”
Hope Will feels better soon!
WRITE THAT DOWN!!!
I love these journals! I’d have a hard time not ordering the baby book – that is absolutely precious!!
Write that down! I used to keep a travel journal pretty diligently, until my dad read it and I had complained about them! Ah, to be a preteen.
Write that down! I really like the “She” Journal, and the Travel one looks pretty fun.
Write that down! Hope the lil guy feels better soon! I love the vintage fabric journals, and my favorite journal entry is the 8-10 entries I put in my puffy ice cream themed diary as a child
Write that down! (Van Wilder, right?)
I used to put lots and lots of flowery language into my journals. “The sweet silver spun-sugar bells tinkled across the deep blue vast expanse of the unending sky.” Et cetera. Ah, adolescence.
I love the vintage fabric journal with the big yellow flowers!
write that down!
I have never been one to journal, but I have a newborn grandboy and another on the way. this is the most fun I have ever had! I love the idea of a baby journal/book because I want to tuck in all the little momentos and emails etc

WRITE THAT DOWN! I love the vintage florals.
Write that down. I love the brown covered journals.
Hi Katie! I hope Will is feeling better! And with the move and everything I hope you guys are doing ok too!
I love to journal! I’ve kept a journal since I was in 5th grade, my favorite one was after reading the book “Harriet the Spy” I would try and write down as much as I could while “spying” on my family. It’s fun to go back and read those things now that I am older. My favorite journal is the”love letter” for my hubby. I think it’s a good idea whenever I get in a fight with my hubby to think of something nice and loving that will make my anger subside. We get so caught up in the negative things that we tend to forget the good things, at least I do. Anyway, good luck with the house, the baby and the new adventure. Don’t worry about posting too much we know you’re busy. We’ll be here when you come back!
WRITE THAT DOWN
my fave journaling memories are the stories of the births of my kiddos. Two were induced and one almost didn’t give us time to get to the hospital. Lovely memories to write down and read over and over and over….
thanks for the chance! And praying that Will is all better soon!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I really like the vintage floral journals.
WRITE THAT DOWN
I wrote in severeal journals when I was younger, now I only blog or simple talk to my mom about EVERYTHING. If I’m pissed or grumpy at something, I let my hubby get an earful of whatever is on my mind. 🙂
My favorite item on the page is the Love Letter. Someimes I just write those as I believe those feelings are most important to share, and it would be even more fun to write them down on beautiful paper.
Write that down! I love the vintage fabric covered journals too. =)
Write that down!
Write that down!
I love the Journey-travel journal. What a great idea!

Oh Van Wilder, I love it. 🙂
I ADORE the She personal journal 1.1. Such a fantastic idea. I need to get more of my story down, but I always put it off. This would be a big help!
WRITE THAT DOWN! The closest I come to journaling is the notebook I keep for the gym. I like the vintage fabric journals best because the pages are blank, giving you freedom to write, doodle, or whatever you want
WRITE THAT DOWN!!! I really like the baby book journal…
WRITE THAT DOWN!
When my brother and Sister and I were younger, we were heading out for a family road trip for 3 weeks, my Mum bought us all journals to write our adventures down in.
I loved the idea…and thought that is was SUCH a thoughtful idea.Journaling was a part of my life after that. Such a great way to jot down all your adventures and thoughts.
I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the pink and white striped vintage fabric journal.
My fingers are crossed that I win…a NEW journal : )
WRITE THAT DOWN!
Love the vintage journals. 🙂
Glad the medicine is working. We had a bug over here too…it took us all out of commission for a week+ and took 3 visits to the Dr/Urgent care. No fun at all!

