Christmas is my favorite time of year. And what better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than with Christmas blogging?! That’s right JC, I am spreadin’ the cheer.
So get ready folks because for the next twelve days, I am gonna give you a little present (or is is a lump of cole?):
12 posts.
one each weekday until the big B-day!
a dozen different posts all about christmasy-santa-clausy-baby-jesusy-pretty-baublesy-winter-seasony related stuff.
So everytime you see the logo above – keep your mouse a-scrollin’ for some more holiday jubilee!
What more could you possibly ask for?
No seriously.
What are you asking for this Christmas? My wish list is needing a little beefing up and you have great taste 🙂
I’m wishing for a Yudu and a wad of cash to replace the scuzzy carpet in my home.
Yay! Looking forward to your Christmas posts! My Christmas list is a bit pathetic this year… our baby is due on Jan 5th (doctor told us yesterday she can actually come any time now…). So, my brain can’t get out of baby land… that’s all I want for Christmas! My husband and I did get a I-pod touch as a shared gift.
Ankle boots and these curtains from Anthropologie.

Yes I do have great taste. Thank you! 🙂
I want a Kuerig. I also want dining room chairs. You probably don’t want that!
Yay baby Jesus!
Can’t wait to read your x-mas postings! What I want most for x-mas this year is to redo our kitchen closet — turn it into more counter space. I have a master plan, but I’m looking mostly for my husband to help me knock down a wall, then some cabinets, countertop, etc.
It’s weird how the stuff we want changes over the years!
<3 Ashley M.
I’m asking for a cleaning lady.
Seriously.
Hubby better listen up. =)
Ashley – you speak the truth my friend. I would have scoffed at the giftgiver of a new pantry years ago….now it seems like a dream come true!
And denise – a wad of cash sounds pretty awesome…like something from that Santa Baby song 🙂

Hey Katie, I’m asking Santa Claus for a F1.8 50mm lens for my camera! The hubs and I have decided not to get anything for each other per se, but instead get something for our house in the new year – like some furniture for our office, or some bookcases for our bedroom-turned-library makeover. Looking forward to your Christmas posts – we just scored a free 7.5 pre-lit Christmas tree for free on Craigslist!

I am asking for a kitchen makeover – or the starts of one, and a kindle! oh and a few little randoms – shoes, sweatshirt, books 🙂
I’m asking for that lense you featured on here a few weeks back for my rebel..(i’m gonna need the BEST pictures of my baybee EVER!)
Also..asking for a leather ottoman in replace of my junky ikea one (i really love ikea…but, its falling apart).
Umm…
and…
my lovely oversized stuff baby chair for long nights of breastfeeding and such..
they are all big things, I realize 😉 Good thing my rents are generous!
How did you make that kickass graphic/logo??
My husband and I are getting a “co-gift”–a nice flash for our Canon Xsi. Although I don’t like to use a flash, Minnesota winters mean that we have very little sun to work with over the winter so I want a nice flash for photos of our little 8-month-old baby boy!
Hi Borrowed Abode,
I actually made the logo in Photoshop. It was a series of shapes and layers until I got it looking a little festive with the ABP color scheme. It actually was really fun to create even though I have not a creative graphic design bone in my body!

Deux Lux purse from UO (soooo soft), Lollia perfume (mmmmm), Pioneer Woman’s cookbook (yummmmm), coasters from Sundance…my list goes on and on 🙂 Hope the holidays find y’all well 🙂
I’m excited about the upcoming posts!! I’m graduating college this weekend so that’s a huge present to me! haha It’s so wonderful to see someone that isn’t afraid of showing their love for JC! =)
The man and I are doing a collective gift for us this year. We haven’t decided on what yet, though. My vote is for a new range or a wall mount for our TV and a compound miter saw.
(I’m only 24 but owning my first home makes me dream of power tools – Ashley M. is soooooo right!)
mmmm…..compound miter saw…..I vote for that one. Believe Katie Bower. You won’t regret it. and just for a little extra sexiness….please Santa, make Miss Em’s compound miter saw a Dewalt. and we all promise to be good till next year.

I’m asking for a baby, a gift certificate for pilates, and to please be able to attend the Scott Antiques Market.
Love the “lump of cole” references – especially in regards to your very next post of darling Cole. He’s a gorgeous little guy = I’m sure he’s going to be melting lots of little girl’s hearts, too!
I really really want a new sideboard for the mudroom… I also need a mudroom.
I am wishing for a baby stroller (our baby is due April 7) but I can’t decide on one! I am torn between the Baby Jogger City Mini and the Phil & Ted Sport – I see you want the Sport. Why did you pick that one?
Hi Kimberly L,
Great question. We went with the Sport because it has the stackable seats. It was the only stroller that I could find with all-terrain wheels, that clips in the Chicco Keyfit carseat that we want, and that can carry two kids – one on top of the other rather than side by side. Those are basically my reasons 🙂
Let me know if you find something else – I am not 100% committed yet – and would love to find something similar at a cheaper price point!

Don’t own a home so I’m out on the home improvement gifts but am in on asking for a lot of smaller things – Payless snow boots (it’s been less than 20 degrees in Colorado for a week!) http://www.payless.com/store/product/detail.jsp?skuId=072349075&productId=66151&subCatId=cat10045&catId=cat10088&lotId=072349&catdisplayName=Womens+ , The Avett Brothers CD, a spoon rest for the kitchen, a wireless bluetooth headset for my phone (on sale for $30 at http://www.newegg.com/), etc.
I have a big family so we draw names and do a secret Santa so we only buy gifts for one person. The spending limit is $75 so everyone receives nice stuff.
