Sometimes I dream of purging all my things and then just buying all new things. It is a bug called consumerism and I am ALL IN. Of course, I can’t do that because well…I like my things….and can’t get rid of anything. Like seriously. Packing peanuts are treasured. Empty diaper boxes….GOLD. Beauty products from 1996….I really should consider trashing those…but it would be oh-so-hard 🙂
But if something dreadful happened and I did lose all my precious items in a very dramatic and emotional way, these items would be there to soothe my wounds. Also…christmas is coming soon (so says Hobby Lobby) and you can feel free to buy me any and all of these items. Hint hint Jeremy Bower.
HOOKS, CHAIR, CORK BALL, CAPIZ BOX, FLOOR LAMP, SIDEBOARD FROM HEAVEN’S MOUTH, DRIFTWOOD HORSE, GOLDEN PRETZEL, CLAM SHELL, CAPIZ FLOOR MIRROR, SEED WALLPAPER
MEASURING CUPS, DRUZY KNOB, GEOMETRIC WALLPAPER, GIANT HAMMERED BOWL, LEATHER CHAIR, PENDANT LIGHT, TABLE LAMP, CAMPSIDE SILVERWARE, CORAL & NAVY WALLPAPER, EAT SIGN, AGATE BOOKENDS, NAVY PILLOW
Also, if someone could figure out how to send this to my fairy godmother so that she can wizard me up some of these goodies, I’d be forever in your debt 🙂
I have the gold pretzel bottle opener. It was a gift from a friend last year. Although I love it so much… it’s a real pain to use! I have cut my hand on a bottle cap trying to maneuver that thing. Beautiful and funky.. but functional no.
Dang. Don’t ruin my dream of pretzel everything 🙂

Now you have me drooling over that pendant light… so thanks.
That Golden Pretzel is the cutest thing I have seen in a while — but I just read the comments — OH NO! it can’t be true! I don’t know — its so cute that I may risk injury for it — especially for under $5!! 🙂
Me thinks the bug is called “greed”.
Ha! The first thing that stood out to me in this post was the pretzel. I thought to myself “oh that’s so Katie, she loooooves pretzels”…ya know, like I know you personally. Bummer to hear it’s not the best functional item…but oh so pretty!!! 🙂
I totally saw the word “duh” in the bookends after reading “eat”. Anyone else? Just me? Ok.
Totally. I always say I have to fight constantly consuming…both with money and with food 🙂

Oh goodness, yaaassss! I need everything but don’t want to give up anything! I want to start over with my furniture, like, yesterday, but it’s a little unreasonable {so my hubs says, but really what does he know, right?} I love everything on your list, as I’m painting my main living spaces a perfect color gray this weekend! Thanks for sharing and living in a bit of a dream world with me!!
Lol food gets me every stinkin’ time!
Y’know, if you buy a wall hook with 5 hooks attached, that means you’ll have to have another kid. 😉
Aaaaccckkk! That cork ball gives me the creeps. I’m being serious – a total case of heebie jeebies over here. I love your taste, but you can keep that cork ball.
I saw the giant clamshell at the Ballard Outlet in Roswell yesterday. You should make the trip- it’s worth it!
The measuring cups are adorable, and I would have solved a gift dilemma for me, but alas it is sold out! 🙁
Say “no” to the word “EAT”!! It’s over, no more word decor!!
love your blog!
We just moved, and lost all of our personal belongings during our move…. (furnitures, kids arts, photos and everything… we have four boys too, just like you guys!)
It is sad to lose the irreplaceable things, but to have a chance to start afresh is a rare opportunity. Now I am much more careful about our purchases.
be careful what you wish for 😉
I love the wooden horse especially. It was never intentional but come to think of it, I am collecting more and more horse paintings & figurines in my home!
I love, love love your selection !!!! I am currently Konmari-ing my home, and I would love to bring new beautiful objects in my house afterwards…
Hope your godmother or Jeremy finds this list 🙂
I really like the Pioneer Woman collection. I want those measuring cups too but they are out of stock at my local Walmart. Sad.
OH NO! I am so sorry to hear that! Is it possible that you might get them back?

Haha…it does look like a giant germ 🙂

Oh my – I love everything here!!! I just fulfilled a long-time goal of buying a beach house bungalow. I have about 100 clippings from mags and pins making up a mood board. I am biting at the bit to close in a few weeks and wake up on that first morning to revel in the 1400 sq foot blank canvas….an adults Christmas morning. 😉
