It’s a Breeze!

So in true hoarding fashion, we have a few pack n plays.  We have one my parents bought (we keep it over at their house for when Will needs a nap)….we have one here (for guests and for when I need Will to stay put)…and Jeremy’s folks have one (it stays in Chattanooga for when we visit).  So when the folks behind the new playard called The Breeze contacted us, we were like…um…yeah…awkward silence…we don’t need this…aren’t all playards the same?! 

And then we watched the video.  And the 2×4 of realization smacked me across the face. 

This one is different. 

First of all…it’s actually sleek and looks like it’s not from the 80’s.  And don’t let our leggings fool you.   We like 2012.   And why do baby gear manufacturers feel the need to put Winnie the Pooh on ALL the options?  Hello!  These things have to live in our houses!

And on top of the way it looks…it actually doesn’t cause a stomach ulcer to set up.  In fact, it’s ridiculously easy.  Like I wanna apologize to my mom for making her go through setting up the old one because this one puts it to shame.     Check out my home video to show ya how easy this one actually is…

And yes, Will is obsessed.  We told him it was for the new baby (the first thing we really got for the Little Baby) but he is convinced that it’s his…and that he can make a tent out of it…and change his Zebah in the changing pad.

    there are all kinds of baby items that make my life easier….like the bumbo, exersaucer, etc. but i think my favorites are simple: my son’s pacifier and my daughters lovey….can’t do without them!

  2. It’s a breeze! We are expecting our first baby in March. So far we purchased a cute shirt that says I’m crabby. It is my first and favorite baby item so far!

  8. It’s a breeze! I love cribs… am I weird? There is just something about a beautiful piece of furniture that my baby will be spending Sooooo much of their time in, that gets me every time. I sometimes wish I could leave a nursery put together forever, even after the kids are grown!!

  10. It’s a Breeze!!! My favorite baby item is the rock n play sleeper. That was a lifesaver for the first few months of my daughter’s life.

  12. It’s a breeze! Our favorite baby item isn’t even a baby item-it’s the ipad! Loaded full of Baby Einstein in the baby stage and now Elmo, it has saved us during many an outing:)

    Favorite baby item… definitely the exercaucer!! Hours of fun for everyone!! Ok just for 5 month old baby; but momma enjoys the free hands to do dishes or eat bon bons or what have you 😉

  21. It’s a breeze! My favorite baby item is a kneeling pad for the bath tub. It is cushy on the knees and wraps up and around the tub, too, so it’s cushy on your arms also. Used it for over two years now and don’t see an end in sight!

    My favorite baby item will always be receiving blankets. Baby loves them, I love them, and you can still use them as rags after baby’s all grown – a baby item that truly gives you your money’s worth.

  24. It’s a breeze! I think my favorite baby item of all time is the bumbo. Seeing chubby little thighs coming out of those leg hole has got to be the funniest/cutest thing ever!

    Ditto on the overuse of cartoons on all kid’s things — it’s even made its way to maternity clothes (just because i’m pregnant doesn’t mean I want to wear a goofy nightshirt!).

    With my 15 mo. old I have loved, loved, loved Aden + Anais swaddle blankets. Worth every overpriced penny.

IT’S A BREEZE!! let’s see…..favorite baby item…..i know it might be a little weird, but i’d have to say my boobs! on our second kid and after being put through the ringer for 2 years with the first and then 5 months with the newest one, i think they’re holding up pretty well!! plus, you can take them anywhere, you don’t have to worry about waiting for a bottle to warm up, and they never get lost!! now, the best baby item that i have been gifted or bought would have to be my ergo baby carrier. didn’t have it with baby #1, but am SO loving it with baby #2!

  29. It’s a breeze! The pacifiers with the indent for your finger to help baby grab on (and paci clips).

  32. It’s a breeze! I’m an expecting momma too but for us, its our first. I don’t really have a product that I have tried and love but I did find a stroller at Target that folds down really easily (after taking 15 minutes to figure out how to fold down a normal one in the middle of the store) and totally added it to our registry. 😛

    I think my favorite baby item is the bundle me. it’s so nice to just throw, I mean, gently place them in the stroller and know that the little ones will be toasty warm 🙂

  34. It’s a breeze! I love my son’s little tractor. It moves on it’s own, makes noises and even sings. Keeps him busy and entertained ;o)

  35. It’s a breeze! I take my 3 month old to work with me as a moms morning out teacher so our baby K’tan wrap is my favorite baby product right now! It also allows my hands to be freed up for my two year old!

    My favorite baby item is our Britax BReady stroller. That thing is the mack daddy of strollers enableing us to use it as a double stroller whenever we have another baby. Britax is known to have great products and after purchasing the stroller and carseat, I love them more than any other stroller brand out there.