WRITE THAT DOWN! I have never been a journal person until I got engaged. My future mother in law gave me a wedding journal and I have been diligent in writing down about all our appointments. I am excited to read it again on our future anniversaries!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I, of course, also love the SHE journal, but I think the JOURNEY one is pretty cool, too!
Write that down! Hope Will is all better!
My first journaling memory is actually of my sister’s journal – I used to hunt for it all the time to read her thoughts 🙂 I’m more direct now and just ask her!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I have some old diaries from my childhood that are pretty funny, but my favorite thing to re-read is my “mommy journal”. I love reading the entried from when my two boys were babies. I was so fascinated and enamored by them and still am!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I would choose the ‘You are Loved’ book for my 4 month old.
Write that down! – from my favorite movie. I would love the baby books because they are so much better than anything I have ever seen in the stores, but I would also really like the variety of the personal journal. Such a good idea.
WRITE THAT DOWN – the vintage fabric – so cute!
WRITE THAT DOWN…. i love the pink flowered vintage fabric… so nice
Write that Down! I am glad to hear that Will is doing better. That must have been very scary. And Congrats on the new house as well! My favorite journaling is looking back at all the “deep” thinking I used to write down all the time. Makes me laugh or flush with embarrassment.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I love the vintage fabric journals!
Write that down! LOVE the vintage fabric ones! 🙂
Sounds like you had a rough weekend! 🙁 Hopefully it gets better this week and soon you will be able to relax in your new home!!!
WRITE THAT DOWN! Sorry to hear about little W, I hope he’s feeling all better. I have never successfully kept a journal, can’t even keep up with my blog, BUT I for sure have a specific person in mind who will be graduating from seminary in a couple of years and would totally love a beautiful journal to write down stuff like sermon ideas! So I would go the future gift route, like you said. Because I might already have like 5 blank or barely-used journals in my home…might…
Also, I might not go the “prayer journal” route, because we Lutherans emphasize that Grace is a free gift given to everyone, so we don’t have to seek it, because we already have it! I do like the Bluebird Trellis pattern in “the little things” giving thanks journal…might be my pick!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I love the lavender ‘seeking grace’ prayer journal! So pretty!
Write that Down!
I would go for the fabric covered journal or the you are loved!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I’d definitely choose the travel journal. My husband and I love to travel, and we’ve been to so many cool places now, it’s getting hard to keep track of them all!
Write that down! I love the “love where we live” journal, so cute and would be such a keepsake in the future!
WRITE THAT DOWN!!
I love the prayer journal…and the baby one (for my niece/nephew on the way)…and the fabric ones…I just can’t decide.
I have an entire journal full of top 10 lists of boys that I thought were cute at the time…
Write that Down! Love the Vintage Fabric. Sorry to hear that Will is sick. NO FUN!!!!!!
Write that down! My favorite journal entry is when I mentioned that my boyfriend (at the time’s) brother had a new girlfriend and wondering what she was like… then when she moved to our town to get married, we became best friends (six years later, still are).
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I’m a journaler through and through. I’ve always loved having a small collection of little notebooks to jot down thoughts in. I love the uniqueness available from fabric covers to recycled paper covers and everything in between. I’m smitten with those vintage fabric journals!
Write that down!
Love Van Wilder, anywho my favorite journal would be one of the vintage fabric ones.

Write that down! I always keep a journal, with the hopes that someday my kids will want to read how their mommy and daddy lived when they were young. The vintage looking ones are beautiful!
Write that down! Just checked out the Gadanke site and I love the You are Loved Baby Journal.
WRITE THAT DOWN!!! My favorites are the love letter journal and the vintage fabric cover! They are beautiful!

I want the Love Where We Live journal. It would be perfect to document our homes/locales as we fall in love (fingers crossed) with all the places that the Marine Corps will be sending us to.
Write that down! The You Are Loved journal 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I have never been great at keeping a journal through the years, but I enjoyed writing stuff down about our son as he grows. I would love to get the baby book or prayer journal!
Write that down! I would choose the You Are Loved journal. We just heard our baby’s heartbeat for the first time today, and I’d love to start keeping track of other firsts!
Write that down!
I must write more! I feel like I forget so much!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I would use this journal to write a letter to each of my kids through out their lives and someday give it to them!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I don’t have a favorite journal memory – as I’ve never been able to keep one for more than a few days! But I’d love to start and keep the habit 🙂
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I would write down the answers that my family gives me to random questions I ask them all of the time.
Such as the one just asked today-
what is your favorite childhood book? Why was it your favorite? Thinking back about that book what feelings come to mind? I love to record stuff like this in my journal or blog. I find out some neat stuff about my hubby of 12 years and would love to compile a list of grandparents answers for my munckins.

What serendipitous timing! I was just going through my old journal with my sister in law, laughing about how silly we were as kids! My favorite line from when I was about 12 years old: “My favorite hobbies are reading, and playing pretend.”
WRITE THAT DOWN!…I would love the SHE…it looks amazing!
WRITE THAT DOWN! I would use this jounral to write a letter to each of my kids through out their lives and give it to them someday!
Write That Down! Each of those journals is fantastic. What a perfect gift idea for my sisters, friends, etc. My personal pick: You Are Loved baby journal.
WRITE THAT DOWN! I’ve tried to start journaling so0o many times, but somehow i can never make it more than a few days.
WRITE THAT DOWN! They all look amazing! She is so talented.
WRITE THAT DOWN! I think the baby journal would be so sweet as part of a baby shower gift! I also like the fabric covered journals – I would love to start an “everyday journal” where I jot down what happened each day! My brother-in-law has done that for 10 years….its crazy that he can tell anyone what he did any day over the past 10 years! Good luck with the rest of your move Katie! Cant wait to watch you decorate the Dream House!
write that down! i love all of the journals. it’s been a couple of years since i journaled. i should get back into it! 🙂

