Dino is lookin a little less dinosaurusy.
I think WebMD is just helpin the moms out that are totally freaking because of the weird reptile picture.
I still have no weight gain or morning sickness yet. The boobs hurt like you would not believe. I have resorted to sleeping in a jogging bra. It helps a bit. Jeremy swears they are getting bigger. The jury is still out.
We made our first doctors appointment. To confirm the pregnancy or my weirdness…either way, we’ll get some answers. Apparently they won’t see us until week 8. I am not stressing about it. Just taking a generic vitamin and my folic acid. I like to refer to it as dropping acid. Not that I know what that means. I just like the gangsta sound of it.
Currently our little dinobuggosaurus is the size of a pea. Imagine that. crazy. And even crazier that the little heart is taking it’s very first beat this week.
My dream of a beatboy baby is closer than I realize.
p.s. I decided that I will be NOT posting any more weekly updates until week 17. I just realized that I really freak out way more when I am on the baby websites and reading the books about what happens…errr….grows every week…and honestly, it scares the crap outta me to blog about babies, and hurting tahtahs when it could be a random missed period. Don’t worry – I will still explain the events as they happen…whatever happens 🙂

When I had morning sickness I was reading up on the pregnancy preparedness books, and I was so overwhelmed by the sickness and all the info I was taking in that I made myself stop. I’m able to handle the info now and rather crave it, but after that whole time period has passed (you might make a potty joke here:), I realized that much of what I read about that could happen really was not as bad when it actually happened as it sounded or it didn’t happen to me at all. PS> “What to Expect…” is the worst of the freak-you-out books.

Okay, I haven’t visited your blog in awhile and what do I find when I log on tonight? You’re pregnant!!! Congratulations!!! My friends just had their very first baby and the little girl was just a week old this past Saturday and the Mom said she can’t remember what life was like before her daughter was born. I’m so excited for you guys!! One thing I can’t figure out… when are you due?

I love how you call it ‘dropping acid.’ LOL I will have to remember that one!
p.s. There was this woman at my church who is in her 80s and she calls her husband her ‘boyfriend.’ I love it, it is so playful and funny. Just like you!

Congratulations !!! I’m 8 weeks pregnant and super excited, but I agree with you that I’ve stopped reading so much and I’m just going to let it happen. It’s crazy to think there is a baby growing inside of me. AHH.
Congrats again and I look forwards to your updates at week 17 😉
