Laughter splurted out of me as I ordered new yumminess from Crate & Barrel. I may have sounded like a witch cackling over a freshly stewed pot of batwings. But that is to be expected. Afterall, I was practically stealing. I mean…not really. The prices were really good and I had a $50 giftcard in my possession (thanks to a very sweet mother-in-law). So the evil laugh ensued. whaa-ha-ha.
Wanna see what I ordered? No? What? Oh, I didn’t hear you 🙂
And the best part about this whole purchase was that I only had to pay $15 out of pocket! The fifteen bones covered shipping and taxes. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. I think I may have spent fifteen smackers on a bacon double cheeseburger before! okay – here was the breakdown (rounded up of course!)…
Aren’t you so jealous? I am. I am jealous of myself. if that is possible. I am green with envy. And I am probably ruined until the after Thanksgiving sales. From now on, the regular prices will just be monstrous. Speaking of monsters…have you scored any scary-awesome deals lately? Any prices so bewitching that they had you calling your “mummy”? i snagged curtain panels at a nearby outlet mall for $4 a piece 36×84! can you beleive it?!!! 4 of them were just perfect for a window in my living room that is actually WIDER than my sliding glass door!

Jealous!!! I am obsessed w/ C&B. I am even waiting to get married until I am “old enough” to register there without feeling bad at making my friends spend that kind of moo-la. But judging by those fabulous deals you found, I might be able to consider planning that big day around something less weird 🙂

Hi Emily – Yes, I do live kinda sorta near one…it’s about a thirty minute drive if there is not a lot of traffic. So if I can find great deals online without having to make the drive, it actually saves me money in the long run. Afterall, you can only imagine the amount of stuff that I would walk out with if the shipping cost didn’t exist!

Well, Itwernbo…my boyfriend understands that if he reacts negatively to a group of purchases that I will go AWAL on him. Seriously though…he is very supportive of my problem with collecting too many sets of dishes and table linens. Just call him an enabler 🙂 And no…I don’t really have a place to put everything but I figure that if I am gonna be a life long pack rat then I have to learn how to pack it into small spaces.

I loved your haul of goodies…especially at those prices. It is the middle of winter here (Australia) and I was thinking that a new pair of white sandals was in order for a trip to LA that I was making with my hubby.
Didn’t think that would be all that easy anyway with the shops all full of winter boots and shoes. My daughter needed new jeans and when we were waiting at the counter to pay for them I spotted a basket with three pair
s of very cute sandals…one pair white and in my size (10, I have rather large feet!)…and the best part, they were marked down from $29.99 to $1.00!!
I will admit they gave me a little blister as I strolled down Hollywood Blvd in tourist mode but at least it was only a $1.00 blister!

I bought the Mozza placemats last week too! I just got them in and I’ve been playing with place settings. Yes, I’m a dork.
I do really love the mini radish dish. So cute. Crate and Barrel has the most adorable things.

I just got a gallon of paint from Lowe’s today for FREE. Oh yeah I did. I picked out a mistint in a really cool celery color. It was $5 so I was super excited about it all ready. When I checked out the lady said, you just got this for free. That brand of paint (olympic maybe?) is having a special that you get $5 back (mail in rebate) when you buy a gallon. I was so giddy…actually I’m still giddy! 🙂 If you need some paint, run on out to Lowes and check out the mistints! I’ve painted our whole house with mistints. 🙂
