Fall is happening (even though the temperature has BARELY dropped) and I am HERE.FOR.IT. Fall is my favorite and it’s because the weather in Georgia is ridiculously hot during the summer and when it finally takes just the smallest dip, everyone feels like they can breathe again. Also the colors! The traditions! The activities! I love it so much that I even got married during the fall. And had two babies! (ok ok that last one wasn’t really intended for fall per se but it happened and we decided to keep the kids).
That being said – in the past I have shared our fall bucket list and over the years it has gotten a little tweaked so it’s high time to share it again.
Let’s commence doing all the things!
And if you want to download this list, I made one for you that doesn’t have my children’s names in it 🙂

Or you can click on either of the lists below and save them directly to your phone. I did two different versions for you guys because I have no idea what different phones need 🙂
What I do is I just save the photo to my phone under the favorites folder and then then as we accomplish the things, I pull it up and cross it off. That way I can keep track of it without losing a piece of paper.
But what I really want to talk about is – what is on your fall bucket list? Are you gonna drive through the mountains? Maybe you must make a pumpkin garland? Or perhaps it’s hand sewing all your kids costumes? I need to know!

Apple picking was on my list and I accomplished that this weekend! I also have carving pumpkins, going to an annual craft show and have a bonfire on there. And of course eat all the pumpkin treats!

Whyyyy is Corn Dawgs closing?!? I’m so sad for the yearly photo ops! I’ve taken by boys every year. Know of any places similar? We live in Lilburn, near your high point house! I heard Washington Farms and one out in Buford have similar activities. Love that corn pit!

Just found out about a place known for its waterfall hikes: Highlands NC. It’s not too far from you, and is popular with people in Atlanta. For me it’s more like 8 hours away, but I wonder if you have been, and if it would be worth the trip for me.

This list is perfect! Thank you so much for putting one together, and making it easy to save and bring up as the season goes on!

I’m handmade costumes for all of my kids for all of their Halloweens. This year, we’ll be on the road driving through Georgia and Tennessee. Yep, 4 kids, 2 adults, 1 Suburban, innumerable Waffle Houses from MN to FL and back. If anyone knows a good trick or treating spot along I-24, please let me know!! So it’s t-shirts and incredible masks for the road.

Washington Farms is where we are gonna go! I have visited in the spring a lot but this will be our first fall visit and I’ve heard good things!
