It’s almost time to go back to school and honestly – every option has it’s pros and cons right now. My kids however CAN NOT WAIT. Especially now that we got some cute new clothes! I never remember being so into new clothing at their age – but I swear that they get more excited about shoes and shirts than going to a theme park!
Checkered backpack – jeans – sneaker boots – monster shirt – vest – joggers – sneakers
All four of my boys got to check out loads (AND LOADS AND LOADS) of options online for Walmart clothing and backpacks and gear and did some serious retail therapy! I loved seeing their little personalities shine and we wanted to share four looks for you all. I divided them up into schooling options – but these could also work for every little fashion models!
blue polo – khakis – jacket – basketball shoes – monster shirt – vest
THE COZY KIDDO
Checkered backpack – jeans – sneaker boots – monster shirt – vest – joggers – sneakers
Max LOVED his monster outfit and I personally thought the coolest part was that it is part of the 365 Garanimals set where everything can be mixed together and still matches. I chose these gray joggers for ultimate comfort and paired it with a zippered mouth monster shirt (He loved this feature and it would be a great spot to put a mask for between errands!).
The reversible vest was so fun since it had bold colors on both sides. And his new backpack was an amazing price and oh-so-cute.
THE HANDSOME UNIFORM
polo – khakis – belt – velcro shoes
Weston is sporting a super durable uniform look. If your kid has a uniform requirement – this would be for you! We do not have one but we still use these options all the time. We call these “church clothes” and when church starts meeting again – we will definitely be putting these to good use!
polo – khakis – belt – velcro shoes
I love that these pants are treated to resist stains and the price on this polo is too good! Also can I just tell you how much I love tops like these!
polo – khakis – belt – velcro shoes
We wear them to a nice dinner out during the summer and under jackets when it cools down. It’s definitely a must for my boys!
THE ENERGIZED ATHLETE
My boys are constantly wearing athletic clothing and honestly I can’t believe the prices for pieces in this outfit! The shoes were a hands-down favorite!
Good quality and the look was sporty and bold!
The thing that Will loved was the jacket – he said it was very comfortable and he liked that it wasn’t too heavy.
THE PHOTO READY COOL KID
Checkered backpack – jeans – sneaker boots
I wanted to get an outfit together that boys could wear on the first day of school and it would be casual but not sloppy. Honestly – this would be an outfit I would use for a photo shoot so moms – take notes!

Also – these shoes are almost identical to the ones we buy EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR at Walmart and the ones that so many of you ask me about. This years version has a little navy details and I think they go perfectly with jeans.
THE PRESCHOOLER
You didn’t think I would leave this little cutie patootie out, did you?!
Since Ella is supposed to go to preschool for the first time this year, I wanted to make sure she got treated to a few new things too and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this look.
I mean….can I please get this in my size? Maybe I could pass on the unicorn pocket – but otherwise I’m sold!
She loved her new water bottle (we buy these bubba bottles every year from Walmart because they are the easiest to clean, spill proof and are super durable!)
And I also picked up a few things for me….a planner, a couple great candles (SERENITY NOW! is definitely what I will be screaming when it comes to any chance of digital learning), the cutest travel cup and Walmart even had pocket size Lysol. I will definitely be spraying this on my kids shoes, backpacks or books they bring home.
Sunshine planner – Apple Pie Candle
Speaking of supplies – I made a crazy list of TONS of school items because I have a feeling that transitions are in our future. So I made sure I picked up options no matter what our local school said. We want to be prepared!
Camo lunchbox – Bubba water bottle – composition book – basketball pencil pouch
So I hope you love the things I shared – and remember that you can find all your little one’s back-to-school stuff at Walmart!
Checkered backpack – Super Mario backpack
And just as a reminder – there are LOADS of other great items (online too!) so make sure you check it out before too late!
