GIVE ME M-OAR. The wood item that gets the most use in my house isn’t actually used by me…….it’s the selection of sticks that my Mom gives my dog from her maple tree trimmings. Happy is my rescue terrier who loves being busy – right down to her teeth — so these sticks have helped her stop gnawing on the other wood items in my house (esp. Great Grandma’s rocking chair). Thanks Mom, for giving me a better alternative…..your option beats playing doggy disciplinarian all day with a stick (HAR!).

We have an end-grain cutting board that’s i regular rotations (it’s the bf’s go-to board). I do have a soft spot for my grandmother’s wooden spoon. You know the ones that are so smooth and worn with ages of use? I love that thing.

Hands down the most used wooden item in our home is the cutting boards.
However, the most loved is the handmade wooden bread bowl my grandfather had made for me before he passed away, the one he engraved a note on the bottom of 🙂
