Dancing with Daddy

My boyfriend typically cringes at the thought of being on camera. 

He will definitely not like me posting this video of him dancing. 

But it melts me. 

this is one of the many little tiny itty bitty reasons why I love him. 

why I married him. 

why I would lay my life down for him over and over and over again.

why I choose him and always will until the day that I have no breath.

I love you honey.

You’ll look back on it and see the love your boyfriend has for you, and for Will, and your family. It’s the tiniest of moments that melt our hearts.   12. Beautiful! I cried when I watched this! My husband and I are unable to have biological kids and are currently in the process of adopting an infant. I pictured him when I saw this video…Thanks for brightening my day and reminding me that all of this will be worth it in the end!

  20. That’s so cute! It’s great to see daddies being tender with their sons, not just their daughters. I think it ultimately teaches boys to be wonderful husbands and fathers themselves. I love seeing my hubby with our son – even at less than 7mo, my son absolutely adores his daddy and watches his every move to the point of laughing when my husband burps. 🙂

    I love your blog-it’s a daily read for me but today it became something more than that. This video melts my heart (and I’m pretty sure my ovaries are crying). My husband and I have been having the “are we done being selfish enough to have kids” conversations lately.   34. I love that song! It’s on a baby lullaby CD i have called Sing Over Me! That CD got me through the newborn stage. I would sit in my baby’s nurseryfor hours… rocking, nursery, and crying (from the hormones) and thanking God over and over for our precious baby! And the video is precious!

  46. I am at work, sneeking this video, and now I am crying! My Hubs is the same, but its those little things that just make me melt! And I am a firm beleiver that anything you do to make your kidos happy is ok, that is the best part about having a baby! I get to act silly and have a reason!

I LOVE watching my hubby play with his daughter and take her on adventures using their imagination… or playing princess and she gets to dance with her prince (daddy of course).   75. Thank you for sharing such a pure moment. I feel the same way when I see my husband doing something with our boys & he doesn’t know I’m around. So many bad things go on in this world & sometimes I wonder why God bothers keeping us around…but then I see something like this & I know why He hasn’t given up yet.

  91. Okay… watched the video a couple of nights ago and teared up with everyone else. Went googling some of the lyrics to find the song and hit roadblocks. It was only a short time ago that I thought to read comments to see if anyone else had asked what it was. Sheesh, me!

    So then I googled the song title after reading your post and noticed that not only did the video come up on youtube.com, but also on something called godtube.com. There’s a Godtube.com????? Who knew???

    Such a precious video, katie.. and it’s a fabulous first daddy/son memory in your gorgeous new house!

  93. My babies are 23, 21, and 14.. It goes faster than anyone can ever describe and when I watched this video it made me think of Will in 20 years. He will be able to see the love his daddy always had. It made me think ” oh thats so sweet, they are dancing in the only home that little boy will know” It also didn’t “make my ovaries cry” and I thank God for that. LOL
    Sweet music.. I’ll check it out!

  96. seriously, you just made me cry at work. My little boy is 5 months old and my husband is so wonderful with him…it makes me want to go out and by a flip video camera to document such special moments.
