All Bower Power Updates

Just wanted to share with you that ABP is going through some changes.  It’s kinda like blog puberty.  Ever since the move to WordPress, I have slowly been updating some features around these parts that hopefully will bring ABP up to speed with my chaotic brainwaves.  Believe me…it is complete chaos in that brain of mine.  And because chaos loves company, I wanted to share some of those things with you.  

First – I have made some updates to the pages that currently live under our header.  Slowly but surely I am adding the archived crafts to the crafts page, the archived projects to the projects page, and even added some more updated photos to the house tour (our crib page).  The source list is still stuck in development…mostly because I am lazy. 

Also, there are a couple new pages – GRUB and PHOTOGRAPHY.  The Grub page is for finding easy recipes easily 🙂 And I plan on featuring more recipe specific posts that show how to make rookie meals that taste delish.  And the Photography page is right now just featuring the Critters of the Week.  But in the future, I hope to link to sites that provide information for beginners (like me).  As for you paparazzi out there – please make sure that you give your input…I have been loving it more than Jessica loves Proactive.  

Lastly the Photoshopping Fun page has been updated with the couple photoshopped posts that I have shared so far…BUT…and get excited with me here….I HAVE LOTS MORE.  You guys have been sending me oodles of exteriors, walls, rooms, and furniture to change up and I am really pumped to share them.  So remember, when the altered photos go up – your input (whether it is a suggestion or a vote) is very important.   Afterall, several brains are better than one!

Ok – now that the page bar has been updated – I also wanted to let you know about some of the fun links that I have listed on the sidebar.  Under the header FAVORITES is a bunch of photos that can take you directly back to posts that may be old or new and that include some of the fun events that I have gotten to experience.  I expect that this column will grow over time so check in every so often to see what memory lane brings 🙂   oh oh oh…and don’t worry – I am bringing my wishlist (hint hint Jeremy), Project Appreciation and 15 under 50 back now that I figured out how to change the sidebar 🙂  I am so clever I would totally bootie dance with myself right now.

Lastly – I have gotten many, many emails and comments from people letting me know that in Google Reader, the new WP blog is showing up as TITLE UNKNOWN.   Don’t fret my pet (holla Urkel alert)…this can be easily changed.  Simply click on the new ABP subscription and under FOLDER SETTINGS – select RENAME SUBSCRIPTION.  Then you can name it anything you want…call it “Poopie Doopie Blog” if you want.  

Finally, Uber-Lastly – I appreciate each and every one of you who has taken the time to change their links from allbowerpower.blogspot.com to allbowerpower.wordpress.com – you have given me goosebumps of love 🙂  And if you are still one of those remaining friends that haven’t – well, I know where you live (not really) and I am not above bribing you with bacon.