    My favorite baby item is the Baby Bjorn Balance (bouncer chair.) It’s another one of those “stylish” baby items that fits well into my home decor, plus, my baby loved it!

  46. It’s a Breeze! My favorite baby item is my BumGenius Diaper sprayer. I could not live without it. Earlier this year, the pin came out of the handle and I had to wait for a replacement pin… living without it for a week was a nightmare!

  47. It’s a breeze! I think my favorite baby product is my umbrella stroller. I can’t even remember the brand, but I love that I can just keep it in the trunk for the moment I think “Oh I wish I had a stroller” and then it’s there!

    I don’t have any kids (yet!) but I do know that shopping for friends’ kids is hard…because there is so much great stuff, I want to get it all! 🙂 I do think that the Bumbo and the Boppy are great inventions! 🙂

  57. I have a MamaRoo and let me tell you, It’s a breeze to put my daughter to sleep in it! She is a little older now, almost one and we went to a cabin and took our pack-n-play and that.. wasnt a breeze. I would love to win one of these!!!

    I don’t have any favorite baby products just yet; our little one is still cooking (due in late November).

  61. It’s a Breeze! Wow this looks amazing! I am due with baby #4 next week and this would come in very handy–and would look waaaaaay better than our ugly pack & play! Speaking of favorite baby gear, my favorite would have to be high-quality swaddling blankets. Lightweight for summer, flannel for winter, they are a must!!

    My favorite baby product has definitely been the jumperoo- my little guy starting jumping somewhere between 4 and 5 months, and still asks to get in it at 14 months!

  73. My favorite baby item is Freddie the Firefly! He kept my 10 month old daughter company during our flight the Philippines. It was her first trip to her Mommy’s country of birth! The trip went so smoothly. It’s a breeze!

  74. I would love to win the 4moms Breeze! My baby doesnt have a playard. But, she does have the Fisherprice snugabunny swing! The makers of this swing are going straight to heaven, it is AMAZING! It makes nap time,( and doing laundry, dishes, showering, ect.) so easy- It’s a breeze!

    And my favorite baby product is the Woombie! Definitely the best swaddler and gave us many nights of great sleep once we found it!

  76. It’s a breeze! Our favorite baby item would have to be our Angelcare baby monitor. We love the peace of mind it gives us and it’s stylish to boot! Plus, it’s good for years…. especially when he learns to crawl out of his crib soon!

    My favorite baby gear was definitely the boppy pillows. Having twins made those things worth their weight in gold!

  82. It’s a breeze! The “O” Ball from Target will never get old….for kids or adults. I have one at my house for when my nephew visits (of which the pack and play would be SO helpful for) and my husband and I find ourselves throwing it back and forth some times when the nephew isn’t even over! 🙂

    My favorite baby item right now is a woven wrap. I love just being able to wrap up and snuggle, and still have hands free for play time with my toddler.

  84. It’s a breeze! My favorite baby item when my son was a baby was his bouncer. He would contently sit and watch me or nap all day sitting in his bouncer. This time around (Due sept. 23rd!) I am really excited to use my Aden and Anais swaddle blankets.

    Our favorite baby item is our Chan! Both my 2 year old and my 5 year old loved it! (they actually both still play with it like crazy when they see it! LOL)

  94. I couldn’t do without my Fisher Price Grow with me Rockers. They were great with my twins for feeds and a safer place to put them instead of on the floor with my rambunctious three year old. We are still using them, and according to the weight limit, my three year old can sit in them.

  96. ‘Its a breeze’…..Nik loves what I like to call her ‘stuffed animal family’…big bird, raggedy ann and doggie…I call them her stuffed animal family, well b/c, I’m a red head, my husband is tall with a schnoze and we have a dog. She sleeps with them every night and takes them out of her crib every morning. How sweet is that?!

  97. oh how cute was that video! 🙂 love how you had to lift will by his legs to help him finish pushing the button. “it’s a breeze!” we don’t have a baby yet, but we have set up many pack and plays in our house for visitors, and i love how easy this one looks! as far as favorite baby things go…. the moby wrap and the sophie teether do seem to be pretty handy! looking forward to seeing pictures of your little man when he arrives, too!

  103. It’s a breeze!! My favorite baby item is little and cheap—the plastic bath cup made by Munchkin! It’s about $3 and the plastic is super flexible. It doesn’t hurt baby if you accidentally drop it on them or poke them with it 🙂

    I was a HUGE swaddler! I always say if it was OK to swaddle my 2yo I would! The tighter the better 🙂

    There are so many great baby products! I have to say that my current favorite is our exersaucer. I totally thought it was not necessary to have one, but I absolutely love it!

