Disclaimer – This is a sponsored post brought to you by The Bouqs Company. All opinions are 100% my own.
I wanted to share with you a couple VERY IMPORTANT things.
#1….do not forget my birthday ahemjeremybowercoughcough. love you.
#2…do not forget to send flowers to your mother, your mother in law, your grandmother and your sister
#3…The Bouqs Company is the best way to do #1 and #2 (just make sure you take a selfie after ordering with the hashtag #WINNING!)
Seriously. Last year I told you about this fantastic company and I want you to understand that I am a fan. A big big BIG fan. We use this company ourselves. To send my grandmother flowers. The woman who is very discerning and insisted that I register for china for my wedding. And then bought me the remaining sets that I didn’t receive at showers. That actually happened. So if we think that they are good enough for dear ole Mummum Tini then they are amazing.
Let me tell you about Bouqs.com if you don’t know what the crazy I am talking.
The Bouqs Company is a new flower delivery service that’s easy, fresh, and beautiful. The product you will receive is exactly like the picture on the website, no bait-and-switch, and never any teddy bears or cheap candy. The flowers are grown on the side of a volcano in Ecuador….on rich soil that gets loads of sunshine so the flowers are SPLENDID. When you make your order, they are cut THAT day and shipped the VERY NEXT day so you get to receive them sooner and enjoy them longer.
Do you see my roses? I got them ten days ago. And I didn’t put them in water for two days. I was waiting for those dark pink ones to really open up to accentuate that face vase and some of them just did not feel like it was their time to de-perkify. That is how fresh these puppies are.
But what really sells me on The Bouqs Company is the fact that there are no hidden costs. I did a quick google search of other flower delivery services…and let me tell you, it’s crazy how other companies tack on delivery fees that are more than the actual product. You may think you are getting a great deal till it’s time to check out and then BOOM…you are spending $50 on three roses and a couple lilies with greenery. It’s a sham.
You know how much I love a deal. Well, The Bouqs Company does no upsells or hidden costs and they offer FREE DELIVERY. You can get that perfect gift for Valentines day – a dozen roses shipped for only $40.
They are even offering a special for Valentines day (this offer actually expires in one week so you should probably order now!)….use the code VDAYBLOOMS to receive 20% off your order.
So go do that….don’t forget the selfie…and then come back here and tell me which DIY vase you want to see first….the face vase? the red and white striped vase? the metallic gold verbiage vase? Or the silver anthro knockoff?

The metallic gold verbiage vase for sure!! I feel like the red and white striped is a vase covered with a cute sock! #amiright ??? 😉

The flowers are pretty, but have you considered the environmental impact of shipping flowers from so far away? Buy local. Support your local businesses and reduce your carbon footprint.

Please share about the metallic gold verbiage vase first! I was planning to ask about it before I even finished reading the post!

I don’t usually comment, but just had to here. I have used the Bouqs before and was SORELY disappointed! Not only were the flowers not as pictured, but they were of sub-par quality and only lasted a couple of days. I’ve had roses easily live more than a week from other places. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and opportunity to fix the problems, and their customer service department was terrible to deal with. They said they would give me a discount for a *future* order rather than make the one I had right. Do some internet research — I found I am not alone in being very dissatisfied with them. More power to you for your beautiful flowers, but I would never try them again.

I’ve used Bouqs and seriously, they are amazing and beautiful flowers! At the end of the day, though, I didn’t like the impact my pretty flowers made on my carbon footprint. The energy used to transport these beauties to your door was just not worth it to me and I decided I’d rather spend a little more money (less in a lot of cases) and use local florists for the area I’m sending them. I’ve used family owned florists for delivery all on-line in Florida, upstate NY, Colorado, Alabama, and even Hilton Head Island and am quite happy to not only be gifting gorgeous flowers, but to be “buying local”, even from my PC!
Oh – and the metallic gold verbiage vase, of course!!!
Bethany says
The flowers are GORGEOUS, but WHERE DID YOU GET THAT VASE? (the forever and ever one)
Nicole D says
Thank you for the code! Just ordered flowers from my 8 month old to his grannies for Valentine’s Day! They will be delivered on a day he is being watched by each of them. Looking forward to a great gift, and not having to remember the holiday in two weeks!

I’m sad to say my one and only experience with them was less than expected. The flowers weren’t fresh and they didn’t last. Of course I ordered some exotic bouq for my mom and should have stuck with something less complicated. I was disappointed. She would never tell me she was, but I know she was.

I love having fresh flowers so so much! My mom owned a flower shop when I was growing up so I always had a fresh bouquet in my room. I really miss it! I wonder if they deliver in Canada!

the verbiage vase, OMG

Thank you! Just bought some blooms for my cousin who’s going through a difficult break up. I love her to pieces, and it’s nice to know that what she’ll receive is what I see, instead a box of half-dead flowers like I’ve experienced in the past with other companies.

I love the the metallic gold verbiage vase!

OR Shop local and seasonally and support the earth by not requiring that your flowers travel thousands of miles in a polluting aircraft!

I sent some to my rose-fanatic sister for xmas and she said they were the longest lasting, prettiest ones she’d ever had, and she buys herself fresh flowers all the time.
