What is the deal with the Santa hat you’re wearing? Real or photoshop? I keep going back to it and trying to decide and gosh darn it, I can’t figure it out. It shouldn’t matter (it doesn’t matter) but I’m super curious so I’d love to know the answer if you’re willing to share 🙂 If it’s real, where did you get it and what is the material? It doesn’t look like cotton, more like vinyl or plastic, but maybe it’s just my eyes playing tricks on me. It’s super cute either way! You look great!!
It’s real but the color is photoshopped…it’s actually pink but the pink was CRAZY in the photos…so I darkened it to reddish for a more traditional look 🙂

Katie – I loved your idea of giving a crate as a gift basket for Christmas. I picked my brother in our family gift exchange and his wishlist consisted of a 15″ prybar, extension cords, trigger clamps, and a knife sharpener. While at Home Depot I found the crate that you had and was just about to buy it as a “gift basket” but realized that one of their 5 gallon buckets would probably get more use. Thanks for the great inspiration!