    Seriously this thing looks so cool, and right now my pack and play is my go to item for my 18 month old. She is currently the youngest of 4 and we live in close quarters so we use it for naps and bedtime. We also use it for vacations, visits to the in-laws, and just to contain her while I try to run a vacuum or cook dinner 🙂 This Breeze would certainly come in handy as mine is impossible to open and close and transport!

    my favorite baby item is by far the Angelcare Monitor. It definitely gives you a little peace of mind when you walk out of your baby’s room after you put them down. And of course knowing the temp in their room is an added bonus!

    Oh man, my favorite item would be hard to put my finger on since I won’t officially enter into parenting until October… but right now I’m in love with little boy shoes. I get how incredibly impractical it is to have a baby in stylish shoes when they can’t even roll over, but something about old man boat shoes on tiny toes makes my heart melt!

    With twins there are lots of things you grow to love…we love love love(d) our Rock n Plays for the itty bitty twins to sleep and nap in instead of a bassinet or PnP that took up too much room so we could keep them close to us at night. They are also great for reflux (one of ours has it). They are now in their nursery and our little girl sleeps in her crib but our little boy still uses his next to his crib 🙂 This PnP would be awesome and easy to use!

  124. Unrelated to the pack n play, which is spectacular by the way – but where did you get that cute little zebra?? We recently finally got rid of the pac in the crib at night but I’d love to get Cohen a super cute stuffed animal that he can basically have for all time, and I’m mad crushin’ on that Zebah!

  125. It’s a breeze! I loved my muslin swaddle blankets. Never had any for #1, #2 would stop crying half way through a swaddle and be asleep with in a minute, until she was NINE months old. And even after one, I could still swaddle her arms for her to fall asleep.

    also anything made from organic cotton or bamboo velour. So very very soft.

    I really like my amazing carrier as far as useable abay gear goes. I have the Cybex 2.Go and it has a pretty high weight limit, size adjusters to custom fot the carrier to the babe, many convertable possibilities and cool fashionable colors. THE BEST PART is that the hip placement is great for baby and the weight of the child is also placed on the parent’s hips not on the back. I have 2 and gave my sister a beautiful blue one when she had her baby this year.

    I never did find a play yard that was useable enough. This looks like ”It’s a breeze!” . I would get a LOT of use out of this.

    Love how easy it is to put together…we’ve just started looking for baby items now that we’re expecting our first little one…I’ll definitely be perusing this website.

    My favorite baby item? So far these tiny little boat shoes I bought…they’re so tiny, how could you NOT love them??

    I really liked our Chicco car seat. It was soooo easy to install
    and because it rocks, we were able to put our lil’ one to sleep
    even while at a restaurant.

  130. It’s a breeze!! I don’t actually have a favorite baby item since I don’t have kids yet, but my husband and I plan to start trying when he gets back from Afghanistan but I figure it’s never too early to start hoarding 🙂

  132. It’s a breeze! I think one of the best baby items are the sleep sacks. While they make your baby look funny/huge, they keep them all bundled…and sleeping!

  135. It’s a breeze! I love a nice diaper bag. Is mean not one that has Disney characters on it, a pretty one. You shouldn’t have to sacrifice style just because you are a mom.

    truth time: i dont have any kids. i’m not prego. but i remember my little brothers pack n play (from the 90s) and how much of a pain it was to set up and how many times it pinched me and i am inexplicably intrigued by this new fangled packnplay…

  144. It’s a breeze! My 7 month baby boy loves his jumparoo. And so do I! He plays while I cook dinner. Once he’s crawling (any day now), we will need more ways to keep him confined for those times when mom and dad can’t be down playing with him and keeping him out of trouble. The Breeze would be PERFECT!

  147. I don’t have a favorite baby toy…I just want to have another baby! We have an almost 8 year old daughter and we’ve been trying for over a year for a second bambino. There is so many new baby items on the market now. I hope I get a chance to buy some AND win this play yard!!

    By far my favorite “must have” is the Johnny Jump Up. Keeps them in sight, but stationary, and happy–for HOURS if needed. (Not that I’ve ever done that or anything….)

    We had friends stay with us this past weekend and they had a super awesome playard just like this one…small, easy to set up, light weight, not too bad on the eyes, etc. and I have been raving about it ever since!

  158. Its a breeze! My favorite baby item is baby wipes! So many uses, I have a 4 year old, 22 month old, and a 3 month old. We use a lot of baby wipes in this house.

  163. Its a breeze! I really really really loved my Boppy pillow. Like I had a mini love affair with it. It really made breastfeeding easier for me. When it wasnt in use to support the girls it was a pillow. Loved it. (Id also love to try this Breeze!)

My favorite itty bitty baby item was of course the swaddle me blankets. Little One took every nap and snooze in that thing until she was 4 months old!

    Love our AngelCare Baby monitor. Allowed me to sleep through the night without freaking out about whether or not our baby was still breathing.

  170. It’s a breeze! My favorite baby item is a MIRACLE BLANKET! These swaddle blankets are amazing. I love how they keep the little ones swaddled and cozy. I’m pretty sure all my kids slept through the night so easily because of Miracle Blankets. I always buy them for my pregnant girlfriends.