WRITE THAT DOWN!!! I am in love with the fabric covered journals!!! I don’t really write a lot in journals – but LOVE to use them to stick in my purse for quick notes or reminders!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I love keeping a travel journal since it transports you back. I also was revisiting a hilarious journal entry lamenting the lack of good men out there. I wrote something about how it is crazy my future husband is out in the world and we just haven’t met yet. We met the next day =)
“WRITE THAT DOWN” My favourite journaling memory would have to be finding my mother’s stack of journals after she had died. It was so hard to read her thoughts & feelings and to see things from her point of view; especially now that she had gone and I couldn’t talk to her about them. I treasured those journals and I hope to start keeping regular journals so I can pass these onto my children one day [when I have them!]
I would pick the {Something Serious with Something Silly} ~ Doodle List journal because I am a list ADDICT. I have thousands of post it notes on my desk at work- really! if it isn’t written down, it doesn’t get done!
WRITE THAT DOWN 🙂 (VanWilder…. ?)
My favourite journalling memory was during a 6 week trip as a student nurse in rural Cambodia. I still take that journal with me when ever I travel to provide nursing care in other countries!
I would love a Gadanke travel journal! Especially since my husband and I are planning a European travelganza (good word eh? You can steal it.) this summer! Maybe in something unisex so we can write in it together….
Love your blog, you are an inspiring woman, new mom and creative spirit!

I’d love the LoveLetter journal, for my gorgeous boyfriend who loves me without question xo
WRITE THAT DOWN! I think it’s hilarious to read my old journals from elementary or middle school because they were mostly a list of my crush of the moment….”I like John.” “Now, I like Matt.” Ha!

I love the vintage fabric journals!

I love the “Love Letter” journal. I would use this to write out my love for my husband and give it to him for either his birthday or our anniversary this year. With an 11 month old, we don’t have nearly the time to focus on our marriage that we did before (even though we still have a monthly date night) and I think this would be a wonderful way to show him that I love him more now than ever before!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
{haha, love the Van Wilder quote!}
I definitely wrote “I do not need a boyfriend” over and over for 3 pages…only to be asked out and say yes less than a week later :/
WRITE THIS DOWN.
I have always kept a journal and now that I am married I kept a love journal. I copy down all the loves notes/texts he gives me and I give him so our kids will see one day how much love we shared for each other.

Oh my gosh I love them all! But the baby book is especially sweet!
Write that down! I love the “You are Loved” baby book. My little guy was really sick a couple of weeks ago, too, so I can sympathize! It’s the saddest thing in the world.
WRITE THAT DOWN!! I like the something serious with something fun journal:) the pink and orange colors are fun and the white seems timeless…great for a journal!
WRITE THAT DOWN!
My favorite journaling moment is probably when I talk about how much I don’t like boys because I was in seventh grade and afraid my mom or God might find my journal and discover the truth. I eventually crack and every other entry is about how I have a crush on a new boy. “Today I like Nick the most because he has great eyes” or something like that. Haha.
I’m 23 now and sometimes it still seems like I write a lot about boys. Oh my.

I haven’t kept journals very much….but I do have a very distinct memory of a very long journal entry written after being punished for something and not being able to attend a middle school dance on Valentine’s Day and being DEVASTATED that I couldn’t dance with my boyfriend!
Write that down! I’d probably pick the seeking grace prayer journal
WRITE THAT DOWN! I’m loving those vintage fabric blank ones, too. Especially since the first page reminds me that “I find happiness when I quit trying to be perfect.” That there’s a radical thought, it is.

prayers to will that he’s on the mend!

Looooove those vintage ones! Especially the pink & white stripes 🙂 I’ve always loved journaling but could never keep it up for too long. Maybe one of these would help? When it comes to these I definitely judge a book by its cover!

WRITE THAT DOWN! When we got married last year, I started keeping a journal of what I was thankful about my husband and how I was praying for him. It’s fun to look back and see how God has answered our prayers even just in the last year!

Loving the Love Letters Journal.

I think I need one of all of those journals, minus the baby one (at least right now). As much as I love blogging, I think I really want to spend some time with the old fashioned writing.
WRITE THAT DOWN; I love the baby books 🙂
WRITE IT DOWN!!! I love love love the “She” journal. I don’t necessarily have a favorite entry but I love looking back at ‘where’ I was at different points of my life and what was on my mind.
WRITE THAT DOWN!!
I have a journal that I kept (rather randomly) all throughout college that is sometimes fun, sometimes heartbreaking to look back on.
Write that down! I like the vintage fabric journal.
WRITE THAT DOWN!
I would LOVE the “You are Loved” Journal. Adorable!
Write that down.
My favorite journals to look back on are those when I used to journal my prayers in college. My roommate was often around, but I still wanted to pray, so I wrote my prayers. Those are precious to me. It’s so funny how big a deal things seemed that now wouldn’t phase me at all. Guess that’s called maturity.
Love the SHE journal…
