Day 2 was a quirky Surf & Turf day. Surf cause we did alot of this:
and then when Tara, Lori, my mom and I wanted to get out of the house (also known as “the compound”) we decided that it was time for a trip to the Gift Shop. Being a typical 6 year old, Braden overheard and got uber excited.
Before we knew it, us gals were loaded up in the van with three little ones chanting “GIFT SHOP! GIFT SHOP! GIFT SHOP!” We even took a picture in front of the mermaid gift shop we stopped at:
Can you see the kids on the bench? They practically cried having to sit and wait (and not go in) while the photo was taken.
I think this is the only time in history that kids chanted for a gift shop visit.
Anyway – we left with tons of stuff (t-shirts, tank tops, magnets, postcards, sunglasses, autograph books, toys, and Disney pens). Cole was already set with a cool pair of shades for the next day at Disney:
so Braden and Clara had to get some too to protect their wee little retinas from the searing sun:
The gift shop experience ended in true Surf and Turf style – steaks and shrimp for dinner! It was delish…and the perfect way to prepare for the chicken fingers and burgers that Disney serves.
Stay on the line – Day 3 was the most magical 🙂