  174. that thing is awesome!!! my son broke his eddie bower play yard when he was only 14mo old from trying to climb in it- yes in. So his little brother never had one- the shame.
    It’s a breeze! My favorite baby item would have to be the Ergo. Best money spent for sure. I still use it to go hiking with my 3yr old, little legs can only go so far 🙂

    I’m pregnant with my first, so I don’t have a ton of experience with all of the awesome baby items out there yet. However, I did work in the infant room of a daycare center for 5 years during (and a little after) college. With baby to teacher ratios of 5:1 or 12:2, I couldn’t have survived without the bouncer.   209. It’s a breeze! My favorite baby item that we use (for my 1st and now #2 who is 11 days old) are weewee pads on the changing table- YUP, the kinds you use for puppy training! We cut them in half and use them over the changing pad cover…these girls both poop sneeze(d) and I was changing those covers daily- and with baby #1 I didn’t have a washing machine! Saved us lots of cleanup time!

Our favorite baby item right now is the home made moby-style wrap that we use to keep him cuddled and cozy while we get some chores done on the weekends!

    My boy loves his stuffed moose named Mortimer. It’s intended to be on his stroller- but he loves it so much it’s always in his hands… or mouth… or anywhere else that he can manage to put it. It rattles, it squeaks, it crunches- it does everything to hold his attention when momma starts to bore him!

    My favorite baby item has to be my son’s baby Einstein all around the world sit and play. It helps educate him in different languages and helps with his hand eye coordination. It also gives me a few moments to handle business while he is playing 🙂

    My favorite baby item was our bouncy seat. Our son refused to sleep lying flat for the first three months, and if not for that seat I would never have gotten more than three hours of sleep at a stretch. We took it *everywhere* for months.

    I have been a mother for a total of 5 weeks now and in that time my favorite item(s) have been the (overpriced) muslin blankets as well as the hospital blanket that JFG came home in. I thought it was cruel to wrap him up like that but soon found out that it allowed me a tiny bit more sleep. If the legs are a flailing the boy is a-waking. *sigh* I did the opposite of a lot of first time mothers I’m familiar with – I under-purchased items b/c I don’t want to purchase the wrong thing. We’re making do as we go but good grief – there are so many overly sweet things with monkeys plastered on them…a note to anyone that designs this stuff. Stop it. Please. This pack and play would definitely be welcome in our home 🙂

    We don’t have a baby just yet (!!) so I have no experience, but I’m getting quite excited about all the cool new styles of cloth diapers (yeah, apparently diapers can be cool!). I always thought cloth diapers had to be the big square pieces of cloth pinned in front and covered in plastic pants that I wore as a baby, but the new ones are so neat!

    Lots of adjustments in our home these days. My husband and I just had our first baby. Myles was born on 08.25.12. With only a little over a week of parenthood under our belts, I think we would both agree that our favorite item is the Halo sleep wrap…I swear that thing is a baby whisperer! Whenever we just cant figure out the crying, we wrap him into a snug little burrito, and BAM! He’s out.

And then, my daughter loved to climb all over it when she was learning to crawl. It was easy to prop her up in it to learn to sit up. She could take naps tucked in the curl of it. And sometimes, I even took naps in it. They are so comfortable and so versatile.

  286. It’s a breeze! Honestly, my favorite baby item is the bottle drying rack that folds down. I used it for both of my boys (now 5 and nearly 2) and plan on using it for the next baby in February. It dries everything from bottles (duh) to plastic ware, baggies, lids, any little thing I want to get out of my sink but don’t feel like manually drying. Simple but it’s use goes beyond babydom.

    My favorite baby item is the Fisher Price Rock N Play sleeper. We used it as our bassinet and love, love, loved it. So easy to move around the house and take when visiting family/friends. It was the perfect angle to help with his reflux. Love.

    I think I’d have to agree with Rachel with the “bumbo” as one of my favs. My little guy is so chunky (he’s in the 90th percentile for height & weight) and seeing him propped up in that little chair is too stinkin’ adorable!!!   407. It’s a Breeze! Currently, my favorite baby item is my Ergo carrier. I have a 5 and 3 year told and the Ergo allows me to have both hands free for them when we go anywhere. It also allows me to leave her infant seat in the car [because we all know how much of a pain they are] while on outings. Baby loves the Ergo, too!

We have used them since he was a newborn, after the swaddling phase was over he still live to cuddle with them to take naps, are great for snacking “picnics” on the living room floor. There is almost always one in the diaperbag, one in his crib, and one in the living room.

