I tried. I really did. And I failed.
My goal was to get all three boys asleep together for a photo. I announced that to the whole world. And it didn’t happen the way I wanted. Weston is especially a light sleeper. I can hardly move him when he sleeps especially if he is not in his own room or crib. The fact that we got the two little ones asleep in one bed is a big ole fat miracle. Will is half awake here and the posing was just terrible. I do love the photo still…because any picture with any part of any of my boys is MY FAVORITE PHOTO EVER. Yup. I’m that mom. But for the Picture Party, the whole three-boys idea was slightly modified.
The new goal was ‘take a photo with someone sleeping in it’. This one is the best I got. Although I don’t love the angle of LJ’s head, it will have to do. I was just so afraid to tweak them because they were already stirring.
They do look pretty angelic and I love the fact that Weston laid on his back for this shot (he generally tries to roll over to his tummy)…so it was pretty rare to get any shot at all. Also, it’s maybe a blessing in disguise because I do love getting these shots of Weston with ‘his’ baby. I’ve said it probably a bazillion times – he is so obsessed with LJ that this picture’s message pretty much sums up Weston’s #1 priority in life right now.

Now it’s your turn to share your photos. I really can’t wait to see them!
Here are the instructions if you are a linky-party newbie…
- click on the blue “Add Your Link” button at the bottom of this post – add a link to your Spring photo challenge blog post in the url field (please do not link to your home page).
- pretty pretty please remember to link to only SLEEP PICTURE posts. We think your tablesetting is stunning. This is not the place for it
- If you’d rather just link over to your photo in the comment section, feel free to do that – or even add a link to a free photo sharing site like Flickr or Photobucket with your pic if you don’t have a blog (remember to set the gallery to public so we can all see it).
- Please remember that if you choose to leave a comment on someone’s photo, that we are all still learning and there is a fine line between criticism and breaking someone’s photography spirit…when in doubt, be gentle and encouraging…we aren’t Anne Geddes yet

Just added my first link for the link party. I’m a newbie! Hope I did it right! It’s an image from Christmas. Kinda old, but I still love it. E.T.

You did a great job! Bless you for even trying to get a picture of all three of them sleeping at the same time. I know that I couldn’t do that with my girls.

Failed? Seriously? They are beautifully done, in my opinion. Especially touching is Weston holding LJ’s hand. Adorbs.
