    My favorite pattern is something that balances the fine line between feminine (flowers) and masculine (solid) that my husband will agree to have on our master bed. Though at the end of the day…a happy wife is a happy life to which my husband would respond “a happy man is the new plan”. Anyway where was I, I would say strips, geometricish design are my top two faves.

    My husband and I moved into our second home a year ago and the bedroom has been sadly neglected while we fix up the rooms other people actually see so this would go a long way to making it feel more finished!

    My favorite bedding prints on beds are subtle, geometric patterns. Nothing floral or too overpowering so you can be calm and serene in bed!

Right now we have a plain white duvet without a cover and even though my dog is so super cute, I so, so bad need a cover that is washable thanks to him! I’d love to have something sophisticated for our first NYC apartment–I’d love the Linden Monaco Blue Border duvet or the Linden Gray Border. They are the perfect combination of non-girly yet elegant, a little bold(especially the Monaco blue) yet still understated.

    I love pattern, especially Moroccan inspired pattern. I bought a newly built house, which I love, but it lacks the detail of my previous homes that were built in the early 1900s (although I now have closets!).     I’m always a fan of herringbone or houndstooth. Right now, we have this great sheet set on the bed from Target – it’s just a bunch of “x”s in gray, with random yellow ones. It’s hard to describe, but I kinda love it!

  1861. My Bed Needs A Makeover! No, seriously… like right now my comforter and pillow shams are ones I bought at Walmart when I FINALLY upgraded from a twin bed after college. Aka, long before I had a house that I was actually trying to decorate/make it look like adults live there 🙂 It’s so hard to choose but I think the Noe (in blue) or the Fillmore are my faves that would also go best with my house!

  1890. My bed needs a makeover! I like any pattern that isn’t “dog hair” – my husband bought our bedding before we met (6 years ago) to match his dog’s hair. Ugh. I’ve been thinking about something white and navy, like an ikat or japanese tie-dye (they are so sophisticated).

  1892. definitely needs a makeover…with a slobbering baby and an even more slobbery puppy (I know…the shame…we let him on the bed) plus a motorcycle-riding husband in construction, anything thats CLEAN and DURABLE is fantastic!!!