    So I heart our Mamaroo which is by 4moms. It’s not a biased post to try and win the breeze. It’s just an honest statement. Our little girl hated the conventional swing that her brother happily sat in. We were apprehensive about spending the money but a good friend let us borrow theirs first. It’s AMAZING! It’s not just because it looks cool or has fancy motions. It’s smart design. Our little one happened to have a blowout in it and in about 10 seconds I was able to unzip it and throw it in a quick wash and there are no stains and it zips right back in. It’s also super easy to move around. It doesn’t weigh 30lbs and have parts flopping around. Also you can hook up a phone or mp3 player if you don’t want to use the built in sounds. It’s also very durable. I just love smart design.

  462. It’s a breeze, my favorite baby/toddler product has to be a wet back, no carrying around plastic bags to put baby’s clothes in case of a blow out, or use them with cloth diapers, and tied for 1st in my book is my sling, carrying the baby close to my heart.

    My must have baby items are the Aden and Anais muslin blankets. I use them for everything you can imagine related to baby. They are big enough to swaddle an older infant, they can protect your whole body from spit up when you’re burping, they are big enough (and cool enough) to use as a nursing cover, I cover the carseat with them on a sunny day, and my little guy likes using them as a lovie at bed time! It doesn’t hurt that they come in cute patterns, too!

    My favorite baby item so far are these boppy changing pad cover things. They lay on top of the cover and you can just throw it in the laundry basket if it gets pee or poop on it – without having to change the whole pad cover every time. You can have multiples and they take up a lot less room in the drawer. We went through them so fast in the first few days of bringing home baby girl!

My first little guy absolutely couldn’t sleep for his first 6 months unless he was swaddled within an inch of his life. Each one was great for a different stage of his development (and different season).

  639. It’s a breeze! It would be the Playtex One-Step Breast Milk Storage attachments. Pump and freeze the liners right side up. Once it freeze, I can remove the caps and placed it in a ziplock bag until the milk is needed.

    my absolute favorite baby item is the clamp highchair. we take it everywhere! it is so nice to just clamp it onto any table and not have to mess with highchairs when we are out. i also like how it collapses to fold flat.

    My favorite baby item has been the mesh feeders, oddly enough. I didn’t think they were necessary, until a friend gave us one to try and it saved our sleep several times! It was the only thing to calm my son down when he got up in the middle of the night.

    Hands down my favorite baby product was the Miracle Blanket! It changed the way our baby slept and I credit his amazing sleeping patterns to this day (9.5 months old) to it as well. He slept through the night at a month old and hasn’t done differently since.

    My favorite baby item is the boon spoon!! so so convenient. But I love pack and plays too. We keep ours in the back of our car so its always ready at a moments notice for napping on the go! But this one looks much more convenient than ours. And the bassinet would be super convenient for the new baby we have on the way.     I’m expecting #1, and the item I’ve gotten so far that has me the most excited is this silicon mat with suction cups you can put down on any table anywhere for eating. My friend uses it at restaurants. It folds/rolls up and tucks into a purse or diaper bag! So practical.

We used it until she was almost a year old. By that point she could wiggle out of it. Thank goodness her skin has cleared up otherwise we would have had to switch to a baby straight jacket!

    My favorite thing in the entire world right now is our Precious Planet Whale of a Tub! It’s made for newborns all the way up to 2 years. My 2 month old loves to move her hands around in the tub and rather than being held above the tub in a sling, she can actually sit in the tub and is submerged to her chest where she loves to relax. My husband and I both grew up around water and being in a landlocked state we really hope our daughter learns to love and appreciate being around water as much as we do! In those early days I swear the girls’ main goal was to break out of a swaddle and mine was to keep them all cozy in one.   777. It’s a breeze!!! I have two favorite items…our Motorola video monitors and this amazing blanket we got as a gift. It’s made by Kicky Pants and it’s actually made from bamboo. It’s the perfect combination of weight and warmth. It’s actually gotten to be known as the “magic blanket” around here because the minute you lay it over my son and have it touch his face, he’s out. We had to buy a second one to have for a spare when the other one is being washed! I will always give these as gifts at baby showers from now on…it rocks our socks off!

    My favorite baby item is the baby blanket my late grandmother made for us (and one also for my sister and her husband), while we were all struggling with infertility. She was nearing the end of her life and told us she wasn’t going to wait until we conceived but that she knew we would both have a baby to use these blankets for and insisted on giving it to us before she passed away… 2 weeks after her funeral both my sister and I both got positive pregnancy tests and now we have 2 beautiful healthy children!

  804. My favorite baby product is the Mustela PhysiObebe No Rinse Cleansing Fluid. It’s great for in between bath days. The smell is fantastic too. All Mustela products are awesome and safe for baby’s skin.

    My favorite baby items is a cd of smoothing music with a mothers heart beat and swishing fluid/wave sounds in the background, as if the baby was still in the womb. It was the ONLY thing that would sooth my son. Minutes after starting to play it he calmed down and fell asleep. I used it every nap and then at bedtime until he was about 8 years old. He couldn’t go to sleep without it. Best thing ever.

