In the last year or so I discovered that H&M is worth the hike to get clothes for Will. They don’t come out with new stuff all the time…so maybe once a year it justifies the hour and a half drive into the heart of Atlanta. And then I walk out feeling like he is gonna look so cool that Jeremy will applaud me every time he sees our little guys wardrobe.
I’m crushing on fewer things this year but crushing HARD. I need to get him that Henley shirt pronto. I don’t care if it is still 90 degrees out. The kid will be in long sleeves.
Oh and that center striped shirt? It’s sortof plain. basic. simple. AND GOES WITH EVERYTHING. I bought it last time I was there and at $7 it is a great price. It’s even cute under stuff…so those basic hoodies get cute-ified….tees get an infusion of pattern…and mom, you are a freakin’ superhero of clothing.
Hey Katie, I’m not sure which part of Atlanta y’all are in, but there are a couple more H&Ms that have great kids sections. There’s one at Cumberland Mall and another at Northpoint Mall. Depending on where you are, either could shave a good bit off your drive!
I’m toward Athens…I think there is one up near Mall of GA which would be closer…but it’s not near IKEA 🙂

hey katie! wanted to let you know that you can order h&m online in the states now. can save ya the drive:)
I have a three year old girl, and a 2 month little boy, so i have enjoyed these posts. We are getting an H&M at our local mall, first one in the state, so Im not familiar with their clothing. Does it wear well? It all looks adorable.
Did you see that H&M’s website allows orders now? (FINALLY?!) You almost don’t need a car to get the clothes if they’re delivered to your house (almost…obviously I’m very lazy).
You can now order online too! Hurray! I just got my boy the striped shirt and the faux Converse last week plus a couple other things.
I have that center shirt too. It goes with everything! Before it got hot I had him wearing it with the brightly colored pants they have. Super cute. Love H&M. And when their stuff goes on sale…it goes on SALE.
I have never looked for boys clothes there before even though I have bought stuff for my 11 yr old daughter. These look fantastic and I think I am going to go shopping tomorrow and buy them all!
FYI- At the JCPenny’s around us (IN) there are TONS of baby/kid summer clothes marked down to $1 with an extra 25% off. And they’re cute! Pretty sure my MIL cleared the shelves, ha.
Yes, there is one in the Mall of GA… I’m struggling to remember any kids clothing there, but that could just be because I’ve never had a reason to pay attention. 🙂
Fairly well. Better than Old Navy in my opinion…about the same as Carters or The Children’s Place. It tends to be more trendy but the material can be a little on the thin side so check for that when shopping.

The MOG H&M doesn’t have kids clothes anymore. 🙁 They did when they frist opened years ago, but that changed…
I go to the Atlanta Station store for kids’ stuff. Their selection is KILLER!
That’s a bummer. I never actually have been to the MOG one because I always justify a quick stop at the Atlantic Station store whenever I go visit the mothership…aka Ikea.