    My absolute favorite baby thing is my 4moms origami. I love it, I am 8 months along right now and I can’t wait to use it with my new baby boy. I have tested it and its such a smooth ride:) 4moms is amazing for thinking up such an awesome concept and solving so many of our problems as mothers. The day time running lights make us more visible at night so we can go places with our kids and not have to worry about traffic not seeing us. The iphone charger is cool too so i have someplace to charge up without having to run home, charge my phone and continue my walk after, its just super conveinant:)

    I’m a soon to be mom, and one of my favorite baby items I’ve used while nannying are the Aiden and Anias Swaddle Blankets. They are made from muslin, and are great. They are large and thin, so you can swaddle baby up, and they stay just the right temperature. Great for summer babies, or if you live in warm climates.

There is literally nothing else that worked better than this fantastic/slightly icky device to help keep my baby’s nose free and clear of the boogies. We even bought a second one for the diaper bag for on-the-go boogie crises. There are a number of other baby items we love, but this one in particular helps during cold weather, germy months and keeps our little guy breathing happily.

    We love the sleep sack. Even when our first 2 were O-V-E-R being swaddled, they still slept great in the sleep sack. Our oldest is 26 months now and I still wish he’d fit in one…he hasn’t slept as well since he out-grew it!

  978. IT’S A BREEZE!!!!! I and my little tubba tubs alike LOVE the white French giraffe. That is so classic and child friendly. Meaning it’s easy to grip and it makes a lot of noise. But not only is it a singular noise maker it’s a duel noise maker. One in the tummy and one in the head.

    No baby yet…coming right after yours, Katie, in about nine weeks…but so far my favorite baby item is my Petunia Picklebottom diaper bag since it can be either a tote, messenger bag, or backpack…I LOVE the versatility! I haven’t used it yet but I can’t wait.

    We have multiple pack n plays in the fam too. My daughter is now 9 and ours was passed to my sister who’s expecting #2 in January. If I won Id probably give her this one and keep her pack-n-play at our house 🙂 I was very simple with my daughter as an infant…but have always loved receiving blankets and a good swaddle. The Aden n Anais blankets are really nice.

  1054. IT’S A BREEZE! One of my favorite items for my 4 month old son, is his Wubbanub. He uses a paci to go to sleep, and when he wakes up in the middle of the night, the stuffed animal makes it so much easier for him to get it back in his mouth himself. (Plus, he loves to rub his froggie!)

    My favorite product hands down the Rock n Play sleeper. It was heaven until we were able to get our son to sleep in his crib!

  1153. Oh yeah, and I totally forgot to mention a fave baby item. I like the dishwasher mesh baskets. Not the big, bulky plastic ones…but the folding mesh ones that are like a pouch. I stuff those things with random straws, sippy mouth pieces and lids…holds every awkward kid kitchen item. Totally rocks my socks. That and the angel dear giraffe lovie. I wonder if my little buddy will ever say goodbye to that thing. 🙂

    My favorite baby gear item is the Angelcare Monitor. I put both my girls in their cribs in their own rooms to sleep right from the minute they came home from the hospital. I put them in there, close the door, and have peace of mind that if they stop breathing the alarm will go off. It lets me get good sleep when they are sleeping and I don’t feel like I have to keep checking on them. Love it!!!

They are just so useful and convenient (and don’t tell this baby, but that’s going to be his crib for the first year or so – which is why it would be great to win- our current one was rescued from the trash, and I think dates to the 1980s personally).

  1332. It’s a breeze! My favorite item is small but important. I LOVE the little rubber duck that holds plastic bags for stinky diapers. I can usually find him at Target. (I always include one of these with any baby shower gift). The duck is functional and fun. After I remove the bag from the tube, I give the duck to baby to keep him happy while I change his diaper.

    My favorite baby product is by far the Aiden & Anias swaddle blankets. They are thin, large and even have a good amount of stretch to them. Makes it SO easy to swaddle when they’re little, and they’re perfect for throwing over the carseat or stroller to provide shade without being too hot. Plus they get softer the more you wash them. My 2 year old still loves his.

  1357. It’s a breeze! I just recently gashed my hand setting up my pack n’ play–blood and all! My favorite thing has to be my changing pad. It’s a Patemm Pad–it’s big, round and machine washable. It’s big enough to cover icky changing tables when you’re out and about–my 30 pound toddler still fits on it with room to spare. Love it!

    I’ve seen this play yard and this it is fantastic! We have an almost 8 month old little man and my favorite product changes daily. In the early days it was definitely the Moby. I wore him all the time – just to get things done around the house! Now that he’s teething, I adore Sophie the giraffe, vibrating teethers, and frozen teething rings. The best!

  1470. My favorite baby item is the “itzbeen.” It keeps track of when the last time you did anything for the baby. I mostly use it at night to see how long itzbeen and it has a handy nightlight and a clip for changing diapers. “It’s a breeze” to use.

Once you get over the fact that you are sucking them out through a tube connected to your very own lips it is quite satisfying. A clear headed baby is the best.

    Being that I am 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby I don’t have a favorite baby item just yet :). We bought our stroller not too long ago, the Bugaboo Chameleon which was one of the cutest, stylish strollers I could find. So far all I have done is stare at it but it sure is pretty!

    My favorite baby item is the boppy. Its my go-to baby shower gift. Whether you breastfeed or not, its such a huge help with holding the baby up closer to you while feeding. and You can set the baby down in/on it for tummy time. I think its great.

    Well since I’m currently 32 weeks preggers with our first I can’t say I have a favorite baby item yet, but I have my eyes on that 4 moms Mamaroo….the thing looks amazing – not to mention it’s not a space hog like all those other swings & bouncers out there. I have heard that it’s important to splurge on the newer model (not the one from last year) because it’s speed is faster and most babies tend to like it better…..I guess we’ll see!

Hmm… my little man is almost five months old and I would say our go to faves are his Fisher-Price Discover N Grow Kick & Play Piano Gym (yes, I had to look it up to find the official name!) and his classic Evenflo ExerSaucer! The piano play mat is awesome! It has a little keyboard he can play with his feet. Then when he can sit up the piano can tilt so that he can play it with his cute little hands!

    The favorite toy in our house are my baby’s hot pink crocs. She LOVES them and willingly wears them (on her hands or feet) all day long. She just figured out how to put them on herself, so wears them even more.

    We loved the Miracle Blanket! Our son was too strong to traditionally swaddle. He would wiggle out and then get upset, so the Miracle Blanket is something we cherished because it kept him wrapped up all snug and warm and he slept peacefully from the night we got it!

    I love that everything is new and interesting to babies. My son is 13 months now and one of his favorite things to play with is wooden spoons. He watches his dad plays them as a percussion instrument and does his best to play along. We even got him his own pair just for learning to play with them. It’s the most adorable thing he’s done so far (and that’s saying a lot)!

We took that thing everywhere with us and it was a life saver. My daughter didn’t seem to like the bouncer or the swing and just wanted to be held all the time, but I’m hoping since baby #3 is another boy, he will be like his big brother.

With my daughter, the SwaddleMe blankets and automatic bouncer seat were lifesavers. With my son, i’m loving MAM pacifiers and the Graco SnugRider Stroller frame.

    Our absolute favorite baby item was our Dr. Sears Balboa Baby adjustable sling. It was the only thing that kept my colicky baby happy in the witching hour of 6 p.m. I had tried two baby carriers before I found it (including the Moby Wrap which made me feel like a complete idiot) but the third one was the charm! I will definitely have it on hand for Baby #2 which is due February 22, 2013!

  1815. It’s a breeze! My fav baby item is my Ergo. We still use it with my 2 year old and my 3 mo old is just getting big enough for it. Yea!

    We haven’t had our baby yet! We are 3 months today..

    let me tell you, I work in a day care. In the infant room. I take care of 8 to 9 babies a day. That is 8 to 9 pack and plays that I put up in the morning and take down in the evening.

    Enough said.

  1817. It’s a breeze! I’m due with my first in November (we actually share the same due date) so I’m not sure what is the best baby thing yet! I’m loving our IKEA chair that we revamped into a rocker though–totally comfortable!

  1818. It’s a breeze! I’m a huge fan of all the cute wooden toys. They may be harder to sanitize, but they sure look better sitting around the house!

  1823. It’s a Breeze!! I love all my carriers (mei tais, wraps etc).. but …. my DD absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES her Kleynimals. They are these awesome stainless steel baby keys…. they are fun metal, make a super cool noise for her… They got me through an hour long oil change just last week.

    I’m loving our playmat because my 5 week old, noelle, is loving it! It has a kiddie piano and great music.

  1833. It’s a breeze! Our first baby is due October 20th so I haven’t actually used any of our baby stuff yet…but my favorite so far is the mobile we made for above the crib!

  1834. It’s a breeze!! My favorite baby item is perfect blue sleepers that both my boys have worn. I love seeing my babies all snuggled up and warm.

  1838. It’s a breeze! I love the disposable sticky placemats for restaurant tables. They ate super convienient and they are biodegratable.

  1844. It’s a breeze! I love Mustela baby soap and lotion! My kids always have very sensitive skin. This was the one product that didn’t give my babies a rash. Plus I love the smell. 🙂

  1845. It’s a breeze! I only have a 5 week old but so far, my favorite baby item is the Aden and Anais swaddle blankets. They are soft and stretchy and keep her from hitting her face while she is sleeping.