H&M has online ordering now!! I almost died when I saw that. Love their kids clothes, hate going to the store!
I love that we have an HM in every town here in Germany 🙂 A friend of mine that just went back stateside said they are going to be doing online shopping for the states soon but not sure when.
Love the photoshopped paint color in the living room! I have a stalker like crush on the color Gray. Looks like Rockport Gray, what exactly is it?
I LOVE H&M for my four year old boy. Those long sleeve striped Ts. So soft, thick, and the sizing lasts at least two years. They also have great graphic shirts without licensed characters which my son loves. We found a pirate shirt, complete with eye patch, that he wears every time it is clean.
Also, the best girls underwear, bar none.
And finally they are online, so I don’t have to trek to go shopping.
My son is the same age as Will and is on the small side (I’m guessing from pics that Will is too, but obviously, I don’t really know.) When trying to order online, H&M offers size 1 1/2-2 years and 2-4 years. Which size do you get for Will? My son is 3 and 2T in other stores fit him perfectly right now. (Just for reference). Thanks!
I have never posted in comments before, but I wanted to make sure you knew that H&M now ships! I am beyond excited about this as I have two little men in my life who look adorable in their clothing!
Anyways, love your blog!
NEED those shoes!!! Time to go shopping for my 5 & 3 yr old boys 🙂 It’s so hard to find cute clothes for boys, so thanks for sharing!
You can order online now!! I just recently discovered this for my little guy. Its AWESOME!
Unfortunately the one at Northpoint Mall doesn’t have a kids section. bummer. Although perhaps that is a good thing because I would be there all.the.time.
Perfect! Thank you for this post. I have not been in H&M since my little guy was a baby and wasn’t thrilled with the findings. These picks are adorable and worth another look.
Perfect! Thanks for the post. I haven’t been to H&M in a while but this is worth another trip!
Gosh if only it had a dinosaur with roar coming out of his butt I’d be sold! (: But seriously H&M is my go to for my 10 month old and I also am loving the JcPenny line Joe Fresh!
I love the canvas tennies. The elastic laces and Velcro make them SO EASY to get on, even our twin 3 year olds can do it! They’re the only shoes I pay full price for; even at $13, their worth it! And, added bonus, people are always commenting on how cute they are.
Ugh, we live in Canada, and H&M here is super expensive for kids clothes. It is SUPER cute but too expensive.
Okay, why have I never thought to shop at H&M for kids clothes before?!? What great prices. And here I am waiting for old navy to get some cute fall stuff when H&M already has it.
Yup – my online order just arrived today. Got tons of stuff for both of my boys – including that henley and the navy striped shirt!
Yesssss…the mothership. I’m both proud and embarrassed that our daughter could identify IKEA by site by the time she was two.
Well, Will is skinny and tall…so he wears 4T shirts at Old Navy and 3T shorts (but cinched tight at the elastic waist!) and he just outgrew the 1 1/2-2 in sweaters which ran a smidge big. He is 2-4 years in everything else. I did notice that the clothes (except for sweaters) are a little ‘skinny’ and shrink just a bit. Hope this helps!

Just photoshopped…not based on anything real.

Bummer!

I’ll have to check them out, I find that Old Navy’s items can’t really stand the test of time (2 washings and it’s falling apart).
I didn’t read through all of your comments, but are H&M kids clothes soft? Sometimes I find their adult stuff to be stiff and cheap feeling (I was able to justify this because they were so inexpensive). What I love about Old Navy clothes is that even though they’re cheap, they’re so soft and cozy. I’m interested to know what you think! I used to live super close to an H&M so I would have been able to go check it out myself, but now I’m even father away from one than you are!
I think their kids line is new!
Ok, thank you so much!
love reading your site but these spinsored fillers are getting to be a bit much. just being respectfully honest.
These aren’t sponsored posts Joanne. Katie always states that a post is sponsored up-front per FTC guidelines. I’ve read every one of them, and haven’t seen anything saying it was sponsored. I personally love these short fashion posts. Keep them coming Katie!
I love H&M as well and the best part is that now they have online sales!!! It is awesome to be able to shop for adorable kids clothes from the comfort of my own home, laptop in my lap and pjs on!!
I am in LOVE with the kids clothes at H&M. So stylish but still classic and VERY affordable. I would compare their quality with that of Gap. I’ve found that their kid stuff runs big so I recommend ordering a size down.
My son is 10 months old but is just about fitting into 12 months. This is when boy clothes options actually start getting cuter! I keep forgetting about H&M’s kids’ stuff. Thanks for the reminder. Also, that trapper hat?! My. Son. Needs.
i dont think you are correct.
If you use the Wrapp App you can send a free $6 gift card to your husband and he can send you back another $6 gift card and that would make clothes pretty cheap!!!
Fun idea!

They aren’t sponsored, just Katie sharing what Katie loves! 🙂 She said in another post’s comments that she had been getting a LOT of questions about where she gets Will’s clothes, so hence these posts! She said they’re bonus to what she normally posts, so we aren’t being deprived, just bonused 🙂