  1848. It’s a breeze! What do I really love for baby? Sadly, it’s my cell phone–the only thing that (somewhat) consistently shuts down tantrums. He also walks around pretending to talk on it now. I have to hide it.

    I love the look of this thing. Way better than all the crazy clicks that never just want to click.
    My favorite baby item is our oversized swaddle blankets. Our little one had to be wrapped up super tight, and the blankets marked “swaddle” are not actually large enough to do that. Thank goodness for a friend pointing us in the direction of giant swaddle blankets to do the trick.

  1854. It’s a Breeze! I cant believe how great this play pen looks! I have been an Auntie to 4 kiddos and am finally expecting my own child early next year! I have been fighting with those pak and plays for years when the kids come to stay over and I still haven’t mastered it. This looks amazingly simple! I cant wait to use one for my own baby!

  1859. It’s a breeze! Ok, let’s be honest. I don’t have a baby yet. But I do have a funny store about these things… When my husband and I got married, we spent our 1 yr wedding anniversay in a fancy hotel. Super fun when you get to pick out what you want in our room – so of course I chose extra towels, pillows, and….. a pack ‘n’ play! I didn’t quite know what this was, could have been a video game system or something else really fun. Well. We were rather surprised to find a completed baby crib in our room when we arrived!

    The best purchase ever was the video monitor!! It felt like a luxury item at first, but once she started being able to pull up and stand, it was the thing that allowed me to sleep at night. She’s 2-1/2 and I love that thing more every day!

    unfortunately I had a second trimester loss in Feb. and I don’t have any kiddos (trying again for numero uno now), so I don’t have any favorite kiddo toys. But I always like to give Sophie the giraffe at baby showers! She’s always a hit!

    My favorite baby product is the Bundle Me carseat blanket, it’s so much easier than trying to keep a blanket on them-and much warmer too!

  1888. ”It’s a breeze!” For the first 6 months I have to say the Boppy was my best friend. It made nursing so easy and comfortable, I could lay her in it, do tummy time . . . so many uses. I also really loved my ItzBeen. It’s the only way I could keep track of anything those first few months. It was always by my side.

    I need this one. My nickname is Breeze. And I love this. Please? I don’t have a baby, but suspect I might be preggers. We’re not technically trying to conceive but we’re not really doing much to prevent one… Ya know?

  1892. It’s a breeze! My favorite item is the ERGObaby carrier! I have 2 – one for my 2.5 year old and one for my 3 month old. Sometimes I carry them both around the neighborhood.

    We are expecting our first baby in mid October and can’t believe we’re almost there already! So far my favorite toy isn’t really a toy as much as a book. The Llama llama – book series. Can’t get enough of it.

  1896. It’s a breeze! I really do like Sophie the giraffe. My little guy is just staying to teethe and be able to hold on to things and he just loves to chomp on her little feet!

  1897. It’s a breeze! The best investment we made for our son was a fantastic jogging stroller, and um, I don’t jog. Henry has a shopping cart phobia, so I end up putting him in the stroller and doing our shopping that way, and he loves it. Happy baby = happy mama!

    It might sound a bit strange but I love the blue nose bulb that they hospital gives you. Yes, I’m talking about the infamous baby blue snot blaster! It’s the best and the ones you get from baby kits aren’t the same and don’t work as well. This is definitely a staple item when the baby little nose is stuffed up.

    we are expecting our first baby in December so I’m not sure what our favorite baby item will be but my sister in law did just give us the French giraffe! apparently it was my niece’s favorite! we’ll see what our baby thinks 🙂

  1900. Its a breeze! Its been 6 years since our last baby, and I feel like there is so much I don’t remember, and the rest has changed! My favorite thing then was my Moby wrap and I expect I’ll use it even more this time.

  1902. It’s a breeze! My favorite baby product of all times was my cradle swing. I have twins and felt confident that if I was snuggling one, this cradle was a great second choice!

  1903. It’s a breeze… I absolutely love handmade baby quilts. Still have mine and they are soooo soft and comfy.

  1904. I love my food mill! It lets me make fresh fruits and vegetables without hauling out my food processor! I’m not sure what I’d do without it!

    I actually dont have kids yet but we are near to trying & I am sure I can use this in the future! I do have a niece & nephew though and run my church nursery and so far I think those snack cups that have the plastic on top where the food cannot fall out is GENIUS!

  1928. It’s a breeze! My little guy is only three weeks old (and he’s our first!) so I don’t have a favorite yet… though he does love his Fisher price rainforest swing, and the soothing sound effects it makes put us both the sleep!

  1929. omgomgomgomg! I just got an email saying I actually won this, and wanted to say THANK YOU! I’ve seriously never won anything, so I’m pretty pumped. Plus, we’ll actually use it for our new little baby due to arrive next month. Woohoo! You guys rock.
